I would love to have stayed longer.. Beautiful grounds to explore. The hotel room was spacious and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The bed was a little small for the size of the room, as we are used to a king..I wasn't buying the place. So a double is what we got.

Good Evening, Many thanks for your wonderful review. I was very glad to read that you have enjoyed your stay and all what The Manor has to offer. Since you have mentioned that you've stayed in the ''old part'' of the building the rooms in question would be our deluxe rooms and junior suites which, apart from a massive amount of space, also offer a very large bed and are beautifully designed. Please do let us know should you wish to book any of them in the future and we'll be very happy to help. I was also very happy to read that you found our staff helpful and professional and I'll be sure to pass your lovely comments onto them. They all have our guest's satisfaction at heart and will be delighted to hear that their hard work is appreciated. I look forwards to welcoming you in the nearest future. Kind Regards

Good Evening, Thank you for your review. As you have mentioned, The Manor is placed in a beautiful settings, surrounded by lush gardens and very close to the Elstree Studios and as the building dates back to 1540s and as it is Grade listed building, we are unable to have certain facilities such as a lift. We, however, do offer a variety of rooms including our deluxe rooms and junior suites, which have much larger beds and are much closer to our restaurant, bar and reception area. Having said that, should our guest's wish to change the rooms due to any circumstances, we are always very happy to help. Everything we do here at The Manor revolves around our guests experience and I am saddened to hear you did not quite enjoy yours, however, thank you for the honest and open feedback, It is with this we can improve our service for yourselves and all of our future guests. Kind Regards
