-bedroom was nice and good size beds -pillows Wasn’t the best and shower was nice and hot Tho We booked during covid due to being the only one open and have stayed in the hotel which is close to them before! Not a long walk to tube but just glad it was only 1 night! Bad side is- Someone was having a party which had loud music in the room next to us then at 3am got rudely woken by people shouting at eachover and going through into the corridor we was on and then opening and shutting the fire door loudly... the doors shut loudly anyway there must of been about 6/7 people or more people shouting at the top of there voices most of it not in English... then shouting stuff like she has a nife and hit her etc right outside our room! The staff seemed to not care as no one tried to brake any of it up. And then they where locking eachover out of the fire door and was banging to try and get back in. By the time the music stopped and it quiet down it was around 5am I managed to go back to sleep! So weather or not they where paying customers as Iv seen other reviews and they let the homeless stay etc I think they should have a word and tell them to quiet down as you do have people pay to Stay there which just makes the bed and breakfast bad if you can’t sleep due to others!!

I have stayed at the Park Hotel, Ilford three times in the past few weeks, it’s economical however not the most clean hotel. Have had trouble every time to extra pillows as the one pillow supplied on the bed is very thin. When I ask for an extra pillow am always told they don’t have any but will get some tomorrow I don’t want it tomorrow I want it now. Even when I have booked ahead and requested that I have an extra pillow in my room, it’s never there and have to wait the next day. Very bad management. The place is also very noisy.

We booked this hotel for the three of us. My wife and I and my 20 month old son. A convenient location for what we wanted to do and that was the 1 star section. The room, noisy, paper thin walls, windows wide open and heating off on arrival (November), open rat poison in the room, scum around the taps, plug in the sink stuck, fire extinguishers with no proper safety check stickers on them. Dirty and not comfortable at all. Paper thin pillows and a shower that’s either boiling hot or freezing cold. A huge gap under the door and light so bring hot shining in from the hallway makes it hard to sleep. Thankfully a towel came in handy! Their is not sufficient parking on site. There is no decent reception area to sit and talk or relax. Breakfast, at best was ok. Cheap rubbish sausage, greasy hot food for the rest of it. Toasters that take forever and not really worth eating. Reception staff that seem quite rude and management that apparently are never in! All adds up to “Id rather sleep in the car”! I will never recommend here or ever be back.

Small hotel, we had good size room which was comfortable and clean Bathroom small but clean and shower was fine. Electric heating in the bedroom. Free parking. Breakfast rooms were large and with a choice of food. Staff efficient and friendly. About 20 minutes walk from underground station on the central line. Good restaurants nearby. We would recommend and stay here again.

We were sent here from another hotel who'd mucked up our booking. When we arrived we were told we had been sent to the wrong place and there was actually a third hotel where we had a room booked. All three hotels seem to be affiliated or owned by the same people. However, Park Hotel offered us a room to try to avoid sending us away again stating we may not like it in which case we could go to the room in the third hotel. We had booked a triple room and the room they showed us was a double room with a single mattress on the floor. Now, to be fair this was mostly the fault of the first hotel we'd visited and they had offered this to try to be accomodating, but we refused the room and chose to go to a room which was actually as booked. However, the receptionist then had a conversation in front of us with the manager of the first hotel and despite telling us we were in the wrong place they instead told her we just didn't like the room they offered us as there was a 'lower bed' implying it was us being fussy that meant we had to be sent to the hotel our room was actually booked in. We disputed this and asked the receptionist to clarify this with the manager of the first hotel but she denied saying any of this despite us just watching her on the phone. We asked to go back to the room to take pictures to clarify there was a mattress on the floor and not a lower bed as we wanted to complain about the number of transfers to the first hotel and her saying this undermined us and made it seem like we only had to move again due to being picky about the room. She stated there was a bed frame but it was just lower but this was a blatant lie as we had already seen the room and she refused to let us back in to take pictures stating there were photos of the rooms on the internet (not however of mattresses on the floor as funnily enough this is probably not a good selling point). She then refused to give us her full name and refused to let us speak to management. Overall we were treated with contempt by the staff despite having been mucked around and not done anything wrong.
