Hotel THB Sa Coma Platja comes highly recommended for its pristine cleanliness, with guests consistently commending the daily upkeep and recycling efforts. While the all-inclusive offers are seen as valuable, some guests feel certain amenities, like sunbeds, come with steep additional costs. The vibrant atmosphere and diverse entertainment are often highlighted, although a few visitors suggest certain areas could use more ambiance.
Reviewers are generally impressed with the well-maintained facilities and the scenic and spacious rooms. The staff's friendly and efficient service garners frequent praise, as does the hotel's prime location close to the beach and local shopping, despite some remarks about nearby budget bars.

Just returned home from this lovely hotel a stones throw from Sa Coma beach.
The suites are so spacious and modern with two TV’s, one in the living area one in the bedroom. There’s air con, a kettle & a hairdryer so no need to pack one, the mini fridge is handy too. Housekeeping were around everyday to make the beds, empty bins & replace towels. The huge balcony had sunloungers (only on first floor) table & chairs overlooking the beach & pool.
The restaurant always has a great selection of food and chefs always happy to cook fresh e.g omelettes & pancakes at breakfast & Steaks, chops & meats for dinner. A lovely salad bar & fresh breads were well stocked. There’s an Italian area with pizzas & pastas. Traditional Spanish paella. Great choices of fresh fresh fish & vegetarian options.
At lunchtime you can choose to dine in the restaurant or poolside bar. You are limited to things like burgers, hotdogs, pizza & chips at the poolside but it’s all freshly cooked to order. There is something for everyone, you would never need to go hungry.
The pool area is spotlessly clean and well kept. Plenty of sunloungers, no need to put down towels (the hotel supply them too, free of charge).
There is little amount of entertainment, a young girl was doing aqua aerobics but it’s tricky because the pool is very deep. Some music or screen on for sport in the bar in the evenings. Probably could’ve done with a singer a few times a week to liven it up a bit but there is a karaoke bar just behind the hotel opposite main entrance if you like that kinda thing. Suited me on this occasion because I wanted a chilled out holiday.
The beach is accessed through private gate. There is a cost to hire sun beds on the beach but worth it as the beach is beautiful.
Finally, gotta mention how friendly all the staff were especially Claire in the bar, they all work so hard.
Would highly recommend this hotel and book again for a return visit 5*****

Lovely hotel, lovely people, receptionists are very helpful, polite and smiling. The room is spotless and modern, so cosy and comfy, the food is amazing, everyone will find something delicious and if you still are not happy there are the usual pasta, chips and burgers …The hotel is positioned 10 min walk from the sea, can’t ask for a better holiday. The sea and the beach all clean, beautiful. I also have noticed how clean Sa Coma is, it’s unreal, there are no rubbish anywhere. It is a quiet town, perfect for families, few bars and restaurants, nothing exiting but you can get a taxi 6 euro to the next town with famous Havana Club.
The hotel is perfect for families with children, also for couples if you wish to relax without banging music from the clubs and drunk kids.
I have to mention the shower in my room I’m giving 5 stars, nice, clean, hot and the pressure is perfect.
Bring some euro in coins, you will need as a deposit for cups.
And enjoy, you will love it :)

We stayed for seven days at this hotel 3rd-10th September. From the moment we walked into the hotel we were very impressed by the lobby and the beautiful fragrance. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and checked us in quickly.
We had a junior suite with a twin bedroom, a sitting area with a convertible settee which could be used as a double bed, a bathroom with an over the bath shower and a balcony overlooking the pool with a sea view.
The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness, our accommodation was pristine on arrival and was cleaned to the same standard every day for the seven days that we were there.
We booked on a B&B basis so I can only comment on the breakfast selection.
The choice of fresh fruit, tinned fruit, various dried fruits, fruit juices, cereals, breads, cheeses, cold cooked meats, hot dishes, made to order omelletes and pancakes plus a good selection of pastries was available each day and we could wash it all down with tea, coffee, hot chocolate or Cava. The choice and quality of the food was excellent.
The pool and sunbed area were swept and mopped daily. The pool itself was extremely clean and there was always more than enough sunbeds. No need for early morning trips to get a towel on a bed - pool towels were provided in the room.
At the back of the hotel is a small road and then you're on the beach. A small but very clean blue flag beach with a restaurant that has a really good choice. I opted for the sardines which were delicious. We only spent one full day there because of the cost of sunbeds and sunshade - €35 a day. After that, being so close to the beach we just walked there and had a swim and then returned to the hotel.
There are plenty of good restaurants within fifteen or twenty minutes stroll, some of which are just six or seven minutes away.
Only two negatives. The hotel entrance is located on the opposite side of the building to the beach and is set amongst supermarkets and low quality shops which doesn't do the hotel justice.
The other negative was the entertainment during our stay. There were three evenings with entertainment provided. A guitarist who played a number of tunes, none of which we recognised, and his attempt at singing was pretty abysmal. Then we had a Bee Gees tribute act, consisting of a guitarist and a singer, who managed to mangle most of the songs they attempted. Finally we watched an acrobatic act who was pretty good at what he did albeit somewhat repetitive.
We must comment on the wonderful hotel staff. All, regardless of station, greeted you with a smile and cheerful hello. They were happy to help with any request, and gave the impression that it was not just a job, and were pleased to be part of your holiday experience.
Overall we had a lovely seven nights at this hotel and will happily return.

Arrived for 10 days in July, first impression clean, modern and friendly and it stayed that way until we left. I saw a previous review which said it wasn’t clean by the pool but I found it spotless, never saw the actual pool being cleaned tho.
The downsides… All Inclusive… but not.
Drinks… cocktails consist of a cocktail of the day, all others I was told ‘you pay for them’. I realise branded spirits are chargeable but you can make cocktails with local ones.
Tea/coffee facilities… on arrival the room had 4 coffee sachets, 2 sugars and 4 teas… 3 were peppermint and a carton of water, no milk!! , these aren’t restocked buy your own at the Spar opposite. I found it unbelievable that something all decent All Inclusive hotels provide wasn’t done here.
Room maintenance.. beds were made and floors swept but in 10 days no evidence of a towel change.
Food, what there was was well cooked and dining room staff were lovely.
Best bits … friendliness of staff.
We have spent AI holidays where AI meant All Inclusive.. sadly this fell short.

Good morning Den55uk and thank you for your reveiw, As you can see in the description of the service in brochures and web pages, the all-inclusive includes all local alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, coffees, beers...etc and "a cocktail of the day". Obviously it is an operational issue and nothing to do with cost. The idea is to have the base ready to speed up preparation and thus minimize customer waiting times. Four hundred customers with a 20/30 cocktail menu are many possible variables that affect the service and make it practically unfeasible. However, you are right that an offer of just one cocktail/day is not enough, because if you don't like the ingredients, you will run out of Coctail, so starting tomorrow we will expand the selection to two cocktails of the day. Even so, in general, and if it does not coincide with the work peaks, we are not opposed to preparing any cocktail on the menu for all inclusive. Regarding water, it must be said that we try to eliminate the individual packaging of all products, not only due to regulations, but also out of conviction and for a purely ecological reason. The tetrabrick is a courtesy service that we put in the room on arrival in case it is a late or night check-in. We serve water in the bar/dining room from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and outside these hours there is a machine in the Lobby Bar that provides the service free of charge. Finally, we change the towels at the request of the client. If they are on the ground they are changed. If they leave them hanging, we understand that they want to continue using them, as the information available in their Suite says and only for environmental reasons. Thank you very much for your contribution and for your assessment of the service.

The first week of our stay was good but the second was a complete nightmare. Smokers moved in next door and smoked non stop all day long. Never left the room. Aircon connects all the rooms together, sucks the air in from one room and spits it out in the others. Especially our child’s room stunk like an ashtray. We informed the reception and asked them to investigate, As we first didn’t realise where the smoke was coming from, but the hotel never did anything about it, never confronted the offenders, never investigated, as they all are heavy smokers themselves and were completely on the smokers’ side. They even more or less told me to get lost as there was nothing else to discuss. Jet2 rep didn’t want to know either and referred us back to the hotel. we were left suffocating and chocking on someone’s stale nasty smoke stench. To make things worse a faire landed just outside of the hotel and was blasting music till 4am every night for the rest of our stay. I even recorded the noise on my phone with the balcony door open and closed. Made very little difference. We couldn’t open the balcony because of the noise at night and couldn’t breathe thanks to the lovely considerate neighbors next door and staff who would defend the smokers’ rights with their lives. Left us feeling disgusted traumatized and let down. I would not recommend this hotel at all to families with children and non-smokers.

This was my second visit to THB Sa Coma in 2023. The first time was in May when the weather was quite disappointing because it rained for all but 2 days of the 8 that we stayed. Fortunately, September was a very different experience weather wise with beautiful sunshine up to 29 degrees on most days with an occasional overcast portion of the day or a sprinkle of rain.
Our Junior Suite had the most amazing view of both the Harbour/Sea and the mountains to the left from the sixth floor. The bedroom was very spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool area. The bathroom had toiletries provided by the hotel with fresh towels daily & a pool towel supplied also. This is a real luxury negating the need to bring a towel when packing.
We utilized the all inclusive package for our meals and drinks. The food was delicious with a large variety to suit many European cultures at each meal. A microwave was available for those who wished to enjoy hotter food that the majority.
I particularly liked the show cooking which was available at breakfast in the form of freshly prepared omelettes, Lunch/Dinner as fresh fish (1/2 varieties), meat option, vegetables & a fowl (chicken/turkey) option. These were in addition to pasta dishes x 2, piazza x 2 varieties, at least 7/8 other main course dishes. Each day had a theme which was representative of the country or the cuisine of the day. Three varieties of Wine were available as well as beer at both Lunch & Dinner. The staff are very helpful and recognized us from our previous stay.
Each day there were two cocktails of the day, mostly made with Vodka. However, we were able to modify them to add our favourite tipple. Premium drinks and cocktails could be purchased if desired at 50% discount on the normal cost if you were all inclusive. The local variety of most drinks was very acceptable and tasted fine when a mixer was added. Coffee & Tea were available at the pool bar during it’s opening hours. There were some books and magazines left by other guests in various languages to read which was very useful.
The hotel is very committed to recycling with various bins available beside the lift on each floor and beside the pool area. In this area there is also a Pool table & Ping Pong for guests to enjoy. The entertainment was held outside most evenings when it was available which was every second night. I particularly enjoyed the International singer from the Wednesday night. She was very enthusiastic and motivate the audience to join in with the singing, applauding even inciting some people to dance.
There was a plentiful supply of sun beds at the pool and an entrance to the harbour at the end of the pool area that could be accessed with the special bracelets that facilitated a swipe access to the suites and the hotel.
The staff were very accommodating for all our special requests. My friend and I had such a great time, we will be booking again in 2024.
We would highly recommend this hotel & accommodation to others.

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the THB in a group of 9. We couldn't fault the hotel and the views and location were way better then expected. I was sceptical at first as we have stayed in other hotel chains several times in Majorca at a higher budget but the value at THB is amazing. The hotel is located right at the beach and located right next to shops and pubs etc. All the rooms have sea facing balconies with amazing views. The rooms were spacious and cleaned daily, the food was good and the staff very friendly. Special mention for Claire who was great and always had a smile when chatting to all of our group. I have read some recent negative comments about the food and cleanliness, I certainly didn't see any of this, our room was spotless, the dining area was immaculate and the food was good every day. Yes there is some music at night time from surrounding areas but the hotel is located in a central area in Sa Coma so this is to be expected. There was an issue for a couple of days with the Wifi but this was rectified and wasn't an issue for the rest of the holiday. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel, if you want secluded silence it might not be for you but if you want a great location with the best views its very good value for money.

Had a 4 nights stay room only basis. Room on the 7th Floor near the Britannia but closed the sliding door and could hardly hear it late at night. Had emailed to ask if the room had cutlery and crockery, replied just to ask for some at reception although the lady was not very happy when we did asked for some "it's not an aparthotel". Given a waterproof wrist band to wear to access your room which is very handy. The room had a safe, small fridge, microwave, kettle, two glasses, two cups ,two each coffee and tea bags and a container of water. The suite was very generous and our view from the balcony was fabulous. The shower over bath was very powerful with shower gel and shampoo included, good hairdryer, hand towels, bath towels and two beach towels to use. Beds comfortable slept well. Room cleaned daily. Great direct access to the beach through a door at the back of pool area. I only went to the pool bar to buy drinks on the last day and was ignored by the staff. No problem I just walked away and went out of the hotel for drinks at a local cafe instead. We had a late flight so asked if we could pay to stay in the room longer but we're told no as the hotel was full so we put the luggage in a locked room. We spent the afternoon around the pool unfortunately listening to a man power wash half the pool area floor and half the sunbeds for hours not ideal but at least they do clean them! Before leaving we could use showers within the ground floor men/ ladies toilets, I was not happy that the shower door had no lock. I didn't have much of a choice but to use them but I felt uncomfortable. Overall we had a relaxing few days away and would return.

Had a very enjoyable stay at the Platja hotel in Sa Coma, room was a junior suite which was large with a living area and a bedroom area, it had two TVs with English and European channels and working aircon and fridge. We had a balcony facing the pool which was peaceful.
We had bed and breakfast and breakfast was well organised with a good selection of meats, juice, fruit etc.
The staff were always really friendly and we always felt so welcomed, rooms were cleaned daily, I have no complaints about the hotel itself.
Tips: Opposite it is the Brittania which plays loud music until late so be warned if you don’t mind hearing ABBA at 1am then 🤷♂️
Don’t go to the SPAR opposite it’s very expensive to go the shop on the same side as the hotel to the right of it. Much cheaper

We’ve just arrived home from Sa Coma Platja and already want to return. This is our 3rd visit and the hotel just gets better and better. The views from the rooms are amazing and anything from the 5th floor up you get an uninterrupted sea view. The rooms are immaculately clean, the cleaners do an amazing job and outside is equally as clean. The beds are so comfy, we sleep there better than we do at home. An added bonus is the fridge and kettle in the rooms. I just want to compliment all the staff but in particular the restaurant staff. They are all so friendly and accommodating and a special thank you to the gentleman who takes your room number and welcomes you into the restaurant. From our 1st visit when my husband was on crutches he went out of his way to be helpful and now he recognises us and looks after us each time we return to the hotel. The food in the restaurant is delicious. At breakfast a lovely array of fresh fruit, cold meats, breads and cooked breakfasts. They make your omelet to order and also freshly made pancakes. At dinner an enormous choice of hot and cold dishes and also deserts. I just would like to thank all the staff for giving us an amazing holiday and look forward to returning again next year.

Yes, we do offer that service. You can request a late checkout at the hotel reception.
Hello Samatha,
The price of the package of 2 hammocks and an umbrella is approximately €15, it is not a hotel service so I cannot confirm the exact price.
Best regards
Hello Marie,
We no longer have all-inclusive service,

Sorry, I can't help you. I know the cola at the pool bar was on draft. The rooms do have a fridge so you could always buy cola in from one of the nearby supermarkets and keep it cool.
Yes, there's a bus stop on the main street at the front of the hotel. There's also a little tourist train runs to Cala Millor which leaves from outside the Burger King at the side of the hotel. Didn't use the regular bus service, so not sure how good it is, the little tourist road train is good but don't mix it up with the safari park service, the safari tram doesn't have coaches.
