My wife and I just returned from our second long vacation to Jost Van Dyke in three years and had a fantastic experience (again!) at White Bay Villas. While we have plenty of wonderful things to say about the stay itself, I want to focus first on the absolutely phenomenal customer service and care provided by everyone on the WBV team. For anyone thinking of traveling to JVD for the first time, White Bay Villas is the best decision you will ever make, and not just for the breathtaking accommodations and views. There are so many uncertainties and sometimes curveballs on a trip of this nature, and so peace of mind and confidence in the staff of your lodging of choice is of the utmost importance. I have never had a better customer service experience in my life than what we just enjoyed at WBV. Never. Long story short, we had a medical issue on our flight into St.Thomas, which in addition to the extreme anxiety of the event itself, snowballed into us missing our scheduled ferry that day, and then watching our COVID testing window for entry into BVI expire the following day. We had a ride scheduled with Erika, whom I contacted immediately once I realized our plans were crumbling, simply to let her know we weren’t going to make our ride with her and I was going to have to spend my afternoon figuring out options. The next thing I knew, Erika had mobilized an entire team of people at WBV – who over the course of that day and the next, sprung into action to coordinate a place for us to stay in St. Thomas; arrange for potential private transportation to JVD if we needed it; advise and communicate on what we needed to do to solve our COVID testing dilemma; and even provide personal transportation from the hospital to our temporary lodging, to the clinic for retesting, and to the ferry terminal once all our issues were resolved two days later. All of this in addition to arranging all our taxi transportation in Tortola and JVD. No questions asked. I was completely floored by the kindness and support we received. Kevin from the management team was a godsend – personally handling much of the above on his own time. He bent over backwards to help us in every way imaginable, and was an encyclopedic resource on travel requirements, logistics, transportation nuances, and pretty much anything we needed to deal with as a result of our incident. He was simply a model of ideal customer service – and literally handled everything for us so that we didn’t have additional stress. Maria and Lucy from the WBV office (and Erika as well) were constantly in communication and making sure that we were clear on all the rapidly changing arrangements. We were in very, very good hands, and it made a tremendous difference in our ability to bounce back from the rough start and still enjoy every moment of our time on vacation. I relay all of this because when you’re traveling to such a relatively remote destination with many complexities and uncertainties, confidence and trust in the folks you’ll be staying with is priceless. I couldn’t possibly recommend WBV and their team more in this regard. All that said, our stay in a Seaside Cottage this time around was unforgettable – as was the first stay two years back in a Paradise Villa. The breathtaking views from these villas (every single one of them really) are beyond description. They NEVER get old. JVD has got to be one of the most peaceful, calming places on the planet if you ask me – and White Bay Villas provides the perfect home base to enjoy a truly transformative vacation. The villas are clean and comfortable, and equipped with everything you need. The staff – most notably Michelle, perhaps the sweetest woman on earth – is there to help you with anything and everything you request, all with a smile. If something goes wrong, they fix it immediately. Maria and Michelle ask proactively almost every day if there is anything they can do for you. This is what makes a property stand out, and one of the reasons why we came back to WBV and certainly will again. One particularly impressive new aspect of the WBV experience since our last stay was the new Beach Club – the vision of John, the owner, and clearly a labor of love. Located on the secluded end of the White Bay beach at the foot of the properties, the club offers an outstanding new restaurant and bar, plentiful and complimentary beach loungers, towels, and other amenities, and stunning views from two separate covered outdoor seating areas. We spent day after day lounging in front of the club, most times with almost no one else around! The location is such that you’re pretty much guaranteed a peaceful, private beachside experience if that’s what you crave. With fabulous food and drink just steps away! As for the Beach Club restaurant, it is absolute must-do for lunch, dinner, and/or drinks! The chef, Ardenia, has created some delectable dishes. My wife had the pumpkin ravioli, which was out of this world! She couldn’t stop raving about it – and by the way, Lena, our wonderful server, went out of her way to pre-order the pumpkins in advance because my wife so wanted to try this dish while we were on property. It was superb. I had the grouper and miso soup…exquisite flavor and a clever combination! There were also some chicken and steak dinners that looked tantalizing (next time for sure.) The club also serves up some amazing pizzas (marguerita, salami, and others), prepared in a huge, state-of-the-art brick oven, and a creative assortment of specialty drinks along with beer and wine. The menu is constantly being expanded and you should be sure to try out the club as a dining option during your visit. All of this can be enjoyed either inside – where John is in the process of procuring and placing some whimsical and classic artwork – or at two separate outdoor dining areas with amazing views of the drop-dead gorgeous White Bay waters. Ambiance and camaraderie abound, as Lena is so friendly and fun to talk with, and John has some very interesting stories about how White Bay Villas came about and his vision for the property and the Beach Club moving forward. I could go on to do an entirely separate review of what a special and captivating place Jost Van Dyke is, and how wonderful and friendly the locals are. You will discover that soon enough! 1000% recommend White Bay Villas, and please pm me if you have any questions at all about the property, the Beach Club, or the island. You owe it to yourself to stay here…it’s an unforgettable experience, and we are already plotting our next visit. Kevin, John, Maria, Michelle, Lucy, Lena, Bruno, and Erika - thank you so much for your exceptional hospitality and another incredible JVD vacation. We will see you again very soon.

I've been to many islands in the Caribbean and I have to say - the view from Paradise Villa is one of the best I've ever seen. I didn't want to leave. The villa was clean and comfortable. Maria is absolutely amazing and super helpful. I cannot thank her enough. If traveling from the US it is a whole day of traveling. No direct flights were available to us - two planes, two ferries, multiple taxis - if possible, it is definitely worth it to arrange for Frankie to pick you up in St Thomas in his boat. We learned this the hard way when we missed the 2nd ferry from Tortola to JVD. We bypassed the ferry on the way home and had Frankie take us back to St Thomas for our return flight. Be aware that if you are staying in one of the Paradise villas you are in for quite a hike down to the beach and bars and then back up. There are taxis available- but its all part of the experience! I highly recommend having groceries delivered for your arrival. This worked out perfectly and our fridge was stocked with our provisions when we arrived.

We stayed three nights at Solaire Harbourview Suites at Secret Harbour, St. Thomas. Having traveled to St. Thomas five or so times, this was by far the best accommodatons that we've experienced on the Island. The overall complex comprised about six buildings/units with about half have available as rentals and the others private residences. The villa suite is perfect for a couple, with a cozy kitchen and lovely bathroom. Our building consisted of two villa units, one ground level, one upstairs. Entrance to to the villa suties is gated which provides a level of security. At no time during our visit did we turn on the room's AC. With plenty of windows and a large slider, pleasant breezes were enough to keep us cool and the sounds of the waves along the shoreline were delightful. As a previous reviewer mentioned, you are a short walk down to the Secret Harbour Beach and very good snorkeling. The only thing I could think about as we departed was, how soon can we come back to this lovely villa and absorb more of the experience. My only unpositive comment would be that communication of how to gain access to the villa could be improved. We had to seek out management on the day of our arrival to be provided with that information. We understand that this information cannot be provided early, but there should have been prior communication that that informed us when to expect the access info and how to access the unit. Once we did make contact with the manager Kevin, those issues were readily resolved.

We live in the Caribbean and let me tell you, this is the place you want to stay in BVI. Overlooking the iconic White Bay, these villas are perfect for a couple getting away for a fun weekend, or a family looking for the ultimate getaway. A quick walk downhill to either White Bay or Great Harbour you will have virtually all of the great bars and restaurants of Jost Van Dyke at your convenience. The villas themselves are impeccable - clean, well-built, with all the ammenities you would expect. The staff is incredible - they went out of their way to make sure we had an wonderful experience. Don't forget to check out the Beach Club - best pizza in all of BVI!!

Our kids have grown up visiting Jost for the past 20 years - so when our son and bride-to-be decided on a destination wedding the White BayVillas on Jost was perfect choice. We had 26 guests “family and close friends” all stay at White Bay Villas. The accommodations were awesome since they have various choices based on number of guests. We had Plantation Villa, Sunset East and a few Hillside Villas to house all of us comfortably. Property Manger, Kevin and his staff have high standards and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. With the recent opening of the White Bay Villa Club House (state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, including a pizza oven) everything was so convenient to the villas for meals and beach activities. The Wedding was held on beach in front of Club House at sunset, followed by a sit down dinner at the Club House. Could not have ask for anything better!! It was picture perfect! Would give them 10 stars if that was a choice! Everyone wants to return for their 1 year anniversary!!❤️

We traveled from Florida to WBV for our daughters wedding. We stayed in Sunset Villa East and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Kevin was fantastic and met every single one of our needs, making sure not only our stay, but also the wedding was just perfect. He even brought some baby goats to us for my youngest daughter to bottle feed. The pizza at the beachside clubhouse was the best pizza ever!! John, the owner of WBV, came around multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. We ate multiple meals prepared by Renee at the Tipsy shark. Each and every one did not disappoint. The wedding was right on White Bay so WBV will always hold a special place in our heart. I would highly recommend WBV for any occasion or just a beautiful getaway! Can’t wait to return!

Attended a family destination wedding that was held at white Bay Villas. The accommodations were wonderful, very clean and everything needed was provided. The wedding reception was fantastic and was coordinated and prepared by Renee at White Bay Villas. The rehearsal dinner was held on the roof at the Tipsy Shark with another tasty meal prepared by Renee. However, I cannot say enough about the manager at White Bay Villas, Kevin. His goal is to make sure you are well taken care of, everything runs smoothly, coordinated and that you are happy with everything. If you are looking for a great place to have that special event, go on vacation or just a beautiful place to stay then I highly recommend White Bay Villas! Definitely 5 stars.

What an unforgettable experience! We had our daughters destination beach wedding and we stayed at White Bay Villas. We rented the Plantation Villa and the Papaya Villa. The Plantation Villa is a large multi-wing unit that sleeps up to 12 comfortably. The viewing tower sits on top of the master bedroom and has a spectacular view of the bay. The Papaya Villa sleeps 4, but is really a secluded romantic unit for a couple. The clubhouse has some delicious food items. Kayak, body surfing, floats, water games are all included. John and Kevin are great to work with. The staff is beyond friendly. Maria, the office manager made our check-in effortless even though we arrived 5hrs early for check-in. She held all 10 peoples luggage and had them delivered to their respectable units once the units are available. Michelle did her daily check ins and made sure we had everything we needed for the day. We highly recommend this lodge and we will definitely be returning!!!! Not disappointed at all!!!!!

As the CEO of a large hotel management company I have decades of experience with service quality and my families’ week at the Plantation Villa could not have been better. Kevin and Maria anticipated all our needs. The layout was so spacious for entertaining ourselves with stories while taking in the postcard view. And the bedrooms were quiet and cool. The walk down to the beach and the club was a little adventure the grandkids loved. Will go back for sure.
