At this very moment we are in the above hotel on route to the Ferry. Booking in was so simple as I went on line on our way heading North, . On arrival we met the lovely Sophie who spoke perfect English and was extremely helpful and informative. The room very spacious, immaculately clean but a bit cold albeit we have the heating up high. We dined here and the menu was in both English and Dutch fabulous. Sophie was doing all the work in the dining area and was very attentive ,pleasant and efficient. Compliments to the chef for a delicious meal. A big thank you to Sophie for being such a charming person. Would stay here again for several reason . Great parking, area very quiet and having a person like Sophie mad it all worthwhile

Second night of a three night cycling trip 18 of us landed at the Bastion. Having cycled 100miles we were tired. Bit of a fuss checking in but once sorted the beer flowed and that was great. Had to order takeout pizza for majority of riders as the hotel ran out of food! Breakfast next day was super if you caught the omelette cook. Thank you

Stayed here for a night and had a very pleasant stay. The bed was wonderful, the best night's sleep in a hotel for ages and I didn't wake up during the night which is very rare, even when I am at home I toss and turn at night. We didn't eat in the restaurant other than for breakfast which was very nice with a good selection. The hotel is very clean and a very comfortable place to stay.

Stopped long term in hotel found most things as you would expect. Rooms are very dusty and other room doors tend to slam rocking the whole floor. One very bad point is the food. Had a steak in here all i can say is it was an experience i will not be experiencing again

We stayed here while attending a conference in Roosendaal. Place was nice, quaint and quiet. Room was fairly clean except for some top storage shelves which were dusty. Bathroom was very small. Sink was so narrow, I had to almost kiss it to spit out toothpaste when brushing. Shower was small as well and it was difficult to dress after showering. Also, only shower/hair soap was provided. No wash cloth for the shower. Breakfast buffet was very basic for 15 Euro, but still the convenience was a winner for me. Parking was ok during the day, but at night is gets COMPLETLY full and you will not find a parking spot there. It is about a 20 min walk to the city center also. Free Wifi as well as two free drinks. Next year, I will try to stay again just for the ease of everything.
