Just came back yesterday from a week staying in The Granary. I'm almost reluctant to write this review because it was just so wonderful and we're already talking about a return! Everything was clean and fresh for our arrival and, yes, the welcome gifts were greatly appreciated (those toffee waffles are addictive). The wine was delicious too. The garden area...

We stayed here for 3 nights during my half-term break and loved every second. The woodland walk was a perfect way to start our day followed by a trip to feed the 2 resident donkeys. The hot tub is idyllic and we really appreciated the little welcome gifts (chocolate/waffles) upon arrival. Thank you so much for our much needed rest!

We were two couple staying for a long weekend and loved just about everything about the Granary. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The underfloor heating was so good that we weren't able to try the log burner! The setting was beautiful and even the early morning wake up from the peacocks, donkeys and other animals didn't bother...

Our second trip to Blaenfforest, and as before a perfect break to get away from it all! Descending the track from the road down into the valley is like escaping from the real world into a peaceful haven. Sally and Russell were as friendly and welcoming as before. Our previous visit 12 months earlier had formed part of our honeymoon...

I echo the sentiments of others. We spent a lovely 4 nights here in April 2016 in the cosy little 1 bed cottage. We loved the Woodland Walk that Sally and Russell have developed - it is quite delightful to walk along the babbling brook at the bottom of the little valley, and we enjoyed meeting the animals at Blaenfforest...

Having seen the reviews and had such prompt, friendly and helpful communication with Sally from the outset, I was confident that we were going to have a great stay at the Granary but I didn’t realise just how wonderful it would be. My faith wobbled slightly when my sat nav took us on a tiny little road with a ditch...

We love, love, love blaenfforest. Last year we stayed in the 1 bedroom cottage. This year we went for the larger 2 bedroom property. Although only 2 of us & a small dog,for the extra money we were not disappointed. We enjoyed the extra space & that the hot tub was a few steps from the front door. Everything about blaenfforest is...

“We may decide to rent the bigger cottage next time as my partner and I are used to big spaces.”

“The cottage is suitable for those with mobility problems, being level ( with one small step) and having a large walk in shower. The Granary is more roomy but has stairs. Both properties are of an excellent standard, with quality fixtures and fittings and comfortable and luxurious seating and bedding. Both have stunning views of the surrounding countryside.”
