We stayed in Villa 20 , and what a wonderful Villa , so spacious and clean . Everything you need is in this Villa . It’s a peaceful place and we just felt so relaxed and comfortable . We stayed here 4th-11th Dec 2021 Pros - - Villa have the wow factor - Large rooms - Very clean - very quiet location (perfect for a relaxing week) - lovely beach close by (visit pio pio bar) - Spar shop on site - very well equipped kitchen (double fridge) Cons - - extra cost to have pool heated - no tea/coffee/milk when arriving late in the evening - shower pressure poor

Having worked in the holiday industry and having written many reviews there is only one thing I can say about Anfi Opal.....Unbelievable! We have just returned from the perfect family holiday. We took our daughter and 3 grandchildren, stayed in Villa number 30 and had an amazing time. It all started with a lovely welcome from the lady in reception, she was so accommodating and helpful, she even got us an extra key by changing the lock, nothing was too much trouble. Now for the Villa, UNBELIEVABLE, When we walked in it was like walking into something you see on TV. The whole thing was amazing, the look on our grandchildrens faces was worth every bit of the price (which for 6 people was very reasonable) . This Villa is located next to the first fairway of Anfi Golf Course, the views from the Villa are pretty amazing. A large lounge area, TV in every room, 3 large bedrooms all with en suite, a whirlpool bath and a lovely private swimming pool with comfortable beds and parasols. There was even a washer, dryer, dishwasher and every kitchen accessory, from Pots and Pans to a Garlic Press !!! What a fantastic place for a holiday. On top of all this there was a special offer for Golf for residents...Green fee, Club rental, Balls and a Buggy for 50 euros to play one of the best courses I have ever played. I never mentioned to the Receptionist that I present a radio show in the UK, I will have great pleasure in giving Anfi Opal an amazing review this week. We booked this villa very last minute it was a cancellation and l basically rang Anfi directly and booked over the phone with Veronica. We booked to stay the Christmas week in villa number 20. It would appear some of these villas are privately owned but still managed by Anfi. However number 20 is owned as well as managed by the Anfi group. The villa looked very nice in the online photographs. However the villa looked so much better in reality!! Not often one ever gets to say that about accommodation!! The villa is extremely spacious, airy and immaculate! The kitchen is well equipped - 2 fridge freezers no less! Oven, hob,microwave and coffee machine. Only complaint would be the lack of oven gloves and oven dishes for cooking. The whole L shaped side of the villa looking out onto the pool is floor to ceiling glass with patio doors. Outside there is a decking area with table and chairs and awning and an artificial grass area with sun loungers. There is also an indoor jacuzzi tub in the spacious hall looking out onto the pool area. The three bedrooms are all ensuite, one bedroom had 2 single beds. One slight thing would be that although the mattress on our bed was very comfortable ( I think it was memory foam) the other beds were much firmer and maybe not as good a quality. I like a comfortable bed on holiday!! The villa was cleaned once during our stay and the cleaner did a good 50 minute clean. We loved this villa and would stay here again if on a family holiday. Unfortunately the villas are 2 and 3 bedroomed. No one bedroom. :( I should point out you do need a car its a very quiet, peaceful location. You are not really aware of your neighbours. There are 2 small Spar shops which are a short walk away. However we found a newly opened Mercadona at Motor Grande which is less than a 5 minute drive away. It has a super fish counter. We did our big shop at a Carrefour at the Atlantico shopping centre on the down from the airport, which is just off the main carriageway. The Amadores beach which is nearby is a nice spot and you can walk to Puerto Rico from there. Arguineguin also has a decent walk to the Anfi Del Mar complex. I can't not mention the Meloneras beach which is a must for a long walk! As for eating...A. Gaudi by Patrick in Playa del Ingles is really,really good for a lovely dinner. You will not be disappointed with this villa.…

We had the most amazing time at the Opal Villas. We stayed in a 3 bed villa which had a private pool and a jacuzzi. I haven’t stayed at a villa before and I was worried that I would be disappointed when I arrived but i wasnt at all. The villa is very modern and very clean and had everything we needed. The maid came once over the course of a week and a lady came every day to change our bins. You aren’t over looked by any of the other villas and I hardly heard anyone else around us. The pool Was a perfect size and although we didn’t have it heated it was a lovely temperature. There is a also a spa on site and a mercodona supermarket 5 minutes away by taxi/car. I would highly recommend staying here, it would be also a great holiday for families too. You will have an amazing time and will not be disappointed. I will be returning next year. Just spent a wonderful week in this spacious and comfortable villa. It was equipped with everything needed for a families needs with ensuites to all bedrooms and a communal jacuzzi bath. The outside space and pool were a suntrap with plenty of loungers for everyone. The hotel facilities within a 10 minute walk were also included and there was a shop just around the corner.

What a fab villa , had such a great holiday Very clean . The jacuzzi bath was great fun . The only problem we had was getting the taxis to find the villas . Would defiantly return & recommend to friends

Beautiful villa, fully equipped, with a lot of space and very good planning concept. The pool was warm (it was worth paying for heating) most of the time despite of cold nights. We felt ourselves very comfortable and will come back again whenever in Gran Canaria. It is recommended to have a car. By the way, the villas have a garage in the underground floor. Generally there was nothing really negative, only small critics - we missed the slippers (the floor is quite cold), the personnel who collected garbage was sometimes really loud despite the fact we've advised that our child was sleeping, the were some loud outside works under the windows of our villa and - sometimes - cockroaches, 4 within a week in total, but very big ones😳 The information about hotel facilities partially relates to facilities in Anfi del Mar (15 min away) which was a bit confusing, because it was not specially indicated as belonging to other hotel. Despite of this minor points we definitely give the facilities five stars!…

Excellent well equipped villas with loads of space for all the family complete with a heated pool and views over looking the golf course. Beachs only a few hundred yards away with some excellent restaurants too .

We stayed here as a family of 5 for 9 nights and first impressions were good. Nice spacious villa and all the amnenties you need. We arrived late so had to check in at the hotel reception, who wasn't very forthcoming with information about the area. There were a few problems which were fixed straight away the second day by maintenance staff. However we only had one bed change for the 9 days, although I would suggest ringing reception and asking for more. There was a spar shop no more than 5 mins walk which had all you need. Although their meat section wasn't great. Taxi from the villa to Puerto rico was 5€. Overall a very spacious and clean villa, great value however they are a bit lax on the cleaning front and hotel staff don't seem to care because you are not staying in the hotel. Would recommend staying here for a relaxing break away.…
