Beautiful hotel. Food was fantastic and catered for everyone. Plenty of sunbeds. Night time entertainment. Clean rooms and house keeping were fantastic. Air con in the rooms. Only downside on the rooms were there wasn't a kettle for tea/coffee making. If I was picky, I would say you need to let guests know where facilities are, as we had no idea where to go for anything or meal times. We didn't know where to get snacks from . Its very near the beach . There is building works going on at the hotel next door, which can be noisy at times. It looks like they've only just started, so please be aware. We had a lovely family room with 2 balconies. A bit of a strange set up for the toilet and walk in shower, you have one glass door that is for use of either the toilet or shower, and no actually light in the walk in shower. We have just returned from 10 nights all inclusive at this hotel, our flight was delayed due to thunderstorms on the way, so we arrived late and had missed our evening meal, the hotel staff had left some food out for us on arrival so we didn’t completely miss out, very kind. The hotel is in a great location, close to the beach ( a few minutes walk) the staff are all extremely professional and helpful, the cleaning staff work tirelessly to keep the hotel and rooms clean. The hotel is spotless. The food is incredible, such wonderful choices everyday/ every meal. We enjoyed sitting outside next to the lake for all our meals. There are different bars around the hotel and the added bonus of one on the beach, our only quibble was that there are no drink or snack lists at the bars, so it’s not easy to know what drinks they offer. There are soft drinks, juices and coffee which are always self serve and beer on tap and wine to help yourself to at meal times. The planned entertainment throughout the day and evening are very good, there is a small team of 4 running all the entertainment. We would like to send a special thank you to Nikita ( part of the entertainment team) who made our trip even more special. They all work so hard and were great fun to be around. The pool area is very relaxing, and was never too busy, it has lots of trees around and is next to the lake. The rooms are very clean, there is a small fridge in the room and air conditioning that worked very well. The only thing that wasn’t so good for us was lack of wardrobe hanging space and no full length hanging spaces and I wasn’t very keen on the glass wall/ door to the bathroom. We throughly enjoyed our trip and are planning on returning very soon. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning on a trip to Alcudia.…

Just arrived back Friday m this hotel. Room was very small but spotlessly clean, thanks to the marvellous cleaning staff. However, the shower cubicle could do with a makeover as was a bit old. Unfortunately there is building work in an adjacent apartment block which started at eight in the morning and continued all day which made sitting on the balcony impossible, we did try to change rooms but was informed they were full. We did complain to reception but to no avail. This was heavy building work, hammer drills etc., The television did not have English Channels, reception did try to tune the tv in three times but the channels only lasted half an hour apparently the technician was trying to sort it. Food was very good, variety and plenty of it. Entertainment was very good too! Overall we loved it here apart from the building work. We should of been told of this before we booked as we probably would of gone elsewhere as we do like sitting on a balcony!…

Stayed with friends for some late summer sun. From arrival to departure we were not disappointed. Check in was easy, room was spotlessly clean, food both plentiful and varied. We didn't see the same entertainment twice during our stay. The staff here work so tirelessly hard - special mentions must go to Jose from the pool bar - fabulous cocktails, Paco and Abdou from the restaurant and Fabio, zigor and Petra on reception. Always helpful and informative. Could always find a sunbed and the roof terrace was wonderful to catch some rays. There is some building work going on next door and so the view from our room coupled with some building noise is something to be aware of if your room isn't poolside. Try the massage and make sure you give the beach bar a try too. Happy to recommend and pleasantly surprised by our Majorcan holiday - first time visitors having travelled far and wide and will most definitely return - thank you alua Boccaccio for a great holiday. …

Wow, just wow. Everything was way more than perfect. Rooms are very modern and spacy. Food quality is very good. The hotel has also a beach bar that we appreciated a lot. All the staff is very professional and kind. We would like to send a special thanks to the animation team Nikita, Tamara and Piotrovas. They work really hard making sure that everybody is having a great time, without being intrusive. Definitely would recommend it!

I didn't initially want to write a negative review but they moved me to another hotel without my consent and I was forced to cancel and rebook to the Bellevue hotel (which ended up being a very good hotel). during my stay at the Bellevue, I went every day to the Boccacio and every single time they had ongoing check ins. So why they moved us, even though we mentioned it is our anniversary, and didn't move others, is a mistery. The fact that they did not offer me to cancel the booking or even receive a discount is simply an act of unlrofesionalism and disrespect. I had to ask for my refund due to my cancellation, it hasn't been offered to me, they initially wanted to charge me the paid deposit as I cancelled, even though they were forcing me to go to a hotel I didn't want to stay in and didn't book. Andrea Ropero mentioned that she moved us to the continental hotel which was right next to the Boccacio, where in reality was 20min or 2km away, and didn't have any bar on the beach. Since I was contacted on this issue on Friday, I had no one to speak with over the weekend and luckly I assumed the worst, which actually happened. Be very careful when booking this place and rather go to the Bellevue which is much bigger, nicer and more professional. Alua is a company full of unlrofesionalism and disrespect. Try to always find an alternative rather of going to Alua.…

We just recently came back from a 10 night stay at Alua Boccaccio, and it was just amazing! All staff including the cleaners were lovely and pleasant, very welcoming and helpful. The cleaners do an amazing job with cleaning the rooms daily and the rest of the hotel. Everywhere was just spotless. The food was brilliant, it was a little repetitive at times but that’s to be expected. Lots to choose from, can even pour your own beer and wine at meal times which was a nice touch. There’s plenty of places to sit both inside and outside. Fresh salad and fresh fruit every day, different types of home made puddings and cakes, fresh seafood. Our favourite was the Mexican night with the nacho station and tacos. Yummy! The pool area was nice, it is a little small however with not lots of sunbeds. Sunbeds round the pool were difficult to get unless you were up early putting towels down, however there is a terrace a level up from the pool with lots of extra sunbeds. This area was good since it was never busy, however it was quite noisy so not so relaxing. There was often water polo held by the staff members which was fun for both adults and children, and also aqua aerobics. The lifeguard was more often than not scrolling on his phone which was a little worrying. There is also a kids pool and a pool bar which was great, they had lots of drinks to choose from such as beer, liquors, slushes, cocktails. They have some snacks for all inclusive guests such as mini sandwiches, toasties, fruit and pastries that you could help yourself to at any time. The rooms were nice, extremely clean however a little small. Lots of storage space and the bathrooms were lovely. Gorgeous shower. We had a pool view room which was lovely as we could watch the entertainment from our balcony, just keep in mind if you have a pool view room it can be very noisy on a night with the music and entertainment if you are wanting to get an early night. The beds were extremely comfy and bedding changed every day. There is also a safe in the room at an additional charge. The location of the hotel is perfect, right on the main “strip” with lots of lovely bars and restaurants within walking distance. There is a group of Irish / British pubs about a 5min walk away, next to the canal. Such lovely and fun atmosphere in this area. The port is around 30min walk away or a short taxi ride, the walk along the beach was lovely at night. The beach is a 2 minute walk away, the beach bar was such a luxury. You can get all your drinks there and you can take them back down to the beach so you didn’t have to actually stay at the bar itself. It’s located just after the red bridge. They also have snacks there too provided through the day for all inclusive guests. We didn’t watch the entertainment all that much but there are different acts on for each night so you will be seeing something different if you are staying for 7 nights or less. The acrobats were our favourite. Overall, we had the best 10 nights and would highly recommend this lovely hotel to anybody. Thank you to all the amazing staff that made us feel very welcome.…

Had a fantastic 7 night stay at this hotel. All staff are friendly and hardworking. Special mention to Piotras, Pavlina, Tamara and Nikita for involving us in all activities and keeping us entertained, you are all amazing!! Rooms were lovely, plenty of variety of food and drink and the beach bar was an added bonus. The cleanliness at this hotel is on another level and something this hotel should be proud of as the staff work extremely hard keeping it to a very high standard. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to revisiting here soon.
