We held my daughter’s wedding at The Laura Ashley Hotel on the 18th August 2016 and I can honestly say that it was the most outstanding day. From day one of contacting Frances in the Events team, the customer service was outstanding and we were kept up to date throughout the whole process. We were given the opportunity to do... More

I treated my friend to afternoon tea at this venue for her Birthday. We were both really looking forward to it. First impressions, fabulous building on entering attentive staff to direct you to the lounge for our afternoon tea. The lounge where we were seated was lovely the waiter bought over a selection of teas where we chose our tea,... More

I stayed here with my husband on a Groupon Deal for one night. We had a lovely room overlooking the garden in the main house. Exceptional breakfast, but the evening meal was a little disappointing. Lacked seasoning and very small portions.

A wonderful afternoon tea with the family at this truly classic hotel. The room and the service was very good and the food choice at tea was better than than i have enjoyed in the past at 5 star Central London hotels. A combination of warm mini quiches, smoked salmon and cream cheese mini bagels, small granary rolls and sandwiches... More

Well I booked two rooms (superior rooms) one for my self and one for my son and partner who were visiting from Australia and doing a European trip ending here with me in London before returning home. So special occasion. The hotel is lovely and the rooms were lovely to, the staff were very good apart from a somewhat surly... More

We arrived tired and motorway worn. A chilled white wine on the terrace with a fantastic view of London refreshed us in no time.Choice of wines by the glass was excellent. Our room was extremely comfortable and spacious . We soon got used to the delights of the Japanese toilet seat. (One at home might be a treat). We found... More

I wanted to book a large room/suite for one night - but asked the hotel if they could put an extra single bed in the room to accommodate our 14 year old granddaughter, who has Special Needs. She is a mobile, happy, polite young lady and this was a treat to stay with her grandparents in a hotel, to reward... More

I would confirm that the hotel does not discriminate against any type of guest. Your request for a "standard" room was declined on the basis that it would not accommodate an additional bed and secondly the put up beds are not designed for children over the age of 12 years. thank you for your comments which are inaccurate but of... A haven of peace hidden behind the London suburb of Elstree the hotel building looks like an old Tudor manor but is in fact a Victorian copy. This does not mean that it is without some interesting features however, such as the front door from Lewes castle and some old timbers inside that apparently may have originated from ships which...
