We arrived and for some not disclosed reason had to wait for an hour near Lugano lake in the middle of nowhere . This was 7 pm , not the regular hour for waiting a room to be available. And , so we were informed, the was no person in Staff to help with luggage. I myself decided that my...

Stayed here for 4 days. The hotel is centrally located. Room was clean and tidy with adequate space for working and storage. I found the bed rather hard but not uncommon in europe. Bathroom was small but adequate and clean. Hotel breakfast was good as was the hotel bar restaurant which serves up till about 10/10.30 in the evening. Also...

Although in Switzerland, this hotel has a very Italian feel: the welcome is casual (and friendly), the downstairs restaurant (indoor and out) is a hive of activity (also among non-hotel guests) and the room comprehensively equipped with a decor that is modern and stylish. The restuarant menu is pasta/pizza-skewed and the breakfast buffet more Italian than Swiss. Prices are reasonable...

We stayed a couple of nights in a family room, and this place fitted the bill perfectly. We wanted to drive in, dump the car and travel into Milan, and it worked fine. the hotel has a parking garage just over the road, and is a couple of minutes from the Bahnhof with S11 into Milan. The staff were friendly...

This is indeed the biggest hotel in Chiasso! Restaurant downstairs is not bad, and is about the only restaurant in the entire Chiasso that opens on Sundays. Breakfast is not bad. Fresh fruits and yoghurts everyday and the wait staff is quite attentive. Hotel rooms are okay. Sufficient for business.

Unless you really have to stay in Chiasso, I would recommend you look for a hotel somewehre else. This town has absolutely nothing to offer apart from sadness. This hotel is the best in town, which says it all. The restaurant serve very basic food. Even the pasta was overcooked. Service very slow and not exactly friendly.

Stayed here a few times now on business. Perfect location for Chiasso as in the town centre and minutes from the Italian border and lake como. Rooms are pretty basic but it's always clean, staff are friendly and the food on the onsite restaurants is really good. Breakfast buffet has loads of choice too. Nice out door bar area too...

This place is ok. It's good value for money and fine to stay at for a night or two. It's clean and tidy. The food is adequate in the restaurant with a good menu. The staff are helpful and friendly. I've stayed a few times and use it as a stoping point when in the area.

Hotel room and bathroom are quite dated but clean and comfortable. I agree with some of the other reviewers that it is quite expensive. The food at the restaurant downstairs was good, we had dinner. Buffet breakfast selection was good but a bit pricey.
