We came during Covid so i'm not sure whether this is a true representation of the hotel but here we go anyway. The complex is MASSIVE!! If you have any kind of mobility issues this place is not for you! Some of the pools were closed but the couple we used we ok. They were clean and the entertainment was decent. The evening entertainment was average, i've seen a lot worse but also seen a lot better. The food was ok, we were only staying for 3 nights so it wasn't too bad but after a week it would have been too repetitive. It was quietish when we were there so we always found a table but i don't know how the food hall would handle a full hotel as it's really small. The rooms were a decent size and clean so we were happy with that. All in all we wouldn't stay here again as we prefer a smaller hotel but if you like big busy, loud and same food day after day then this is for you!

We were a party of 12, 5 separate families, for the half term. The holiday had been booked for over a year. Arrived to be told that they didn't have enough rooms for us due to a party arriving later in the week. Finally managed to check in after a couple of hours after they managed to do something. We knew that only 2 pool bars would be open and one restaurant etc due to covid. But we were not told that the party arriving later in the week was actually 3000 stong. My room was near the massive marquee being erected which meant loud building noise all day near apartment and nearest pool. Not very relaxing, but I suppose its end of season and complex didn't have many guests. However, one pool bar closed a couple of days after arrival, leaving only 1 pool bar open. Then once the attendees for the party started to arrive, they closed the other pool bar and the show Garden on the Saturday night so there was no where to get a AI drink apart from the restaurant. All the buffet opening times changed too. However, as AI guests we were not informed of these changes and when we asked and was given the new times. The opening times were actually shorter. Which made absolutely no sense, 3000 people, plus conference organisers and hotel guests trying to get into the buffet in 1.5 hours was a massive failure. Especially considering all the signs about covid and social distancing that were around. We were unable to get into the buffet restaurant as it was too busy and there was no where to sit that was kept dog free, which was not good when we had a family member severely allergic to dogs. We had to eat out for the last few days. And as an AI guest feel that this was unfair. They did open the black and white restaurant for drinks when the conference started. This was unpractical, it was inside, completely overcrowded, it took half an hour to get served. But the staff didn't know what to do as they weren't expecting any AI guests to use facilities so didn't have the plastic cups to serve us and had to get some. It was also ashame that some of the conference attendees were inconsiderate and there were parties in rooms and foyers until 4.30am. I did fail to mention to reception the broken drawers in kitchen, no water from kitchen tap and room not being cleaned. The last few days and nights were very unpleasant at the hotel. Such ashame as overall the facilities and food were OK for a 3 star hotel.

We booked this as a nice break from the UK, arrived with mixed feelings after reading the reviews. Check in was easy and fast, had to pay tax on arrival card is accepted. All holiday not really many complaints, there should of been a programme of entertainment as we found it was only if you where at the pool you found out with animation No double beds and you can't push together as beds just slide apart , otherwise room lovely and modern with kitchen. Due to the conference we got annoyed as the pool bar at Minera 1 closed after our 3rd day and didn't reopen again! The conference for disabled people just took over no notice was given to those finishing off their holiday unable to get in the restaurant at any time , timings changed and really I have never met such rude people in my life ruined the last 3 days of our holiday to be honest. Final day Saturday 30th October pool bars all shut and restaurant impossible at both breakfast and lunch Really annoyed that we paid all inclusive and unable to eat in the hotel anywhere! Sad ending of which was a nice holiday Check before you book that there are no conferences on

Disappointed, It one to complain however come here for a surprise rise birthday for my wife 40th . Location and resort is very nice however upon arrival there was a disabled convention for anyone with disabilities from entire region of Spain invited . This has led to over 3000 guests coming to the resort and being given priority to everything . We have paid all inclusive and didn’t get to eat a single meal in the restaurant inc lunch and dinner due to the mass crowds for meal times and the que for food or drinks at the bar is around 40/50 at anytime . Manager did his best to help but pretty poor all round . Managed breakfast on one occasion and it was chaos!! Food was like rubber stone cold and people everywhere pushing and strangers trying to sit at our table . The convention concert has taken over the whole resort and we have been pushed aside for anything this hotel offers !! Drinks all inclusive are small plastic cups and not allowed to use glass unless you pay . Average local drinks all watered down . Food from the breakfast we had wasn’t great either for all inclusive . The apartment we had was very modern And looked lovely but nothing works properly and the shower only had cold water , and watch out the bathrooms flood as there open shower so water soaks the bedroom floors no double beds had to push singles together . Month remote either you have to pay for those lol . Snack bar food is an option as we can’t get in restaurant and the food there isn’t great either stale bread and rolls half cooked burgers and nuggets. The hotel size offers lots of space but this convention has taken over the place as spoilt it for us Maybe another time this may have been a different holiday however on this occasion it’s a no from us!
