Check in was painless. Friendly staff, service with a smile and answered any questions. Room 1073 was clean, nice bathroom shower. Kettle and fridge. Take your own teabags and milk etc. Food was great in buffet. Plenty to chose from. Italian themed restaurant very good. Have to book. Great service and food lovely. Country grill fabulous. Book also. They have lovely snacks at lunchtime as well as cake in the afternoon. Barstaff very good and friendly. Plenty of sunbeds. Lots of activities to do
Hotel is lovely but very isolated. It’s not what it’s lead to be for location. Local town €7 euros. Food is ok but same everyday. Microwave and kettle in rooms. Swimming pool at this time of yr is freezing 🥶.!! There is entertainment every evening. Staff are great. We are on day two with no luggage. TUI never sent our things, and having to wait for them to locate & send. Rooms are very spacious. House keeping 5 days a week. Music by the pool to. Hotel is worth it’s money but would recommend earlier in the yr and quite cool at times. Few English channels on tv if you wish to watch. Local shop expensive but carrafour is English equivalent to Tesco 8 min walk. & cheaper than one on complex. Our apartment has big shower, two bedrooms bath & 2 tv’s. Wouldn’t come back to sa coma as there’s nothing here apart from complex. No local bars or shopping unless you get a taxi to calla millor where there is plenty of bars and shops…
Great place overall but we are all cold as you are sat outside at night with a coat on, if you have brought one. Indoor bar closed. No heating in the room, air con only blows cold air. This makes it a miserable stay to an otherwise great hotel.
My partner and I had booked an A La Carte meal at the ‘La Fontana’ restaurant on the evening on 1st October. The food was very good, my partner and I enjoyed every bite of our meal and the experience of the meal was made so much more enjoyable thanks to the attentiveness and manners of the two servers working. Their names were Andres and Elsy, and they were both absolutely fantastic. From the constant communication regarding our food, drink and generally their obvious professionalism in their teamwork. I could not say enough for these two incredible workers. They made a meal of great food that much better with their service. Will definitely try going again if we can.
Just arrived back from a weeks stay here & overall we had a great stay. The hotel was great, everywhere was clean & tidy, the grounds were all well taken care of. The layout of the hotel is nice with 2 large pools, further to the back you have the country grill which is a snack bar through the day & Mexican at night which you book in advance. To the rear of the resort is the La Reserva ‘waterpark’, its nothing like a water park just an extra large pool with some kids fountains & a slide, but it was a good place to hang out & felt a bit more themed than the regular pools. This needs booking on the morning but is currently free. The resort has 2 18 hole mini golf courses which surprisingly are very good courses to say its free at a hotel ! Food - Food was generally good & didn’t have no complaints, its up there with what you’d expect at a good hotel in Spain. I wouldn’t say theres an endless choice like some reviews on there but i don’t think anyone would go hungry here or need to eat out. There is a wide range of desserts & cakes which i’m sure everyone would love. If you’ve ever been to a Riu hotel in Mexico for example this isn’t on that level so don’t be expecting 5 star food. But this was one of the best i have had across Spain ! I think everyone will enjoy the food here. The tea, coffee & juice in a morning was very poor though so i would pack your own tea & coffee then use the hot water. Tea is weak & the coffee is more of a hot chocolate taste. Orange juice is sour. Bar drinks - Was happy with what was on offer, i’ve been to resorts where they skimp on the drinks & taste watered down or are served in small cups. This wasn’t the case here drinks tasted great, served in large paper cups by the pool and tall glasses by night. Lager on offer was Estrella which was very nice served in pint glasses. I got 3 drinks per person with no problem. During the day they have a chest freezer at the bar to help yourself to ice creams & cornettos which was good too ! Entertainment - This is where it was a let down, kids entertainment was ok nothing special same repeated songs night after night & the hotel entertainment crew look like they just got picked out of a competition. Adults entertainment was extremely poor, there was only one half decent show which was the Jersey Boys, the rest was awful ! Friday night was Top of the Pops, people was walking out left rig by & centre within 30 minutes it was so boring ! They need to improve it massively here to keep the adults entertained Rooms - Rooms were very nice & clean. We stayed in the apartment room 2 beds & a sofa bed. It was more than adequate for a comfortable stay. Also you have a large fridge, microwave & kettle in the roof. There is a safe but you pay for this. Bathroom was nice & the shower very good ! Bike hire is free and i recommend this to get out & explore. Huge choice of bikes on offer and you just leave a 10 euro deposit that you get back on return. There is a dedicated bike lane running all way down the coast so it is an easy ride & very scenic. No problems at all for sunbeds, plenty on offer at all times of the day even in prime locations. Didn’t see many people reserving them without been there either which was good. I feel this hotel caters more to the German holidaymakers, in my week stay i came across 2 english people. The entertainment team mostly speak in German along with some songs they play. Also another note i’ve never met more ignorant people than Germans, regularly pushing into ques at the bar or dinner hall, no manners towards staff. Was actually told to F off by one because he was asked to join the back of the que. I would come back here because it is a good resort but with some niggles, but if they were changed this could be a fantastic resort ! Although it wouldn’t be my first choice if it was up against other hotels.…
