Great rooms, very clean and new, great beach, great hotel, food not bad, but nothing special, very German hotel! Small space around the pool, many beds, but you can not turn your bed or you disrupt your neighbour. A lot of smoking around the pool. Beach in front of the hotel, but it’s hard to find a bed and you have to pay for it.. Staff is very nice and most of them speak more languages than Spanish and German. Food is good enough, breakfast even very good, but everything is in German!!
I am still here while writing... For crying out loud 4* :-))))) This "hotel" is just a huge concrete block (looking pretty awful from in and outside) full of people next to a pool. The hotel does not own any grounds in surrounding but the building itself. There is no garden, no patios, no rest areas (no any areas). All the places: the restaurant, the bar need to be within the same building, because of the absence of other space. Hotel is openly surrounded by public areas: streets see you and you see them, hear and smell them, not only it is not on the beach, it does not even own the way to the beach. You literally live on the street, feel no privacy and suffocating. It is the worst place I have ever been, we have requested for an immediate hotel change or a direct flight home, neither of which Alltours could make happen. It makes no sense to talk about the details of good and bad points: expensive and for all slow WIFI working on single device at the time; grilling in open restaurant area is not equipped with air extractor hood...…
I've stayed here a few times and love the place. It's great for families, it's pretty basic but such a good atmosphere and location is great if you like the beach. I've never gone full or half board so can't comment on the food. However, there are lots of place near by where the food is lovely.
Nice, clean family hotel close to the beach. 3 swimming pool incl the special for small kids. Good food, especially breakfast. The beach is not so far, nice, clean with white sand. Ask for the sea view rooms instead of street view. It could be noisy and busy, especially in the morning. There are special music events for kids every evening, so nothing romantic :-]
- Very friendly and responsive personnel - Good food with a choice of see food - Hotel is oriented on German speaking guests - Close distance to the beach. A sunbed is 4.5 EUR/day and you need to reserve it (pay in advance for min 4 days) - Clean beach and see
We stayed here 2 years in a row during the month of September and found the hotel great. Lovely places to eat locally and located very close to the beach - just at the back of the hotel grounds. We found the hotel clean and well maintained and on our second visit we were greeted with a lovely fruit basket in our room. Perfect location to relax and enjoy the sun! Will definitely be back!
Hi all, stayed with my husband daughter and my mum in an apartment on an all inclusive basis, booked through lowcostholidays. very good location, close to Eroski if u need to stock up, if you are all incl you will not need to as everything you could wish for was in the hotel. good food, good choice, you could eat healthy if u wanted to which is great. theme nights, including Asian were very good, different fish every day, fab breakfast!!!! lovely staff in the restaurant (Angelica & other girls, chef Pawel, cooking pancakes). Had a lovely surprise prepared for our anniversary, A bottle of prosecco and a decorated table for our breakfast. Def great value for money, rooms and all the areas very clean, all inc drinks very good, basically anything u want, had to pay 3 euros to have a caipriinha or mojito but thats still very cheap. pre mixed cocktails free. food available basically all day. minus points -rooms need updating and you have to pay for WIFI, water in the pool 2 cold for the baby (May). all in all will return, Love Alcudia, beaches and other towns surrounding it.…
I chose this hotel after wanting to see a different area of Majorca and wanting a hotel close to the beach. The location is ok and the beach is very nice but our hotel room was pretty small and basic. We were not all inclusive so popped into the local mini supermarket or the larger one further up the road for food and drink. Evenings would see us eating in the variety of restaurants in Port d'Alcudia itself where there is a good selection. The staff were helpful and polite at the hotel but I can't say much more as contact was limited. The pool is relatively small and there was a battle for sunbeds in the early hours of the morning around it. Not the worst place you'll ever stay in, but definitely not the best either.
We stayed here in 2013 with my daughter, son in law, grandson and his other grand patents we all enjoyed our stay at Eden. Rooms were clean and had all we needed.the restaurant catered for all and always had nice variety. Short walk to the beach, beach bar and activities on the beach.the main thing we all liked was that our grandson was safe in the children's pool as you could only get in the gate with your room key.if the kids are happy the adults are too ☺
Stayed at the hotell for one week as a NON all inclusive. So we ate at the local restaurants in the area. The Eden Alcudia hotell is heaven on earth if you are german, for all us others it's just ok. Most of the staff speak ok english and are at most times able to understand you. All of the entertainment at the hotell is in german and many of the signs are in Spanish and german. Since we did not have the all inclusive i can't tell you about the food. The rooms are great with air condition and the cleaning is also great. They clean 6 days a week but not on thursdays. The worst thing about the hotell are the prices if you need anything extra. Internet: there is wifi in the hotell but it costs 6 EUR for 1 day, 12 EUR for 3 days and so on. But the speed is really bad, infact it is at times so slow that you will loose connections to sites. (Tested on several devices and on several occations) And if you need a towel for the pool it is a rental price of 10 EUR and the same for the safe in the room. If you want to go to the beach it's just a 2 minute walk from the pool but it was so packed with people all the time that we did not get the chances to enjoy a day at the beach because of no space available to lay down on. There are several great restaurats and bars in the area and i would like to recommend the bar Smith's. They have really really good food and service. If you are looking for great Paella try Chivas on the other side of the road from Smith's. All in all my stay was okay but i will choose another hotell if i ever go back to Alcudia.…
