The website Gomundo dot nl put us at hotel Esplai for 4 nights. The day we were checking out the hotel closed down for the season. This also explained the horrible food we had during out stay. Due to the closure the kitchen was closing down and basically serving some tasteless rubbish. Gomundo dot nl sold this all inclusive deal to us as a surprise deal with location unknown. It turned out to be a real surprise. Informed Gomundo dot nl about how bad the hotel was and they did not have the courtesy to even acknowledge the complaint. Beware booking any holiday with www dot gomundo dot nl Antony

We had a good stay here. Nothing fancy but nice staff and good beds. Olga in the reception was very kind and did all she could to help us. The location is very good; close to the city center and to Mercadona.

We only had a short stay at hotel which was long enough. The hotel is fine for a 3 star, food reasonable rooms clean and tidy no issues, however this hotel Is completely ruined by the ignorant staff who get excited about the 'rules' one guy at the main bar downstairs in the lobby tall with glasses wants sacked his behaviour appalling laughing at people when they don't bring glass back so unable to get drinks which is absolutely pathetic! I did try and find management to raise this and was told there was noone there and we were leaving the next day...thankfully! You are all inclusive however they have this stupid rule where you are given a token at the beginning of the day and you MUST take your glasses back each time for a fresh drink...WHY? You have all inclusive band you shouldn't have to worry about this when your on holiday having fun! Staff are very aggressive which is unacceptable when the people visiting are keeping them in a job. It needs sorting I would never go back thanks.

Arrived at the hotel 2 weeks ago and as we were arriving in our room the floor was flooded with water. Got our room changed but then the key wasn’t working so we had to go back downstairs again! Got in the room eventually & the room was okay nothing special. Then our air condition wasn’t working & there was a guy who came in while we were relaxing around 11am drilling & fitting in a new one which now meant we couldn’t stay in our room! He finished around 7pm! People talking & laughing till 2am which meant we couldn’t sleep! Food was okay loads of options. Staff were lovely.

Honestly read bad reviews when I booked this hotel and thought people were just being abit extreme... No they weren't. When we pulled up on the first night I was like wow its beautiful which it is.. Then it just went downhill. The staff are the most disgustingly ignorant people you will ever meet and I can take ignorant people. The reception staff are shocking they laugh at you, they are cheeky to you, pawn you off, litterally don't help at all. Was willing to pay 30€ for a late check out and was told no it doesn't exist even though the leaflet we got on arrival says so when I said this I was then told just ce back at 8am and see if its possible then but already said no out by 10am anyway. If you have kids don't bring them here because unless you have the world's best behaved kids you'll be shouted at etc my son was running around the pool and went over to the bar and got behind it he is 2 so doesn't know the difference and the bar woman started screaming at me and trailed my son by the arm. Overall the hotel is beautiful but the staff are shocking. Also don't leave anything in your to because the maids take everything we had 2 packets of nappies threw out, cards, boarding passes etc.
