4 of us visited in October and the changes, due to C....19 are very significant..We had booked 3 Premium rooms but that area is now completly closed. We had been advised of this by Thomas,Guest Services Manager, 3 days earlier and did have the option of cancelling. The new Premium area is up by the spa. Not perfect but acceptable. All meals are now taken in the Rambutan restaurant. There were only about 80 guests but all the staff whether animation, restaurant ,maintenance or front desk did their very best to make the stay enjoyable.Still love the place and can't wait to go back.
We have just arrived back (28th Aug) after 2 weeks in Fuerteventura and now need to self-isolate. (Johnson Family). Our stay was fantastic and the services delivered by the staff in this hotel (under very difficult circumstances) were first class. We understood before we arrived (as we had done our checking) that the worldwide pandemic would mean that some of the facilities would not be available and we accepted this knowing that our experience would be different to what you might receive in normal times. This Hotel made us feel safe and secure and the staff were always happy to help with anything that was required. We felt lucky to able to travel as a family together (especially with elderly parents in their 80's) into an environment that had been adapted to cope with the restrictions being imposed upon it. Well done to the Hotel Suites Fuerteventura Resort!! and thank you for a wonderful stay - your holiday is what you make of it after all and you certainly supported us in enjoying ours.…
I booked 2 weeks at a hotel I have been to twice before, once with a family once in the premium junior suite, after suffering from a severe brain injury I was advised to take a break to try and calm my anxiety! This doubled as soon as I got to my room, Queen sized bed? 2 singles pushed together the only premium things about the room and cheap pair of slippers and beach bag and a bath robe you could borrow, air conditioning only available in lounge so nights were uncomfortable tv in bed? Make sure you go to the loo beforehand as you have to either move the telly or breathe in, food not upto previous standards and trying to get a drink! Last moan the in room fridge, quite important for me that it works (insulin needs to be kept cool )after 2 days I went to get a new dose and it was warm! Definitely not a premium junior suite even the nice lady that took away the damaged table told me junior suite no premium! Holiday companies need to let people who have booked premium it is not available! This holiday has left me broken 😡…
Arrived at hotel reception small had 15 min wait to check in - gained access to room safe, air con and tv did not work spoke to reception after another 10 min wait but all were resolved quickly. 1st week wasn’t ideal in our room as we had a young group of lads above us and us being a young family loud noise till early hours is annoying. Surely young groups should be put over the other side of the hotel especially not above young family - poor planning! Breakfast is extremely busy if you get to breakfast before 8:30 you will find a clean table of u get to breakfast after 9 you have to wait on average 10-15 mins for a table and that will be dirty as not enough staff to clean them. Drinks queue at breakfast is ridiculous only 1 bar open serving juices and water 20-30 people in the queue on average. Lunch is ok at the pool bar fast food but once again this is the only bar open throughout the day so be prepared to wait for ur drinks. Dinner - not much variety compared to other hotels no queues as a lot of people go out for dinner. We stayed 12 nights and ate out 9 times as 3 times the food was very average. Around the pools are nice altho the hotel is just not cleaned. We sat round a pool where the bar was closed and on top on the bar were around 30 glasses grouped together and they were sat on the bar for 6 days. Toilets closed to dinning area none of the locks worked on the disable or gents toilets. Overall I’d give this hotel max of 3 stars not enough staff in the hotel for a start and most of the staff have very limited english especially the lifeguards. I know it’s a difficult time at the moment but I don’t feel this should be an excuse for hotel not being cleaned everywhere. Possible with more staff the hotel will be cleaner more bars will be open. Area is good the strip is great and the restaurant in the square are lovely, great food, wine lists are good and very reasonable. …
I know we are in COVID times but this is ridiculous! The Hotel information online still shows: 6 restaurants. Actually there is 1 restaurant and 1 snack bar available. (Unless you’re Premium Club, adults only). 3 poolside bars. There is 1 available. Free shuttle bus. There isn’t one. A taxi to the beach for a family of 5 is 12€ return. 8 outdoor pools. There are 4. Nightclub. Closed permanently. Entertainment theatre. Closed. Free wifi. Totally useless you get it in one or two places if you’re lucky. Definitely not in Rm 4223. Laundry facilities. Not available. Tea/ coffee making facilities in room. You guessed it No. Deep soaking bathtub. No King size bed. We had two singles pushed together. Only one hotel bar open at nighttime and none anywhere nearby outside the hotel. Its a bit in the middle of nowhere. We emailed hotel in advance to ask what was open or closed for COVID. They didn’t reply? I wonder why. They seem to have had a good reputation before COVID and to be honest they’d have been better to stay closed. Instead they’ve failed in most areas and are now getting bad reviews.…
