I stayed in room 101 and could not fault it as was very nice and the bed very comfortable. Room was clean and has everything you need. Only downside was breakfast. Took our order and had to wait half hour for toast and a cup of tea. Then had to ask how long our breakfast will be. If was very... More

Whilst driving the route that my (clinically insane) chum is looking to ride to celebrate his entry into his seventh decade - objective being to see how many miles he can cover in 24 hours - (as I said, clinically insane), we overnighted here. The hotel is at the end of a road, and just by some docks which are... More

I am staying here on business. The location is not the best as from what I've seen, Goole has little to offer. However, I couldn't fault the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and kind. I was on the 2nd floor and one of the staff carried my case up 2 flights for me. Wifi was excellent (cant say the... More

Stopped overnight for a leaving do. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. The staff very friendly and polite. Breakfast the following morning was very nice lots of choice. Nothing too much trouble. Bacon sandwiches served at the function on the evening were also very enjoyable too.

Afternoon tea at the Lowther Hotel was relaxing, enjoyable, good value for money and the food was tasty. Delicate sandwiches, warm scones with jam and cream, mini Eton mess, vanilla panna cotta and three different types of cake. (Helpfully some foil was provided to take some home). Staff are very helpful and attentive. The hotel is attractively decorated and has... More

Booked through Egencia, didn't know what to expect, pleasantly surprised. Although not in a posh area, Goole is what it is , the Hotel is situated near the Inland docks which gives quiet tranquil settings , close to town centre. Warmly welcomed to the Hotel, building has character and charm, and the rooms are very well presented and furnished. On... More
