Very obliging staff, good breakfast very comfortable bed, television in room with freeview, car parking, security cameras. No complaints, about anything but if picky could do with a bit of a little decoration.

I've stayed here several times before. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast and option to have an evening meal as well. The staff were fantastic, very polite and helpful in all departments (Reception, Kitchen, House Cleaning).

My stay at the Campanile was a very pleasant experience. I travelled some fifty miles from home, as my dog was having a major operation at a nearby specialist vet. I stayed overnight last week and then came back for a 3 night stay. The staff were exceptional in every aspect - friendly and very supportive. The room was very...

Stayed for four nights here while visiting my family. Myself and husband shared a double room. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was VERY basic. But what do you expect for £45 a night? Decent tv in the room and hair dryer. Bath is very small and tiling could be redone. It was quiet considering there...

Our first time in Runcorn, despite only living 10 miles away. Went to a show at the Brindley, which is about 5 minutes pleasant walk away, mostly along the Bridgewater canal. Friendly reception. He also prepares the food, so,we had a short wait while he made a fry-up for another guest, but we were acknowledged cheerfully before he could give...

An older appearing site, the accommodation is quite strange, in that it resembles a motel. Although this may not be to everyones taste, there is certainly nothing wrong with this, and the site compliments the Campanile brand well. Arriving mid afternoon on a bank holiday, the place was pretty much deserted. Staff were on hand to check me it. Reception...

Well what can I say, my partner and I accompanied by our small dog decided to book some last minute accommodation for easter weekend for work purposes. We of course found it difficult to find somewhere to stay at such short notice but managed to book a room at the Campanile in Runcorn at a bargain rate, we were of...

I've reviewed this place before so won't completely repeat myself. The rooms are in a block set apart from the reception and restaurant building. The accommodation block is reminiscent of an 80s council housing block replete with concrete stairwells. However, the unappealing architecture belies a good hotel. The rooms are roomy, warm, en suite, well lit, good bed, free wifi...

There is a lot of hysteria in the reviews for this hotel. It is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. It's shabby in places and dated, but clean and well kept. The staff are friendly and it has everything you could need. I didn't have the breakfast but it smelled great and I wished I had...
