I was here with my husband, brother and sister in law prior to doing the Camino back in June 2016. We drove a rental car from Madrid because we wanted to stop in Burgos. As we were arriving to Rectoral de Goian, we realized we had a flat tire. We stopped at a gas station this was at 1:00 am,...

The young couple who own this beautiful old world inn are charming. They have three young children who I so enjoyed watching play in the courtyard. Their gourmet meals were only matched by the Parador in Santiago! Rooms were clean and lovely. We also played checkers in a well appointed gathering room and sat on a balcony overlooking a small...

Loved our stay here. Beautiful location and nice rooms with an old world charm Dinner was fabulous with a great salad, grilled hake and an excellent dessert. Breakfast was quite comprehensive and included boiled eggs, spicy mini sausages and smoked lemon besides the usual offerings. The host is very warm and friendly and makes you want to return.

Our night in Sarria before starting the Camino Trail. Our hosts collected us from the town and delivered us to the hotel where we spent the night. The hotel was amazing such an interesting place full of history. The meal we were served was our best in Spain. Well worth staying here 😍

We stayed here for one night whilst starting the Camino. It is a little bit outside Sarria so we got a taxi. It's in a lovely countryside setting and the rooms were large and comfortable with antique furniture and a rustic feel. The highlight was the dinner, it was some of the tastiest food we had in our trip to...

A great place to stay while walking the Camino. It is more than 10 minutes out of town. Xavier and Racquel are great hosts and they keep the place in great condition. The dinner they serve is excellent using as Many local and organic ingredients. I had read a blog from 3years ago that had raved about the breakfast, but...

The Rectoral de Goian is about a 10 minute ride outside of the town of Sarria. We stayed here while walking the Camino de Santiago, as probably most of the guests who stay at the Rectoral. Beautiful garden, comfortable, updated rooms and fabulous food. Fresh, organic and beautifully prepared and presented by our host. Wonderful send-off breakfast with home-made bread...

This was one of the places we stayed at during our El Camino journey. The accommodation was terrific. The living areas were well maintained and the atmosphere was so warm. The food was excellent. All the food was organic and meticulously prepared. The setting was so peaceful as well.

We stayed here whilst walking the Camino De Santiago. I cannot recommend the place highly enough. Our hosts Javier and Raquel were very welcoming. The dinner they cooked for us was superb and all organic, and the breakfast was amazing, just perfect to set us on our way again. If you are walking the Camino this place is a must.

The owner collected us at the railway station. The rectory is outside of town in some beautiful country side. The room was amazing, clean, with everything you could want. The...

“One of the rooms we had opened to the reception desk and common area. When people were sitting and talking outside we could hear everything. Better to request a room on the 2nd floor (my husband and son had a room right above ours and it was bigger and quieter).”
