The hotel itself was decent. The room was clean. The staff were nice and spoke English. However, the walls are so thin you can hear EVERYTHING that is going on in the rooms around you. Hair drying, full conversations, people using the toilet. If you want to sleep- maybe find a different place to stay.

Located just outside the town centre beside the river and a number of little cafes. Room was huge great bath/shower and complete with minibar and safe. Bed was very comfy but had my sleep disturbed by noises guests about 1am and again at about 6am but the hotel itself was superb for the money. The staff also spoke fluent English... More

My bottom line for any review is would I visit it again. I stopped her in 2008 and I came back again. The rooms are large and excellent. The hotel services are professional and the staff helpful. And the price is very reasonable. Enough said, if you want to know if you can trust this review, read some of my... More

I stayed at this hotel while traveling through Sarria on the Camino. It was a much fancier hotel than anything we've stayed at along the way, but I didn't like it as much as the other places. The staff were friendly enough but seemed to be used to a higher class clientele than sweating pilgrims. The room was clean, quiet,... More

Good size rooms, everything you need. Coach loads of tourists staying. Coaches start up engines very early outside and could be heard in the bedroom. Handy for walking the Camino. Swimming pool small and you have to walk outside the front of the hotel to access it. Cooked breakfast ok.

Good hotel with decent sized rooms. Bar and restaurant area is quite large and good breakfast in the morning to start the Camino. This was the only hotel of the six we stayed in along the camino to have a hot breakfast option. Staff are friendly. Great to start the Camino route early the next morning.

Apparently this is the best hotel in town, and, well, the rooms are "tired." They are certainly adequate, and in fairness, I'll say that it must be the Spanish economy that has put a halt to refreshing the rooms. (I'll add that the bathroom location/design is not conducive to ventilating that area, and so there is the smell of dampness.)... More

Well appointed and well located hotel. Located on the river it was close to a variety of bars and also a short walk to the historic centre of Sarría and the Camino path. Staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was large, comfortable and had all we needed. Breakfast was generous and well presented. Coffee could certainly be improved.

This hotel was a lovely start to our Camino de Santiago. The hotel was centrally located and easy to find, this was beneficial as we had never been before . Our room was lovely, the staff were friendly. I would visit again.

This hotel is perfectly located and we started our Camino walk from here last week. The 2 female staff at Reception were extremely rude & we were treated like a group of naughty schoolkids. Our room was lovely with a great shower, but we could hear the guests speaking next door. There was a wedding on in the hotel &... More
