Wow, what a lovely cottage! Waking up to the sound of birds singing, fresh air, lots of bunnies running around (a pest for the garden flowers but for me it was a lovely sight to see when they sit up chewing away), amazing red squirrels, ducks, crows, you name it. Robin and Erica are very hospitable and made our stay... More

My friend Clair and I stayed for 3 nights in Pond Cottage over the bank holiday weekend at beginning of May whilst we were doing the Isle of Wight Challenge. Blandings is excellently situated to tour the whole Island, the cottage is beautifully furnished with everything you could need and the area around is just fabulous. Surrounded by a pond... More

Something a little out of the ordinary. This delightfully located B & B is almost a home from home. The bedroom we stayed in was clean and well appointed with every type of tea one could imagine, various types of coffee and a full biscuit barrel. The en suite was fine with a good "in bath" shower and hot water.... More

Quiet, relaxing b and b. Dog friendly. The room was charming, with every thing we needed. Fridge for putting your drinks in, excellent selection of teas etc to choose from, with biscuits as well. Erica and Robin made us ferl very welcome and the breakfasts were excellent and kept us going all day. The room has its own little patio... More

What a wonderful find. Erica and Robin are charming hosts and this is a beautiful idyllic B&B. We booked quite late on an impromptu trip last weekend through laterooms. It is situated amongst four houses up toward the end of the collection of houses and barns. You have your own seperate entrance through the charming garden. Breakfast is an utter... More

We were visiting the Isle of Wight to attend the IoW festival. We had a fantastic welcome from Robin & Erica, who could not do enough for us during our whole stay, which totalled 4 nights. The room was clean, comfortable, well sized, with good facilities (hairdryer, small tv, dressing table, nice toiletries) and with some lovely extra touches (a... More

Blandings is part of a 15th century farm complex that has been lovingly restored by the present owners. The mature gardens, pond, and small woodland is an idyllic haven for people and animals alike. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming or attentive, and we genuinely left there feeling as though we had made new friends. We stayed in... More

We booked the self contained Pond Cottage at Blandings for a weeks walking on the IOW and were delighted with the location. Robin Oulton made us very welcome. The accommodation is comfortable and you have plenty of company with Chickens and Ducks. We even had a Red Squirrel playing next to the cottage. John Lewis supplied most of the cockery... More

This was a short trip to explore the isle of Wight. We were warmly welcomed into a homely atmosphere in this secluded country-side setting. Our (twin) room was very clean and comfortable and opened onto decking and then the beautiful garden. Nothing was too much for our hosts. Breakfast was probably the best we have ever had. It featured local... More
