We stopped at this charming island inn for lunch. We ate on the screened porch. Two lunches and tip for $46C. The chef has great options that are somewhat uncommon but delicious. I had the smoked salmon salad. It was served with dressing on a plank -- as fish is often served. The salmon was about 4 slices; I would... More

My wife stayed here 1 night en route to Quebec City. The hotel itself is in a great location right on a point overlooking Quebec City. Our room (a deluxe) had a balcony overlooking the river. It was a huge room and very nicely appointed. So far so good, right. But the smell entering the room was rather nauseating and... More

My wife and I spent three nights here in this charming wooden inn on the edge of the Ile D'Orleans just across the water from Quebec City. Even though it's pretty busy in the summer we never felt crowded. We rented a two bedroom apartment in a small building just to the side of the main block and appreciated the... More

A cozy little inn with great character. We had a room with a balcony and we could open the exterior french doors to an incredible water view. Although the room was a tad small it was very comfortable and well kept. We had a meal/room package. The breakfasts and dinners by the water were great. The staff were very helpful... More

We stayed in 250... For those disabled, like me, there is a tiny elevator which made everything very accessible. The room was spotlessly clean, no sharp learning curve on the TV remote LOL... a small refrigerator RIGHT by the bedside. Very hard to find ANYTHING to complain about! We had our first night in a BIG thunderstorm, but slept almost... More

The concierge at our resort recommended we visit the Ile d'Orleans after we explained we wanted to see something of Quebec other than just the city. We wanted to stop for lunch and this popped up on the GPS. How fortuitous. The food was wonderful. We both had the home made sausage plate. I discovered that there is a way... More

My husband and I visited Auberge La Goeliche in October of 2015 and enjoyed it so much that we made it part of our itinerary on a return trip to Quebec in May. The place has a nice feel to it - comfortable yet elegant, and the menu and resultant food in the restaurant is spectacular. I like that you... More

15-20 minutes outside of Quebec City, on the island of Orleans on the bridge at the turnoff at the Falls, you find Auberge la Goeliche. Driving through the white winter snow past the lit up village houses, it's beautiful and romantic. The hotel is very cute and well-run. It's clean and decorated with nice fixtures--definitely a relaxing spot.

This delightful small hotel is without a doubt the best place to stay on the Ile d'Orleans near Quebec City. It is located on the western tip of the island, with nice views of the St. Lawrence river. Check in was easy - thank you Julien. We had one of their deluxe rooms with a deck, gas fireplace, good TV... More
