so where to start after missing anfi for the last few years due to covid we was very excited to be able to come just before Christmas, we arrived on Saturday 17th December and all was looking good until the first evening when we got woken up at 2am with water pouring from the ceiling onto us as we slept. we called reception who sent a serviceman up once he arrived he decided to call reception from the living room phone instead of our bedroom phone therefore waking our children up. After about 30 minutes he went upstairs and switched the water off. Still water pouring through the fan, smoke head, downright in bathroom and the cracks in the ceiling our bed was soaked so I went down to reception to ask for new bedding all the receptionist would give me was a bed sheet and no duvet, didn't ask if we was ok or if we would like another room for the evening or even if housekeeping could bring new bedding up. the time was now about 4am so me and the wife had to attempt to sleep on the balcony without much joy. 9am comes and they decide to turn the water back on in the apartment again without warning us. So obviously water is now flooding through the ceiling once more. called reception a new maintenance man comes up to the room sees the water goes upstairs and turns the water off. Informs us it's a leak from the jacuzzi upstairs. I head to reception to complain and ask for a new room have nearly an hour wait to get through to a manager who was trying to tell me over the phone that the maintenance man has fixed the leak and all will be back to normal and safe to sleep in the evening of the 18th. It was not, water was still coming through the electrics and the ceiling and unfortunately only after realising when going to get dressed all the clothes and shoes in our wardrobe had been soaked. After a while on the phone arguing that it wasn't safe and the bed was wet etc we got offered a room for the evening and would have to wait to see what could be done for us on the Monday. Monday comes the housekeeping was very good and took our wet clothes and washed them (we had to dry them on the balcony though), my new white trainers had got the dirty water all over them looked ruined the maid didnt want to take them unfortunately. Went and spoke to the reception manager who apologised for us not being offered a new room the night of the leak and said she would try get us some compensation and to bring the trainers for insurance perposes. Wanting to enjoy the rest of the holiday we went away and tried getting on with it. I came back to reception on Wednesday looking for my trainers which had been washed and looked better but now feel put of shape. I asked the reception what was happening and the response was the reception manager was waiting for her boss to get back to her. On Wednesday night we got a call from the receptionist who offered us breakfast at one of the anfi restaurants, after speaking to my wife we declined we was leaving on Friday morning and to be honest a breakfast doesn't get us back the ruined night and hours wasted due to having to deal with reception and fighting to get another room. All in all anfi looks lovely the facilities are great and the kids entertainment are unbeatable, the housekeepers are good but unfortunately our holiday was ruined by the maintenance man who thinks its safe to sleep in a room where water is pouring through electrics and the fan switch trips the fuse board and the customer service is shocking I wouldn't recommend anfi anymore.…
Could not fault anything at the resort . Staff were very friendly and helpful . Several on site activities . Excellent restaurants on site as well as at nearby Patalavaca and Puerto Rico ( Mogan Mall ). Overall we had a very enjoyable stay .
Anfi is the best timeshare resort we been to the apartments are outstanding with wrll equipped kitchen, there is nothing you would need that is not there.a few great restaurants on site supermarket. You do get charged for car parking even tho i did read its free but only on road at the entrance, wifi in rooms are not the best they could improve on this.but we had a fantastic week.
Excellent resort from beginning to end. Caters for everything if you want it on site but i would advise getting out to some of the surrounding areas. Hire a car and drive up the mountains for a brilliant day out.
I would like to give a full account of our Experiences at Anfi. In 2018 we we're visiting Meloneras when we we're approached by a guy with a ticket for a prize. We we're ob iously very sceptical cos we knew aboit these Timeshare operations but we went along for the ride & to see what it was all about. When we we're given figures we honestly weren't though we fell in love with what we saw. So we did a deal for a biennial week & stayed for 2 weeks in 2019. The experience is wonderful & we have now upgraded. We are now good freinds with Reps Cristna & Brad. Ww have just been able to come back & relax & tho the people ww have grown to love can't be here being in our home from home makes us so happy after the awful 18 months we've all had. Bless you all & we'll see you again in better times.…
We spent 2 weeks in a junior penthouse suite in early August. With Covid restrictions in place, it felt very different to our previous stays here. That said, it did not affect the quality of our stay. Staff were excellent as usual and made us feel very safe - taking many precautions in relation to cleaning, restaurant service managing communal areas. The views from the balconies remain exceptional - especially the sunset. All in all, another amazing stay. Can't wait to get back soon.
A very good luxury hotel with a large apartment, balconies, beautiful views from everyone. It is a pity that you cannot visit it more often than every few years. There are no threats in the COVID-19 situation.
Just got back from gran anfi, the place is just amazing!its a credit to the management how well its is. Beautiful apartments, spotless everywhere and just fantastic pools and grounds.from staff in reception to lads getting your luggage everyone is so helpful. Been to the complex a few times in the last 10 years and we feel it's got even better! The addition of the ice cream parlour is brilliant! My grandkids really enjoyed it! And us!a place to meet lovely people my granddaughter loved the shows and mini clubs, all I can say thank you anfi for making wonderful memories for me and my family
Love this place. Great rooms and fantastic staff looking after you. Been coming for the last 15 years. You have everything you need on site, Spar a bit expensive to shop in however loads of larger supermarkets near buy if you want to save a few €s. Restaurants on site OK, Bella Pasta our favourite, however once again loads of local restaurants Puerto Rico or Arguinegune. Pools great, beach also very good with all the water sports you would expect. Would recommend
This place is amazing. So clean and no hogging sunbeds ( its not allowed) The staff are great and nothing is too much trouble. Apartments have everything you need so self catering with a family would be so easy I can't wait to go back next year! If anyone is interested I have 1 or 2 weeks to sell the first 2 weeks of August 2020
