The htop Olympic is a nice hotel with good accommodation and any and all facilities you need to make your stay good and comfortable. Its ideally located right opposite the local supermarket if there was things you needed for day trips or walk about in the local town. Really nice place and I would fo again.
Arrived this week and Hotel closed last October. Transfer coach driver was able to make calls to find us accommodation. Doors are locked pool is green. No numbers work that are left on the closed front door. "On the beach and "Love Holidays" still taking bookings. Others arrived on honeymoons, he do's and a single parent we were able to reassure and point them at a nearby hotel that helped us! Please don't travel to this Hotel make your own enquiries.
Stayed here a couple of times, the hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy, and have everything you need. The pool is clean and there are plenty of shaded areas if needed, there is childrens entertainment every day. The food of top class, and there is a large selection so there is something there doe everyone. Will certainly be staying here again.
Ok hotel, but really busy ,meals not to bad but do not except amazing and go earlier because is really busy the restaurant, entertaining at night is top!! during the day there is a lack of engagement bedroom is small but with a good toilet ,not to noisy at night .good swimming pools .
The hotel staff reception are fantastic, the kids entertainment fantastic he deserves a pay rise... kitchen staff the head chief who cooks out front for you he was such a nice gentleman always ade sure there was enough fresh meat cooked, now the young lad who works in the kitchen bringing fresh salad out, naught you didnt know i could speak Spanish and i heard everything you said about that little boy to you're co worker calling a little lad a fat pig is NOT very nice, his parents paid all inc so he could try what ever he wanted, yes thats right im the one that was looking at you with disgust in my eyes that you took the mick out of a little boy... where im from that is called being a horrid bully... The pools are clean... you get what you pay for cheap and cheerful. would i come back to this hotel NO, i dont condone any form of bullying towards children or anyone. rooms got cleaned every day, fresh towels fresh mopped floors, the guest at night very loud and drunk basic seemed an 18+30... items being chucked in the pool at all hours, people having domestics in front of kids. The area very nice the beach ripped our feet apart very crushed shell and stones, reminded me of the grit that gets put on the roads in the uk. lotsof great little shops, careful tho they dont have lucky lucky men they have lucky lucky shops instead, please be careful not to get ripped of in these.…
Pros: - Tasty food - Big choice of meal - Good location, close to Mercadona (supermarket) - Balcony, good scenary view - Clean room - Safe in the room Cons: - Small rooms - Dirty plates and cups - WiFi - bad signal, 1 week = 20 Euro - Safe 1 week = 28 Euro - Quite noisy - Problems with plumbing in one room - Moved to another room also with water leaking. Fortunately it was last day. H.TOP! Do something with your problems!!! Especially with water!
I’ve never stayed at a worse hotel. The rooms were dirty and dusty. The walls were so thin you could hear people talking in the rooms next to you. In the buffet the plates were dirty and the staff were very rude and inattentive. I would never stay at this hotel again. Rooms were also cramped and bedding had cigarette burns in them. They also smelt bad as soon as we got there. The only thing good about the hotel was the location, as it was a short walk from the beach and town centre.
My friend and I stayed here for 5 days at the end of October. The hotel itself was very clean, food was great and staff were really nice. The location is great for anyone who wants to do a bit of exploring into Barcelona as the train station is only a 15 min walk from the hotel and a return ticket is only 10 euros, however the train is about an hour, although you could get all the touristy things done within a day if you left early enough. The village surrounding the hotel is a lovely place especially at night time as it gets very busy around the bars. Staff at the hotel were very helpful with sorting out trips into the city and directing us to nearby locations. Would recommend this hotel to couples looking for a short break late in the year or anyone who wants a budget holiday but still wants to explore Barcelona!…
What can I say about this low budget 3-star establishment? Firstly, it was clean throughout, however the rooms are the smallest I’ve ever seen. Most of the main pool area is in shade till late afternoon. The pool bar snacks are not included in your “All Inclusive” package you have to go to the restaurant for a snack which was basically the left overs from Breakfast or Lunch. In general, the food was poor and always cold never used a Microwave so much in my life. Drinks are drinks and I am TT drinking Diet Coke but when I asked one evening for a glass of water at the restaurant bar I was asked if I was all inclusive. A Glass of Water never have I heard anything so ludicrous in my life. The entertainment was reasonable and the kids had a ball. The Wi-Fi is available at a cost I think it was €20 for the week but I didn’t sign up for it. All in all, we did have an enjoyable week away with the Grandchildren but it had nothing to do with the HTop Hotel. Would I return to this hotel, not if they paid me to!! …
