Detailed Reviews
Excellent stay at Anfi as always, would definitely recommend. All COVID precautions in place. Apartments are very spacious and clean and within easy access of restaurants and other resorts.
It would have been useful if an onsite restaurant had been open - due to the low volume of holidaymakers, the restaurants in the evening were closed - there are restaurants within walking distance of the resort.
One point that would have increased my scores for the holiday, was the availability of wifi - RCI customers have to pay for wifi and there are no general public areas were wifi is available for free.

+1
As always Anfi offers a 5* experience. Everything is superb, well maintained good sized apartments, great restaurants, bars and the absolute best beach on the island.
Great location for exploring and Anfi make it easy, there are regular boats servicing Anfi to taken you to other parts of the island there is s great bus service on the doorstep which is cheap, regular and easy as Anfi is on the main bus route to Puerto Rico, Puerto Mogan, Amadores, Melonaras, Amadores and La Palma. If preferred Anfi can arrange car hire and theres free car parking.
The only issue I have is that we have to leave 😭

Anfi Beach Club is a top quality resort with very high standards of cleanliness and maintenance; the gardens and grounds are beautiful. The property is right by the beach with easy access to its own area with sun loungers and parasols which you can hire by the day for a reasonable price. It is also convenient for a number of water-related activities to satisfy all tastes.

It’s not at all what we expected.
We owe 2 gold crown resorts and this is not a gold crown. RCI Obviously don’t visit much. When we checked in they said you must not be in your room when the cleaner is in. Obviously. Didn’t tell us they do not clean Wednesday or Sunday. Stood by a sun bed for 45 mins waiting for it to be cleaned. Gave up.
No oven in apartment. Towels changed every 3 days.
Beds just have the top cover thrown over. No straightening of the sheets.
No private beach. You have to pay for a day
If you want to sit on a crowded beach if you want to sit on a croissant beach. And wait ages for it to be cleaned. So glad Iv seen this place.
At least we do own real gold crown places.
Never again.

So the hotel is great, nice location and the beach is very nice however Anfi as a group are a joke.
The customer service is non existent, the only time they are polite is when you are due to pay maintenance fee's every other time they are rude and extremely unhelpful.
Never have any availability unless you book a year in advance and even then you will be lucky to get the dates you want.
The only way you get the dates you want is when you go through a Exchange site as most members book up the best weeks and then exchange them and make a profit.
After 6 years of trying to use the timeshare, I have given up what's the point of having a timeshare you can never use? or have to pay extra to use to get the dates you want all the time? They don't mention this when they sell you this pile of promises that never get delivered. I have 3 weeks in the bank as I haven't been able to use the facilities and have paid over £1400 pound in maintenance for those 3 years.
You try to speak to someone senior you get ignored, there are rumours they are on the verge of going bust, I have checked on timeshare websites, you can now pick up an Anfi timeshare with a 48 year lease for around £2000 - they sell them direct to you for £26k - so please read this and understand the true way they do business.
This is a scam that effectively means you pay a lot of money upfront, maintenance fee's annually for a timeshare you can never get availability for, all coupled with the worst customer service I have ever witnessed.
All for a company that is on the verge of going under. Don't do it ever

Another lovely holiday at Anfi, stayed in Porto Anfi in a 2 bed, 207, which was roomy & spotless with comfy beds & a nice big balcony. The kitchen has everything you need, washer, dish washer, microwave etc & the lounge area has a large table & sofa. We had a nice sea view & we’re not far from the pool. Was much quieter than I have seen it before so sun beds were available all day instead of the usual rush to get one! Pool area is nice with nice comfy loungers & is well maintained, was happy that on this occasion there was no loud music playing!
We visited the Havana Bar twice, the service is horrendous & although there was hardly anyone in we waited ages on each occasion to get a drink! We chose to get a taxi to Porto Rico which works out much cheaper than the overpriced bars & restaurants on the complex, & the service was much better!

Complete scam, tourists I urge you to beware. These reps lurk on Meloneras beach, they come across very charming and will claim you get a free “beach day” as part of a government initiative to make a southern area of the island more popular to families. Stupidly, we fell for this trick and agreed to meet them the following day.
They loaded us into a taxi and upon arrival it slowly started to reveal itself as nothing other than a coldly calculated trick - wanting you to buy into a timeshare on the spot and sign their paperwork. We left immediately.
The experience not only wasted a few hours of our holiday time but left us feeling stupid and humiliated that we fell victim to this elaborate tourist scam.
Please, DO NOT trust these people.

We have been going to Gran Canaria on holiday many years now stayed in different hotels and the opportunity to stay in Anfi came about so we took the family with us this time 5 of us all together we had a lovely 2 bedroom apartment it was perfect in size for us all couldn’t fault it even the cleaner everyday was lovely. The resort it’s self is huge lots of apartments, spar shop on site it’s own water sports , massage and restaurants now this was what let us down Bella Pasta the Italian restaurant was disappointing on ordering focaccia we received a pizza base with a few chopped tomatoes on it and pizzas were average but the biggest let down was Tex Mex restaurant it’s poor my Husband had to send back his burger as it was pink I ordered beef fajitas they came with no seasoning and swimming in oil with onions & peppers not very authentic Mexican food but top marks to the Tapas restaurant it was very good 👍reception staff very helpful as our cards to operate gates & rooms kept not working which was very annoying 👎 taxi into Puerto Rico was €10 each way worth it for the lovely Mogan Mall shopping centre. All in all we had a great holiday at Anfi just really dissatisfied with the Italian & Mexican restaurants .

This resort is first class. Had a wonderful, spacious 2 bed apartment that overlooked the beach and pool that was immaculate. The grounds are very well maintained with beautiful trees and plants and there are even turtles swimming in some of the small pools in the gardens. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and a well stocked supermarket. Cant wait to go back

Arriving at the back of hotel, it looks a bit miserable (local stonework) but don’t be put off! It’s the nicest place we’ve stayed at..the apartment was very spacious, with the biggest bathroom ever, with 2 x 3 meter mirrors. Balcony was huge with 2 luxurious sunbeds (proper thick mattresses) usual table and chairs, and a lovely view of gardens, pool and beach. Unfortunately, no sunbathing possible because of the upstairs overhang. Bedroom had very comfortable 2.5m wide bed and large walk-in cupboard for your empty suitcases. There’s also a large dressing room with 3 wardrobes.
You are given sunbed/swim towels, the most luxurious ever, over 2m in length and a beautiful turquoise colour. Sunbeds at poolside are very comfortable with proper mattresses. The pools have lots of interesting nooks and crannies/waterfalls, great for kids to mess about in. The gardens are absolutely immaculate, each day we discovered a different part. There’s a mini river running through, with ponds full of turtles, including baby ones. All around the edge of the hotel grounds are activity areas, always something going on: archery, deck games, etc. plenty to do. Happy hour 4-5pm.
The area is gated, and it is a one minute walk from pool to the beautiful imported sandy beach, I loved swimming in the sea twice a day.
You can help yourself to drinks in reception area at certain times. The area is spacious, lots of comfy seating.
As this is self-catering, the only downside is lack of choice of restaurants nearby, but there is a fantastic supermarket almost next door, lovely selection of meats, deli, cheeses, fruit and veg, etc. and the apartment kitchen is well-equipped.
Trips worth doing: boat trip to nearby town of Mogan on market day.
