Basic, but clean rooms. Quality of cleaning depends on who have your room, some clean very well, others just stretch the bed and leaves. Outside areas are nice, 2 big pools and normally no problems finding a sunbed, even during periods when hotel is full. We love the location, a little away from everything, but then it's also quiet. Easy to find a space to park the car. Convenient with the small supermarket in the hotel where you can get most of what you need, but it's much higher priced than in the big supermarkets. Beds are good, but not the best quality of the bed sofas. We have stayed 2 times at this place. Last time we booked a sea-view room. I will recomend it, great views and I never noticed the bats everybody is complaining about. There are som cats at this resort (like many others on Gran Canaria), it doesn't bother me, but we saw many times guests bringing the cats into the apartments, so if your allergic and are unlucky you can end up in a room where there has been cats. There are also a lot of stairs so if you can't walk in stairs this is not the place for you We also lost a charger from our room during our stay which is not so nice, but suppose can happen everywhere. We had a great time during both our stays and will probably book it next time on Gran Canaria. Polite, Professional and service minded staff

Really good food, plenty of it. Staff friendly. Room 1013 was high, but quiet and out the way. Hotel clean. My only major problem was the pools were far too cold, I and my children couldn't not go in. After reporting to reception, apparantly lt was 24 degrees. Absolutely no way the temp hadn't changed at all. I wanted a January break in the sun, unfortunately for this reason I couldn't return at this time. Location extremely nice and transport links good. Such a shame marina elite. You could have been the perfect trip

Having need of somewhere to stay for the last week of a month's break over Christmas I had no trouble in finding availability at this modern, but reasonably priced aparthotel complex in an enviable position along the southern coast. Built high up into the hills there were a lot of steps to climb, and this room, number 234, would be no good for those with a disability, or families with buggies and/or small children. There is a lift, however, in the main part of the complex, where the reception area is, so be sure to specify when booking. Each of the two swimming-pools has a bar and seating areas, and there is a beach-bar, but that is not open during the day, only in the evening, where occasionally there is entertainment. There is also free wi-fi by the pools and in reception, but not in the rooms. My apartment consisted of a very comfortable double bedroom with large wardrobe with double mirrored doors, drawer-space and picture-window looking out over the mountain opposite. The sitting-room had a sofa-bed and one arm-chair, a low dresser with flat screen TV showing English, German, Norwegian and Spanish programmes, a coffee table and had double sliding doors going out to a balcony overlooking the sea with a table, chairs and a clothes drier. The staff are helpful and English is spoken in reception. All in all I was very pleased with the Marina Elite and for the money - €63 per day NOT including meals - I thought reasonably priced for what it offered. Confidently recommended.

Went to this hotel on a sc basis but due to location we bought an all inclusive package when there , food was good , but could have been hotter , sadly I only drink wine and they ran out in 3 of the bars ,which wasnt good for me ! Love the cats around the site and loved that they feed and care for them that's so unique when abroad, really enjoyed our week there and must mention that all the staff here are great and Tony on reception is so helpfull
