What a wonderful place to spend a few days. John and Addie are very friendly hosts, who are only too willing to help out in any way they can. They provide a choice of breakfasts, all so filling and well cooked. The suites are spotless and are very well decked out and have loads of character. The hosts are only...

My wife and I ended our 17 day tour of Newfoundland, for three nights in September 2016 at the Captain's Legacy. We cannot imagine a better bed and breakfast in Twillingate, or a better place to end our holiday The location is perfect as a base for exploring the area, close to many tourist attractions and great hiking trails. It...

We and another couple spent five nights at this beautiful house on Hart's Cove, Twillingate enjoying the superb hospitality of John and Addie. They made us feel welcome right away, even offering help and tools for a car problem! Lots of highlights: ample cooked breakfasts with a freshly baked extra treat from John each morning; good-sized bedrooms with courtesy robes...

We stayed as 2 couples, taking the downstairs room and a first floor one . John and Addie were great hosts and welcomed us into their home . We only stayed one night but were made to feel so welcome and part of the family . Breakfast was excellent with a pre order system in place the night before ....

Because we were late booking, we ended up in the small Mate's room. It was actually ok. This was a great place to meet and share travelling experiences at the end of the day in the common living room. The owners are great, open and sharing their expat experiences in this community. The breakfast is thought out, well prepared and...

The room was a bit small but priced fairly as a small room. A traveller's favourite - no surprise! It was comfortable! The owners were personable and helpful. The breakfast was great. I would highly recommend this B and B! John gave out his scone recipe. It was so popular with guests that he had it pre-copied and produced it...

We've stayed at a lot of B&Bs over the years, and this B&B has got to be number 1 or 2. The hosts were great and helped out with things to do and local knowledge. One of the drawbacks of a lot of B&Bs is that for breakfast you have a communal table. While not bad, there are mornings that...

Addie and John are great hosts. We stayed in the Elizabethan room. It is lovely with a great view. Everything about it was good, rooms were clean, and they did not lack for anything. Shhets, towels, everything was nice. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

We stayed here for two nights and we found the Elizabethan Room very satisfying. The Regency Room is comfortable and less expensive but this room is a little tighter for accomodation as the washing area is outside the shower space and in the room that you sleep. There is no electrical outlet in the toilet/shower area. The owners are very...
