Fully equipped kitchen with all amenities you need: stove, microwave with grill function, dishwasher and washing machine, fridge/freezer. The stove was not like at home, but it worked fine, if a bit slow. The kitchen knives were far from sharp so you had to work a bit to cut through the veggies lol. But that's the worst I can think of and that's absolutely nothing wrong with the hotel. The staff is very friendly and there was no problem at all borrowing the pool towels a bit longer after we checked out, so we could spend some time by the pool before it was time to leave. They even provided us with regular towels in case we wanted to take a shower afterwards. The Spar (local store) at the hotel is a bit small and expensive. If you have a car I suggest going to the Mercadona by Las Meloneras which is way bigger and has better prices.…
Anfi Emerald is an excellent resort for a relaxing break. We stayed in apartment 302, a spacious 2-bed apartment overlooking the golf course. The apartments are nicely furnished with almost all amenities you could need (no oven). The balconies are huge & well furnished. The apartment was spotless, bins emptied & cleaned every day. The resort is a little isolated, you need a car to explore, shop & eat out. However, Porto Rico is only a 10 minute drive away, where there are ample supermarkets, restaurants & shops. We arrived after 9.30pm & during check in discovered the restaurant closes at 10pm & the on-site Spar at 8pm. Wi-Fi is 15 euro per week & works well. The car park was free due to the barrier being broken, but ordinarily there is normally a charge.
We have been to this hotel at least 7 times. We are always completely satisfied, we have never encountered any problem. The gym included in the price is more than sufficient and the beach, which is right next to the hotel, is almost empty outside of weekends. The entire hotel, including the swimming pools, is guarded and can be entered with a card. It is more of a hotel for the elderly, you will not meet very "screaming" children. The best are restaurants and bars near the hotel, as well as clothing stores.
The place and the people working at the facilities is just amazing. The time share apartments are great. On the other hand after spending 15+ years with no challenges we just got one of out two weeks because of the terrible lack of service from Vacation Club. They don't answer emails for months and after 30 min waiting on calls you get a voicemail. In addition they mess up your Vacation weeks putting all responsibility to you, and do not take action on their own lack of proceeding requests from their guest. I have two weeks and been a long time satisfied customer but will after this Vacation not recommend to buy a week from Anfi.
Top quality accommodation, luxury infact. Gold Crown resort should really offer free WIFI. Extremely clean room, excellently cleaned by Laticia, every other day. Reception helpful. Resort was extremely quiet. Superb pools, hot tub. Bit removed from main town/areas but only a five /ten minute cab ride into Puerto Rico and the beautiful Peurto Mogan. Difficult to walk to towns due to complex built away up a mountainside with main roads only connecting to coastal areas. All in all a stunning location, peaceful break. We were a family, one 18 one 12, Plenty of pool time. One Spar on site, one restaurant , good quality food and friendly staff throughout. Mainlt aimed at golfers set on side of course. We don't play Golf, it made no difference, a wonderful resort. Be mindful ANFI have policy that RCI memebers can only use their resorts once every four years, No hard sell from ANFI, simply a polite phone call. Good shuttle bus service operated by ANFI. Our safe was broken, repaired the next morning. …
We had a brilliant time at anfi as usual. We stayed in the penthouse this time and it exceeded all our expectations. The one bedroom apartment was huge with an extra sofa bed in the living area and a jacuzzi in the bedroom! A very well equipped kitchen caters for all your needs complete with dishwasher and washer dryer. The outside area of the penthouse which gets the sun all day is completely private with large areas for dining outside, a jacuzzi and 4 loungers and a seated area. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant serves very reasonable breakfasts and meals and a happy hour every day. Anna and her team really made our holiday - the lady herself keeps the party atmosphere going- we had great craic and chats with her and she goes the extra mile to ensure everyone has a good time. Looking forward to our next visit!!…
Our room on the 5th floor (room 503) was fabulous. The balcony was huge, with 2 sunbeds (could easily fit a couple more) and a table for four, it was private and perfect for relaxing and sunbathing. Anfi Emerald is quiet, not like Anfi del Mar, so don’t expect entertainment and shops etc (although there’s a Spar on site for food & drink) it was perfect for time to chill and relax. A spa bath in our bedroom was a blast & a huge shower in the bathroom a real bonus. Good kitchen facilities, good television (BBC and ITV) and excellent WiFi. Not much in the area so again don’t come here expecting to be entertained (apart from the golf course, which is huge - if you’re into that). Fabulous pools and a decent restaurant. Would return again tomorrow!
We had our daughter, son and daughter-in-law with us for the first week, so we had a six-bed flat. Because the young ladies were in need of rest, we oldies took the put-me-up sofa bed in the living room, which was ok. For the second week well be invoicing a matter bedroom complete with jacuzzi all for ourselves. This is a beautiful location with excellent facilities and great staff.
My good lady and i took her old dad over to Anfi Emmerald for a quick weeks break, as ever super relaxing in excellent accommodation and a short taxi ride away from Puerto rico with all the bars and restaurants you could want. Never will i get enough of this place its my heaven :)
The accomodation is the usual Anfi gold standard. The pools are clean and welcoming. The situation is beautiful surrounded by the hills. Good walks available, and a very lovely sandy beach at the coast.
