We visited recently with our 2 year old daughter, staff and other customers were very accommodating towards her and made us feel very welcome, love the ciders on draft, food was lovely but I felt it was a little overpriced.

We went to the Flying Horse for a family lunch with my wife, daughter and son-in-law, and our three lively grand-daughters, we were pleased to find that parking nearby in a council car-park was free, a much appreciated benefit, and one that our home town of Stockport would do well to consider, if they want to attract shoppers in to... What can I say other than FANTASTIC! The flying horse is situated right in Rochdale Town centre. The staff are warm, welcoming and polite (a rarity these days, believe me) Myself and my daughter booked on for the Mad Hatters Tea Party and it was fantastic, the room was decorated with Alice theme, very well thought out, in keep with... I love this place the staff are really nice and smartly dressed the beer is fresh and tasty The only problem is what i assume to be the owner sat at the end of the bar looking miserable and tends to give people dirty looks it may not be the case but that's out she comes across

Hello there, Thank you for the lovely words in regards to our staff and beer. Little confused over the 'grumpy owner' comment, I don't sit at the end of the bar and I'm 100% a man. Perhaps its just a grumpy lady? Hope to see you soon. Ask for me and ill say hello :) Ben (very happy man owner) More

Me and my mum absolutely loved our food here- so well priced and really lovely. Interesting menu, not just standard pub food. Sweet potato fries were amazing. The service was second to none and the food came very quickly. Would Recommend to anyone!

We have eaten in at the flying horse and the food was superb, so today we decided to get a take away. We were NOT disappointed!! Perfect timing on delivery and the food was as good as eating in and hot. Lucky to have such good food so close! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Well what can I say, we booked a room for the family mentioning, that we wanted an accessible room for a guest with breathing difficulty The carpets were stained, the pillows smelt of other people's heads The owner offered us our money back but at this late stage after climbing to the top of the building we decided to stay... Firstly the pub is in a great location for the city centre, free parking outside & is located above a good pub but the rooms are shocking!! We stayed in a family room, paid £60 our reason for staying was a christening in the function room, so it was handy. I nearly died when I saw the rooms, dirty carpets,... More

My and a friend went for lunch here yesrday. It was amazing. Being a veggie i often find it difficult to find many meat frew choices but there was a lot of choice available on the menu and a veggie special on the board. There was a huge variety of meat dishes too. The prices are reasonable and the food... More
