Booked a twin room? And was given no more than a cupboard, the place was smelly, the staff very rude, asked if it was possible for an early breakfast as we had to leave, and was told on no uncertain terms NO.maybe it was a blessing, couldn't get rid of that smell. Please wipe your feet on way out.

Where to start.... I booked a single room with a shower. The room can only be described as an inverted tardis! It looked bigger from thye outside! Whilst it was clean enough, the bed was just a step up from a park bech. Tiny room, hardly enough room to get changed without having to sit on the bed. The main... More

This was an awful place to stay and the worst I have ever been subjected to in the UK. Why I didn't check Tripadvisor, I do not know! Me and my six unfortunate colleagues had to endure this terrible place for one night only but that was enough! The rooms were dirty, damp and had questionable bathroom facilities. The basement... Normally I check on Tripadvisor almost all my hotels before I make the booking. In this case, my regular hotel for my bi-weekly Redhill trip was fully booked thus I decided to quickly book something else on Booking.com. The reviews there weren’t too bad so I booked without doing any further research. £ 75 for one night didn’t sound too... More

Went there for 2 nights, and where do I start! The entrance to the hall way is like the tunnel of doom. The first room we stayed in had a free standing shower in the corner of the room and the beds well let's just say I wouldn't let my dog sleep in it!!! The decor probably looked nice in... More

The russian woman that owned the guesthouse didn't even offer us breakfast. Furthermore she chased us away with a potato masher after she tripped us upon the scary (unnecessarily) pink staircase. Every room was a different shade of dulux; less of a hotel and more of a B&Q advertisement. Walking to the room was like walking through a real life... More

I was unfortunate enough to spend a night here when my husband was taken ill and admitted to hospital in Redhill. I stayed in Room 3, the first thing that hits you is the smell, damp and musty. There were cigarette burns in the dirty carpet in the room, the "en suite" which is situated in what appears to be... More

Biggest mistake was not checking previous Trip Advisor feedback. Was a bit late arriving after a delayed flight so really couldn't be bothered to kick up a fuss as I just wanted to get some sleep. Was noisy as window would not shut properly and was a security risk as in ground floor. Water from shower started warm then proceeded... More

I really wish I had looked at trip advisor before booking and staying in this place. Looking at other people's reviews I would say we had one of the better rooms but that's not saying a lot. The window did t fit the sill so we were unable to close it and could hear traffic all night. The ensuite's lock... More

Without doubt they try here but it fails on just about every level. Rooms are brilliant if you want 1970's decor - it's like going to see your grandmothers bedroom, functional but that's it. Breakfast is 1 of everything, except beans, they'll give you millions of beans but everything is "own brands" stuff, they even have the ketchup on the... More
