The Porto Drach Aparthotel & Suites comes highly recommended for its spacious and clean rooms, often celebrated for their stunning views. While a few guests mention occasional maintenance hiccups, the overall sentiment toward the hotel's amenities and picturesque marina vistas is positive.
Visitors appreciate the friendly and attentive service, adding to the hotel's welcoming atmosphere, despite some reports of loud music and excessive pool chlorine. Ideally situated near the marina and local dining spots, the hotel is lauded for its cleanliness and value, although extra costs for certain views and services should be noted.

Detailed Reviews
Our third time staying here, the first was way back in 2002. Fabulous Apartment within the Hotel so best of both. Had a small issue when we first arrived as the front desk had not been informed that we had booked a sea view so allocated us the wrong room, this was easily rectified when we went back down to point out the mistake. The room we had was great, nice big balcony looking out to the pool and down the marina. Spotlessly clean and if required the cleaning staff would make up room and change towels every day, not that we need that every day. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. The pool is perfect and my only small issue is that it doesn't open until 10 am when the lifeguard comes on duty. (Lifeguard was a friendly young lass who always had a smile on her face). The location is only a short 5 mins walk from the Bars/Restaurants with the beach only another 5 mins away, Beach is well looked after and the water is nice and shallow for swimming. Porto Cristo itself is such a beautiful place with all the boats in the harbor from small fishing boats to massive yachts (Rafa Nadals is there, very impressive) and nice local bars to spend an evening eating lovely seafood and having a cold drink. Local transport to and from Palma/Airport (express airport bus too) takes about 80 mins and is easy to use and inexpensive. The caves of Drach are only 10 min walk from Hotel and the Rafa Nadel experience is only a short local bus ride away in Monacor which is well worth a visit. Overall I loved staying at the Aparthotel Drach and I hope to come back again in years to come as I don't think it'll be the last time we visit beautiful Porto Cristo and wonderful Mallorca.

We love this place. We discovered the apartamentos portodrach in Porto Cristo Mallorca in Summer 2022 as a last minute booking and enjoyed it so much we returned this year. The apartments have a real hotel feel about them. The reception is very plush and the reception staff are very friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. The housekeeping staff are very friendly and the appartments and communal areas are always spotless. There are lifts that take you from street level to the top floor if required, so accessibility isn't an issue.
The pool and baby pool are a good size and haven't felt overcrowded when we have been. Although the number of loungers you see are all that are available, so best to monitor busy/quiet times so as not to be disappointed. Every pair of loungers has a parasol and table, very handy in the recent heat wave.
The restaurant offers a reasonable choice of options and the bar is fully stocked. You can also get bar snacks and drinks that can be taken to the pool. The ice cream freezer is also always well stocked.
In terms of location you are a few minutes walk to a reasonable choice of restaurants offering local tapas, seafood and more extensive menus. Our favourites being Vintasty and Quince.
The beach is also a 10 minnute walk round the marina.
You are also a 10 minute walk from the Cuevas Drach which is well worth a visit.
There are several options for supermarkets/shops. We tend to avoid the Spar and head to the slightly bigger HiperCentro and Eroski which are about a 10-15 minutes walk away and offer a greater variety of products at a more reasonable price.
These apartments are a great base for exploring Mallorca, with access to a regular bus service, Hertz car hire available via reception and easy access to Scuba Diving/Caving at Skualo which is a couple of minutes from the apartments.

My partner and stayed at this apartment hotel for 5 nights at the end of September 2022.
Check in was hassle free and everyone we spoke to on reception was friendly and helpful. They explained about the pool and restaurant and offered local advice also.
We stayed in a standard room without a marina view and were pleasantly surprised. Whilst not being massive it was more than enough for a couple and had a very spacious bathroom. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need and balcony came equipped with table and chairs and sun loungers. We opted not to pay for the marina view but the view from the back of the hotel was just as good looking out over the mountains to the north. Only negative was we got two single beds pushed together as opposed to a double bed.
Pool area was clean and perfect for sitting out in the sun. There is about 20 loungers with parasols so may get full during busier months but we had no problems at the end of September. It is next to a working boat yard but that didn't disturb us too much. The pool was very cold but perfect after lounging in the sun for a while. Towels for the pool are provided by the hotel
free of charge which was very handy. I think towels could also be taken to the beach if you wish.
The bar had a good selection of drinks, including cocktails, at a reasonable price. Drinks could also be taken to the pool area. All the bar staff were very friendly and attentive. We didn't eat in the restaurant but menu seemed to have similar things to other restaurants (pizza/pasta/paella etc) at a similar price.
Check out was again very hassle free and the staff very helpful. Check out is at noon and our transfer to the airport wasn't until 14:30, they offered us the choice to the check out later if we wanted but we chose to just leave our bags in the luggage room for a couple of hours whilst we had one last wander round Porto Cristo.
The location of the hotel is perfect as it is right on the edge of the town centre. This makes it easy walking distance to the restaurants/shops/beach (about 5-10 minutes) but was quiet enough to sit out on the balcony in peace. It's also just 5 minutes walk from the caves of drach.

Fantastic clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.
The room was great and comfortable and was kept clean with change of towels every day.
I would say however the room was kitted out for two people and we were a family of four. Fir example the table on the balcony was tiny and there was only two chairs
The shower was the worst part with freezing water on most days and probably only enough for one person to have a hot shower.we did mention it to the reception and it slightly improved through the week.
While on the subject of freezing water the pool was like an ice bath and was not heated, I guess however it would change as the weather improved.
The hotel was in a great location and if you want the sun on you all day and some privacy (as the balcony's were very close as they might as well been joined) try to book a room facing the port and to the right of the building over the restaurant as the balcony's are not overlooked.
The transfer home which was a shared coach did not turn up and luckily the hotel booked us a taxi and the travel agent (on the beach) will refund. Apparently this is not the first time as reading other reviews so maybe a private taxi would be best.
All in all a great hotel and would stay again.

Dear Jonathan, Thank you so much for sharing your opinion regarding your recent stay at Apartments Portodrach. It is always a pleasure to receive such exhaustive and pleasant reviews. Arrived mid afternoon, advised room not quite ready which was fine. Once we had access to the room I was disappointed with the cleanliness which was reported to reception straight away. They said they would send a cleaner immediately. An hour later cleaner still hadn’t arrived, I asked to move rooms which they said wouldn’t be possible until the following day. It actually transpired that we, along with 2 other families, had all been put in the wrong rooms anyway (had booked premium but were in standard) so we were all moved the following day and given complimentary breakfast for the rest of the week by way of any apology. Nice touch!
Aside from that the hotel was fab, lovely staff, great bar with great food menu. Pool was really clean and rooms serviced daily
We would definitely return although it sounds like room issues are very common so be prepared for that!

First of all, we would like to apologise for the inconveniences you may have had. Considering the broad variety of apartments we have plus any unexpected issues that might occur during the high season how, for example maintenance problems. This undesired events unfortunately can happen. We are glad to see that in the end it did not taint your general satisfaction with the hotel. Just returned from these fabulous apartments. Thought they looked great on the Jet2 website and we were not disappointed. They were exactly as described and the photos did them justice. We had a marina view which was stunning. Sitting area with separate bedroom, compact kitchen with full oven and hob, microwave and full sized fridge freezer. Bathroom huge with great walk in shower with constant hot water. It was perfect for self catering as,out of season, it was quite chilly to go out for meals in the evening. TV in the bedroom was supposed to have some English channels but the signal was down while we were there. No big deal as we had a tablet we could watch films on.
The rooms were cleaned every day with towels and sheets changed regularly in the 11 days we were there.
Reception staff kindly printed our PLF's which had been emailed over by our travel agent.
All staff helpful and friendly.
Would highly recommend these apartments

The apartments were pleasant and clean with a nice separate section with a kitchen, settee and TV. The maid came everyday to clean and the staff were pleasant and courteous. Unfortunately the pool seems to be unheated and bolted on to the side overlooking a marina yard so no particularly inviting. In fairness the weather was awful when we stayed so that may change with some sun.
The breakfasts were adequate but they seemed to operate on a “just enough” basis at any one time ( presumably to avoid waste). I would rate this as a 3* hotel in all honesty.
Porto Cristo itself is a little Spanish harbour/ marina with some nice bars and restaurants which are not overpriced. However I would recommend hiring a car as the attractions here are limited and the beach is small. This is not a resort for children.

Dear guest, Thank you for taking some of your valuable time to share your experience at Apartments Portodrach. We are sorry that your stay was not as satisfactory as we would like to. Unfortunately, the weather plays an important part in the perception of an amazing experience, and in this case, March and the first week of April we had awful weather as you comment. Porto Cristo is a very quiet place and if you are looking for a holiday with a lot of family entertainment or nightlife, maybe it is not the place for you. The people who normally visit us every year are in fact very satisfied and amazed and looking for the peace and beauty that Porto Cristo offers. We believe that we have something different and unique to offer to the rest of common touristic places in Mallorca, but of course, is not for everyone's preferences. Thank you once again for your review. Kind regards

Overall was a great stay, hotel has great facilities, was clean and in a great location.
Room – We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment (room 607) which was probably the best room. It was on the top floor on the corner of the hotel overlooking the boat yard and the town. It had 2 balconies (one each side) and was interesting watching them lift the boats out of the water to work on them. The room had everything we needed: there’s 2 good sized bathrooms (one ensuite to the main bedroom), large living area (with dining table, sofa, TV) and a small but well equipped kitchen (large fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, utensils, new sponges etc). Was clean and fairly modern.
Hotel – The pool area is really nice (nicer than what the pictures show) with plenty of sun loungers. The water was a bit cold but guess expected for that time of year. The bar is nice, we enjoyed having evening cocktails overlooking the harbour. We did have breakfast on the first day (12 euros each), there was a great selection but flies were a bit of an issue.
Location – Is perfect! The area is quiet but you’re still only a stone’s throw away from the main town with restaurants etc. There is free parking outside the front of the hotel and along the harbour. We usually found a space but there is also a free car park nearby. You can park in the hotels private car park for 10 euro a day. Porto Cristo itself is lovely, lots of nice restaurants, stunning views without being too ‘touristy’ – certainly not ‘Brits abroad vibe’ thankfully.
I would recommend the following restaurants: Restaurante Cap des Toi (lots of choice and fairly cheap), Quince (either go early or book) and Trattoria del Porto (nice food & view).
I would recommend visiting other areas nearby: Cuevas del Drach, Caves D’Arta, Castell de Capdepera and Port de Pollença.

Excellent apartment we were given room 609 which is on the top floor of the main building. View across the marina was incredible. Room was spotlessly clean and was cleaned every day. It is certainly big enough for two with plenty of cupboard space. There was a TV in the lounge but I couldn't find any English channels. WiFi was barely adequate speed was 5mbps could be something to do with us being on the top floor but 4g reception was full strength. Kitchen was very well equipped with enough of everything. It had a kettle toaster oven microwave corkscrew washing up liquid but no condiments only slight negative was that the cups were too small for a decent cup of tea I used to make two at a time. Pool looks great and is on the side of the building and had a life guard on duty they also provided towels. I had intended to pay for parking but due to covid there were a lot less tourists etc and we had no problem parking for free outside the hotel on the street. We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on that but looked fine. Staff were lovely and very helpful but as there were so few guests they didn't have a lot to do. All in all an excellent place to stay and worth the money.

We loved our short stay here and wished we had stayed longer. The Aparthotel is stylishly decorated and the room was spotless. We had booked a breakfast which was so worth it - amazing quality and variety. Parking can be found on the streets nearby - they also offer a private one for a small fee. Great choice on the eastern side of Mallorca!
