We have stayed many times, always consitent in what it provides. Lovely clean rooms. Reception staff are so pleasant and accommodating. Bar staff take time to get to know you and so friendly. General manager is also super friendly and asks you are. The personal touches make a stay so great Great stay and loved staying again.

Booked this break for husband birthday. I’d already been to Calella so I knew the town and knew it was a central location. The hotel is well kept and we had a lovely room on the 7th floor. Lots of entertainment put on if you like that sort of thing and a great selection of restaurants and bars if you don’t and all a hop away from the beach. Reasonable buffet breakfast with several choices. Buffet dinner too, again with a reasonable selection.

Big clean room and bathroom. Balcony overlooking the pool and sea. Beach and town two minutes away. Helpful staff who were happy and comfortable speaking English. Not much more than an hour away by train from Barcelona. Worth upgrading to all inclusive

After having this holiday changed and moved several times we then got a message 2 weeks before travelling to say Expedia were changing our hotel yet again from Pineda de Mar to the sister hotel (Amaika) in Calella! We didn't have a choice as no other accommodation was available but we were more than happy on arrival as reception staff were very welcoming and apologetic for having to change Hotels and upgraded us to premium rooms with sea-views on the 7th floor. The rooms were very nice with a great walk-in power shower and sunny balconies. I had asked for next door rooms as I was travelling with my parents and that's exactly what we got. The fridge wasn't working in our room and no sooner as I had reported this they came straight away with a new one - very impressed. The food is absolutely amazing with lots of small tapas plates with a variety of Fish dishes, Meat dishes and veggie, salad stations and a dessert station plus a Chef cooking live in front of you every night with Fish or Meat. The bar staff are very good and the drinks are not expensive at all, in fact they are cheaper in the hotel than some of the bars outside. special mention to Kevin in the bar as he looked after us every night. Entertainment was a bit hit and miss but we did see a really good singer in our week here. you have to wear masks if you want to dance and I felt sorry for the entertainment team as trying to police this was a nightmare for them!! We spent a few hours on the beach in the hotels Blue Bar one afternoon and again the staff were great. All in all we had a lovely break and were very lucky with the weather for mid October. The Hotel it in a great position for a short walk into the old town and about 3 minutes to the beach. We would definitely return.…

Spent a week here with my friend Brenda! The hotel is so clean & the staff are so friendly and accommodating! I can’t fault anything about this hotel, close to shops, beach and train station! Food & drinks great, met up with friends old & new and looking forward to going back next year already! Thank you Amaika!

Excellent service and very friendly staff. Hotel is clean and comfortable and has a great atmosphere. Food and drink also of a good standard. Hotel is conveniently located near all the shops, bars and restaurants. It is a stones throw from the beach.

Just returned from a week in the Hotel Amaika with my best friend Pat.We had a great holiday as always.The hotel is always spotless clean & is very covid friendly .The hotel has a great location 5 min walk to the beach & the hotels blue bar & restaurant is great for enjoying a drink.We always go all inclusive & you can enjoy a drink & sunbath on their sister Hotel Callela Palace roof top terrace.There is always a great selection of food & even me that does not eat fish,veg or salad always got enough to eat.I thought this year was the best food ever as I love chicken & they had a chicken dish most days.The beef & chicken stir fry & chicken curry was really lovely.The staff are all amazing,so friendly,accommodating & gave such a great service.The superior rooms on the top floors are all refurbished.Callela is a lovely Spanish town with great shops & fabulous beach & coastline & there is so many places to visit from Callela.We have been coming to this hotel at the same time as the past 14 years & love coming back to it every year.…

So we arrived on the 26th of Sept we are hear for 10 nights check in was great the staff were lovley however the room was not what I expected from a 4*s hotel its very dated and the bathroom shower was unusable due to it being so small so if ur plus size don't count on showering in there the beds were extremely uncomfortable so I had to use the pull out chair mattress on top of the bed to cousin it the cleaners were in every other day the balconeys have quite a large gap from the end of the balcony to were the guard starts so if u have a drink be careful the pool area is very nice and very peicfull plenty of sun beds and chairs and tables so never stryluggled for a seat all the staff bar 1 are so lovley and can't help you enough but like I said all except 1 the older larger man behind the bar is rude and very unpleasant to be around he snatches your card from your hand and bangs your drinks down on the bar like your a naughty child my husband lost his temper with it multiple times because he talks to the women especially like rubbish you do get a hour a day in the spa if your all inclusive and iv got to say it Made this holiday for us just hour away from the hassle of the hotel to just relax in the quite just book in the day before and off you go there is no brew facility's in the room and they don't allow them in the rooms either so I advise you buy drinks for the room or bring a tavel kettle now on to the food its lovley plenty of choice each day the breakfast wasn't to my taste but there is fruit and cereal for them who struggle with breakfast the toaster does take forever tho but even the pickiest of eaters will find something they like at dinner and tea time the snacks are not up to par you have a choice of pre made sandwiches or a burger no cheese just sauce again not what I expect from a 4*s hotel then once to drinks end at the end of the night you are shood off to bed or to a side a room like naughty children so they can clean the tables I did not enjoy that one bit im in a adults hotel I don't need a bed time …

Very nice hotel located 2 minutes from the beach. Wide variety of food including Spanish and international treats. Activities arranged by animators (Chaima, Vendy, Ray), friendly crew in the kitchen (Yusaf, Olga and many others) and helpful receptionists (Daria, Kinga). Located very close to the centre of Calella, a proper place to enjoy the town and surroundings.

The facility is top-notch for the value. The multi-lingual staff is super helpful and the distance from the beach and to the train station is fabulous. For a weekend away from the kids, we couldn't have asked for more. Plus, the private hour in the hotel's spa/sauna was the cherry on the sundae. Thank you for the great getaway.
