In September we'd had a lovely meal at the Sovereigns pub in Woking which I'd reviewed and a helpful response was received by the management to try their sister pub The Innkeepers Lodge when looking for somewhere to stay on our next visit to Woking. We booked on the advice and after reading the reviews and got what we believed...

Although somewhat old-fashioned, the room was clean, there were plenty of towels and the large shower was a definite plus. There was plenty of tea and coffee and I easily managed to park. The staff were friendly and booking-in was easy. The room was quiet. Small things would have made my stay more comfortable though were not very bothersome for...

Booked two rooms , one disabled access, both very good, clean and spacious usual tea and coffee making facilities. Continental breakfast included in the price which had a good selection of cereals, bread, croissants, teas and coffee, fresh fruit and yogurts. We took evening meal in the pub also which had a varied menu and was good value.

I was working in the area and needed somewhere last minute. The pub itself is a real gem. The rooms are clean and comfortable and I had a great sleep. Most of all though the staff are amongst the most pleasant I've met in a pub/hotel and are a real credit.

This place is sooooo laid back and friendly. Myself and my family stayed there recently, I told the woman on reception we were over for a funeral and they were totally respectful of the space we needed at the time. If you want a big room that fits a family, ask for the ground floor outside rooms (they're huge) Myself...

Great hotel great staff thoroughly recommend. Rooms were clean food was up to scratch and the staff were brilliant. A very pleasurable stay. Over all great value for money. My only criticism would be the lack of parking

We stayed here overnight. The room was comfortable and had everything you need for a short stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
If you're looking for a hotel in Woking with a great central location, this comfy 34-bedroom lodge is perfect. Just a short walk from Woking station, it's an ideal base whether you're sightseeing in Surrey or attending the H.G. Wells Conference and Event Centre for business.Whatever your travel plans, it's nice to know that there's a cosy real-ale pub* right next door, where you can put your feet up with a pint of expertly kept cask-ale and some traditional, seasonally inspired food.Woking is a bustling town close to Horsell, Chobham and Sheerwater. Nestled in the heart of leafy Surrey, it was a favourite country residence of the Tudors, although certainly for science-fiction fans it's most famous for the "Martians invasion" in H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds.Nearby you can explore two majestic 18th century mansions, Clandon Park and Hatchlands Park, inspect the vintage cars and planes at the Brooklands Museum or take the family to Chessington World of Adventure. ... more   less
