O7 Aloe Corralejo Hotel offers spacious rooms at reasonable prices, though guests have called out the need for renovations and enhanced cleanliness. The amenities, including multiple pools, are deemed satisfactory but some areas require updates. The staff's friendliness is acknowledged, despite occasional lapses in service and maintenance.
Its location is favored for being close to local amenities, albeit a short walk from the main attractions. The lively, family-friendly atmosphere is a hit, although the dated decor and potential for overcrowding are points of contention. Overall, the hotel is considered a budget-friendly option that delivers on value.

Some of the negative reviews here are way off the mark, reading them I was terrified of the ordeal I thought my family were going to endure.
We had a fantastic time. Pools were brilliant, every member of staff was friendly and helpful, food selection was great. Fish and meat dishes cooked in front of you, don't get me wrong it wasn't all to our taste, ropey Spanish bacon etc, but the biggest problem my wife and I had with the food was restraint!
Location was great, strolling to a few local shops and supermarket was 10 to 15 mins walk. We walked to the main town and Waterpark from the hotel, approx 30 mins. Reception will always book taxis and be there in a couple of mins if you want them which were cheap and there are taxi stations in all the main areas so easy to get back. Grand Playa beach 7 euros, crystal clear lovely beach
Rooms weren't spectacular but more than adequate and were clean. The cleaner visited a couple of times in our weeks stay and changed towels and tidied up which is what they said would happen.
Safe in room free for a deposit at reception, not a stupid electric one a proper key.
Plastic cup system was a good idea as there weren't cups or glasses everywhere
Don't get me wrong there were negatives hence 4 stars, at night they could have done with a second bar to serve. We were more than happy to play Uno etc by the outside area in evening and didn't need entertaining. There were singers, kids disco and music but I've seen more entertainment for kids elsewhere. Aircon went out in our room on 2 occasions for about 8 hours each time, though we kept the room cool anyway and just kept patio doors shut to keep the cool in. Also take a long hard look at yourselves if you're putting towels on sunbeds at night, you're just selfish leaving them there whilst not using the pool. It was a problem, we got lucky getting them and I suppose you get it everywhere but it is a problem.
We had a great stay though, you can see the hotel is making improvements all the time and they seem to be getting it right.

We had a lovely two weeks at this hotel there are good and not so good things as with everywhere so I will start with the good.
- reception staff, very friendly and helpful. Will do anything they can to help with any enquiries booking taxis getting fresh towels etc. - pool staff, very kind people but also very attentive. They were so good at making sure everyone enjoyed the pool and slides safely and were so kind with the kids. - restaurant and bar staff, worked tirelessly to keep the food topped up and keep the restaurant tidy whilst everyone ate. - swimming pools, cleaned every single day and were spotless the whole time we were here. Not to mention the slides which my 2 kids were never off of! - entertainment, there's a mini disco on every night which the kids loved! The animation team were brilliant with the children and interacted great with them! The only gripe I had was it didn't start until 9pm which was often too late for the kids who had a full on day at the pool or beach or whatever. - bar, there were drinks on offer from 730am until midnight (I believe but we were never up that late!) Alcoholic drinks from 10am. Good choice of options of drinks. -location, close to beaches and shops and restaurants etc. Around a 15-20 min walk or 5 min taxi ride away which costs about €5-6 .
Now a couple of negatives for hotel feedback, however it wouldn't put me off booking.
-rooms, very basic. Ours had a small kitchen area which had a kettle and a hob, but only a few glasses and cups and no cutlery or plates etc or pots and pans so no use for the hob at all. - air con, may as well be non existent. Its very very outdated and needs to be sorted the whole time we had to have doors and windows open which also means I got bitten every night by mosquitoes. - food, so for adults, I think the food was generally pretty good. Good options every night and different themes me and my husband didn't struggle to eat at all in this hotel we enjoyed all of our meals but the same as all all inclusive, it gets a bit samey after a while so nice to break it up in the town for some meals. There's also an Italian on site which is free to use but you have to book it. This is also a buffet but a change from the main buffet. We really struggled with the children's food. Every night was the same hot dogs, burgers, pasta and chips. They did often offer pizza but not every night (obv this could be had in the other Italian restaurant). The breakfast was generally good. Good choice and fresh eggs made and fresh pancakes every day. - cleaning, I would have liked the room cleaned more. In 2 weeks the cleaners came 3 times. We had to ask on a couple of occasions for clean towels and bedding as you can imagine going to the beach etc it's needed. The hotel itself is generally clean and well kept but a bit more in the rooms is needed I believe.
All in all we had a lovely time at this hotel and would recommend to family's looking for a fun holiday on a budget. I recon a week to 10 days is more than enough here as you do tend to get fed up off the food and also there's limited things to do around except beach, the odd boat trip and eating out.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveler reviews.
Like everyone else I was concerned after reading the reviews. A lot of comments on here and other review platforms are what you expect for the price. I feel for a 3 star is a good hotel but for what we paid it was overpriced. For 2 adults and 4 kids across 2 apartment for 1 week we paid 6k, I just felt it was too much for this holiday. If I had paid less I think my expectations may have been a little lower. Overall had a good holiday and if it was a cheap get away I would recommend, or if some improvements are made to justify the price.
Good things; - the staff was super friendly and could see they was always working hard. - I like the fact you could get your own soft drinks at the snack bar. - ice cream always available throughout the day at the drink/snack bar - rooms very clean. I know people previously mentioned cockroaches which worried me: I didn’t see any in the rooms or complex. - the sides was great for both kids and adults. - I liked the singers they had come and performance in the outside area. It was only a few nights during the week. - football pitch was great for kids. - there was some crack titles around the pool area when we arrived but seen a maintenance man who was repairing all these during in our stay. The repairs did not impact our stay. Think it’s great improvements are being made. - toilets around the pool area so u don’t have to go back to your room. - safety deposit box is free! You do pay 10 euros but get this back at the end. - rooms are big and spacious. Cleaners came twice in our week stay. Toilet roll provided, hand wash and a body wash in the shower. - great location for shops, water park and the beach. - they do give you plastic cups for drinks which they do swap for clean ones. I found by doing this the tables and pool area is cleaner by not leaving cups around. Although frustrating to always have them with you.
Where I felt it could improve; - at times they had 1 person serving drinks, and queues can be long. One night we waited between 20-30 minutes for a drink. - we arrived late so shops closed but was provided with a sandwiches and apple, a bottle of water would have been a nice as we had no where to get a drink. - the aircon didn’t work in one of our rooms and was dripping on ur head in the bathroom. - the table and chair on the balcony was broken and needs replacing. - the food was hit and miss so we went out a few nights. Rice always seemed to be undercooked (very crunchy). Some dishes were delicious, such as the pulled pork. Seemed to be a lot of fish dishes so if you don’t like fish you are sometimes limited. This seemed to cause queues in the kids corner as a lot of adults ate from there.
The reason I personally would not return to this hotel is sunbed wars. It’s honestly the worst I have ever witnessed. One night all the sunbeds were gone by 11pm!!! I understand that’s the guests but feel this could be managed by the hotel. At 7am remove any towels put down and only allow after this time? Or even later. Didn’t seem enough sunbeds for the number of guests but appeared to have space to add some.

We stayed as a family of 4 adults for 11 nights in 2 rooms. I will firstly say that this is a 3 star hotel and I will review with this in mind. We weren't expecting a 4 or 5 star experience and so got what we paid for. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel overall is tired in the public areas but clean and acceptable. Pool areas are generally clean and tidy. The evening entertainment area is very gloomy and uninviting with children's disco 8.30-9.30pm and other entertainment 9.30-10.30pm, which was pretty awful. There is no bar area as such at night, just an outside bar with some seating outside the restaurant which can get chilly in the evening as it is uncovered. The hotel was not full during our stay but there was always a queue of people holding their plastic cup waiting to be served at the bar. We were not a fan of the plastic cup. You are given a plastic cup when you arrive and need it to get both soft and alcoholic drinks. Whilst this system reduced need for staff to collect them and stopped guests getting 2 drinks at a time, we also found that we had to carry our cups around or keep going back to the room to fetch them. We also found the tables in the seating areas were often dirty with spilt drinks and straws etc as no staff were around cleaning. All inclusive food is standard fare with a good variety, a bit repetitive but good value for money. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. No frills and again a bit tired but everything we needed. Overall I would say this hotel is better suited to families with young children. Good value for money, but not for us.

After seeing incredibly negative reviews I was very nervous about staying here but I am very pleasantly surprised. We have two rooms (402 and 415) which are very spacious and clean. The air con is brilliant, there is a twin bedroom with comfy ish beds, a bathroom with a functional shower, and a sofa bed in the main room. The sofa bed isn't the comfiest but for ten days it is fine. We are in the more 'modern' part of the resort so we got lucky, yes the apartments are dated but they are perfect for sleeping which is what they should do. All apartments are less than a five minute walk from the pools. There are 7 pools, some as shallow as 0.35 meters others go to 1.8 meters, so perfect for everyone. The pools are very fun to play in, yes they may be cold! The food is very adequate, for an all inclusive it has a variety of foods to eat from chips and salad, to stews and pastas. The food isn't very vegetarian or vegan suitable but as a vegetarian myself I found there was a range to eat. It also isn't very allergy friendly but all foods are labelled and the reception is more than happy to help. The night entertainment could be better but the mini disco was good for the children in our group and the highlight was the brill gustavo dancing in shark suit. The location of the hotel is a tiring walk to town (25 minutes) however taxis are around 5 euros and the walk is flat. For an all inclusive it has exceeded my expectations, lots of moaners may put you off but it is a great family holiday and I can't wait for my remaining 5 days! We may have got lucky but I'm very impressed so far!

Just returned from a week’s family holiday here (58,57, 27, 26, 13, 5, 3 & 2).
Arrived late evening & were given bags of stale sandwiches & fruit as the restaurant was closed. Paid 10 Euros for use of the safes in each room which were refunded on departure.
We were given rooms on the first floor overlooking the slides pool. The first thing that hit us as we entered our room (226) was the stench of drains. It was foul. The air con didn’t work in our room but maintenance came quickly to get it working. But for the whole week it continually dripped water all over the floor. We had mountains of towels scattered to soak up the water.
Both rooms were of a good size but very tired. We were lucky to have maid service every 2nd day but this wasn’t consistent across the hotel. Towels were changed but questionable as to whether the beds were. The balconies were a fair size but the patio table on our balcony was unusable; it was absolutely filthy.
The food was mediocre to poor. We all did manage to find something for breakfast. It would’ve been nice for children to be catered for at lunchtime chicken nuggets and fish fingers regularly on offer. There wasn’t much variety at all & food was of pretty poor quality. Despite being all inclusive we chose to out at various restaurants in Corralejo on an evening.
Pools were tired as well and we didn’t actually see them being cleaned during our stay; did see a man checking the chlorine levels though. Lifeguards need to be consistent with regards to letting children down the slides too.
Staff were friendly and courteous but were let down by the purple haired lady in the restaurant who was quite sharp and rude to us and others.
The hotel needs to be drastically improved to be worthy of 3*.
The use of reusable cups given at check in were a good idea. The kids loved their holiday but it’s not somewhere we’d return to. If you want cheap & aren’t too fussy you might be satisfied though.

stayed here at Easter pools were freezing cold. even though stated they are heated. food wasn't the best, have to go early to get hot food, they love olives in all rice pasta dishes. so picking them all out wasn't fun. the hot tub in the pool was never on and that to was cold. slides had only opened the week before we arrived, so that was a good thing for my youngest. the older life guard was great , asking the younger kids if they could swim before they went down the slides and where the parent was sitting. as he told two young children with armbands on to go get the parents as they had let these little ones go off on their own from the other pool.one of the younger life guards was more interested in his phone than watching the kids on the slides. the snacks on an afternoon was terrible. hard bread ham and cheese sandwiches, a small bowl of fruit, hard croissant's , and mini cold hot dogs with buns. nothing was covered up so the birds had a field day flying in and out pecking at the bread. Entertainment was poor, so we ended up going for walks on a night after tea. the gym is laughable in a shed out the back with 1 item and a few weights. receptionist wasn't that helpful at all, as we arrived late i asked if there was any chance of a bite to eat or drink or some fruit that was visible behind the reception desk. was told "no". The cleaners seem to pop in randomly, they had already been in once on the morning , and came back for some reason on the afternoon, just as well we were in as my son had left his headphones on the bed on the morning. the room was basic to say the least, no aircon in the bedroom, just in the main living area where the tv is, you get a fridge that is empty, a kettle cups and glasses, so you cant even make a drink .. they don't provide you with tea coffee water. so what is the point of the kettle? especially when you arrive after midnight. kids club is laughable, i asked what was on and she said it depended if any kids turn up.. for the first few days you could get slushies for free, then the following day my son got told that it would be 1 euro for them. also they charged for tea and coffee at the outdoor bar. when the coffee machines where off. not very all inclusive.. the only good things about the hotel was the slides for kids, and that the drinks machines where turned around so you could help yourself to a drink, so it saved on waiting in queues at the bar. the waterpark is about 20 minute walk up the road, which we discovered was closed when we got there, apparently they close 2 days a week, this may change in peak season. be aware that you do get charged when you hire the rings i got 3 and it was 30 euros. you must keep your receipt or you wont get half your money back. Music square is good, the live music is great, and plenty of shops to look in. corralejo its self is beautiful, but i wouldn't stay here again.

Was very apprehensive about going to 007 as the reviews were not very good. Normally my husband and myself would go to the carribean at 5star adult only.Being as we were going with our adult children and 3 grandchildren aged 8,5 and 3 this was more appropriate and affordable.we had great flights ,transfer was spot on and when we arrived were told go straight to dinner before it closes .The food was good and still plentiful and hot even near to the end of service.Beer wine sangria and soft drinks were on tap to help yourself. We were in the premium section so can only comment on this ,our room was spacious ,a huge bed ,sofa in lounge and a good size bathroom with a shower over the bath (shower could have done with descaling )but still fine . We had our room cleaned every other day ,with linen changed every 4th day, although my young grandson slept with me one night and had an accident,I found a housekeeper asked if I could get clean bedding and I would make the bed myself who wouldn’t hear of it and stripped and remade my bed even though we weren’t due for clean bedding There is a small pool in this section which is great for young swimmers ,the lifeguard Manual was an absolute diamond cleaning the area and really caring about his job, some of the younger lifeguards did just spend the whole of their shift on their phones. We were served at the bar her by Maryam who was always cheery and helpful, bringing fresh fruit and nuts to everyone On the morning of my 60th birthday I walked into breakfast to be greeted by balloons banners and bubbly with a beautifully set up table They also organised a birthday cake for me .I felt very special and blessed The Italian restaurant makes a nice change ,you have to book but can go as many times as you want if there is space. Is there room for improvement yes opening another bar at night and maybe a bit more entertainment Is it 5 star no, Does it claim to be no Is it a good 3 star yes Would I return no ,but only because normally do adult only Would I recommend it to families most defiantly Thank you for the memories U

This isn’t the 4 star rating I was expecting having always gone by reviews and trip advisor ratings when picking a holiday. As all the other people have written, the staff are fabulous friendly and do go the extra mile, however there are not enough of them, and you can tell where the hotel has tried to make cut backs to save money in the staffing department, such as one bar person to serve the whole hotel leading to excessive queues. People have spoken of the cleanliness of the hotel, however during the week away with family, not once was the sunbed area by the pool cleaned properly other than being swept. My granddaughter spilt a hot chocolate on the stairs one morning, it remained cleaned for the rest of the week. We saw lots of brushing but no mopping. The food was not great, breakfasts and lunches were ok ish but I’d recommend going out for your evening meal. Often there was no meat left, the hotel couldn’t keep up with demands. The meat that was on offer was cheap cuts such as lamb chops which were more bone than meat or pork that was more fat than meat. We never saw any beef or chicken breast. We were also a family of 7… so sitting together was also problematic. There was an Ala carte restaurant, which was much better than the main Buffett however we didn’t know about this until the last but one night. The pools were cold, however it was a welcome relief from the heat and the grandkids loved the slides and the baby area, but as others have said, put your towels out after 11pm otherwise you won’t have one… we were setting our alarms for 7am the first few days and struggling to get a couple of beds with a parasol until we got talking to other guests. Big shout out to all the staff for their hard work, but this hotel is in desperate need of some money being ploughed in to it.

Family of 5 just back from an 11 night stay at the 07 Aloe. Had a lovely time. Check in was very efficient and luckily our rooms were ready upon arrival around 2pm. Staff are very friendly and hardworking, especially the cleaners and restaurant staff. We had two rooms and both were quite large, bright and clean, with lots of storage and a safe box. The pools are great, one with slides the kids loved and the entertainment staff try to get everyone involved with various activities including aqua Zumba, crazy bingo, water polo, etc. All-inclusive soft drinks were self-service at the poolside bar and there was never a large queue for alcoholic drinks, snacks and ice creams. The restaurant is quite large with plenty of space between tables and we never had a problem getting a table. The food was great with a good choice of hot / cold dishes, salads, fruits, breads, deserts, great tea and coffee machines . The drinks were self-service in the restaurant including soft drinks, beer, wines, sangria etc. There is also a nice Italian restaurant that requires pre booking that we used twice. Can't really comment on the evening entertainment as most evenings we went into town. The bar did get very busy though in the evening with a large queue so perhaps more bar staff would be helpful. There is a small arcade for the kids and two nice pool tables as well as a small outdoor kids play area including a volleyball court and small football pitch.
The location of the hotel is on the edge of town opposite the sand dunes. There are a few shops / bars within a 10 minute walk with the main town / old town about 20-25 mins or taxi approx. 5 euros. The closest beach is about 10 minutes’ walk but is very rocky and with no shade apart from a nice beach bar (The Sunset Lounge). The town beaches are small and get very busy, the best beaches are close to the two large hotels you can see in the distance from the front of the hotel. The aqua park is about 15-20 minute walk. The town itself is lovely, especially the old town with a very chilled vibe, lovely tapas, bars, restaurants and music square with a live band every evening. The newer part of town has lots of shops including a modern plaza and numerous restaurants.
There are a few negatives including the dreaded sunbed saga. It seems you have to play the game and reserve them before going to bed or you won't get one! This is wrong in my opinion but the management don't seem to enforce their own policy. Some of the communal toilets could do with a refurb and locks on the doors please in the gents! and some other parts of the hotel could do with a tidy up but all in all it's well kept and looks like the new management will continue with improvements.
