Js Cape Colom Hotel receives accolades for its exceptional staff, who are often lauded for their professionalism and warmth. The tranquil setting with stunning sea vistas offers guests a serene retreat, complemented by a host of amenities like pools and a spa, despite occasional reports of them being chilly or temporarily out-of-service.
While the rooms are celebrated for their spaciousness and cleanliness, a few guests have raised concerns over dated decor and soundproofing issues. Nonetheless, the hotel's overall atmosphere and the value provided, including all-inclusive options, are highly regarded by many who stay there.

Well, what a place.
We had a fantastic few days. Food and drinks were great, room was comfy albeit a bit dated. We had a terrace room and it was amazing. The staff are lovely.
The view, wow, absolutely stunning. Extremely relaxed hotel.
We will most definitely be back ASAP

My husband and I stayed at JS Cape Colom for a week in August and we’re not disappointed .
The hotel staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us
The location is perfect for just chilling out and recharging your batteries
Anytime of the day we could get a sunbed - which were super comfy either around one of the pools or if we chose to watch the boats out at sea
I’m a vegetarian and picky eater but always found something to eat - the restaurant is extremely clean and tidy with staff working really hard to keep it this way
The beach and harbour are only.a 10 minute walk away and we took a day out on the Star Fish glass bottom catamaran which we booked at reception- excellent value for money and would recommend to anyone even if your a little unsure about going out to sea
I carnt recommend this hotel enough and we will definitely be booking again
Thank you JS Cape Colom

Lovely position, great sea view, nice swiming pool.
Easily could be a very good hotel. The room with sea view is nice, you have a great view.
But there are some management problems:
The dining terrace had dirty floors all the time. The tables were not disinfected after each client, they were not even wiped with a damp cloth. The sunbeds were not washed or disinfected. The anti-covid rules is limited to wearing a mask indoors. The tennis table that appears as a feature on the Booking site does not exist. The quality and taste of food poor, the same for cofee and drinks included in all inclusive option. The cleaning ladies make big noise between 12-16 pm. Nice garden but mising the flowers which could transform it in a little paradise.

We stayed here in 2019 and yes it was peaceful and relaxing, and because of this we decided to return the following year. Due to Covid we did not get to return until this year.
we were so disappointed with lots of things that we will not be returning again.
A lot of the guests were very noisy and gathered around the pool and by late afternoon they showed no regard for other guests. At night they carried on playing their own music and making lots of noise. We had to ring reception to get them to turn off their music played after midnight. We appreciate that people want to have a good time on holiday, but surely the night staff should be making them aware that there are other guests not just them to be considered.
This hotel now seems to accept hen does, as there were two separate ones while were there.
The rooms are in dire need of refurbishment. The furniture is very dated. The tops of the dressing table had peeling veneer, and the bathroom door was rotted at the bottom due to overflowing water from the bath which only had a shower curtain. A lot of the towels were threadbare and had holes in. Surely housekeeping should be checking these towels on a regular basis. The one good thing about the room was the very comfortable bed, the mattress obviously having been recently replaced. The only problem was the fitted sheets did not quite fit and came loose as soon as you got in to the bed. Seeing the hotel had been shut for two years, surely some form of upgrade could have been done.
The food was ok but very repetitive, Chips potato salad, chicken, pizza, lunchtime and dinner. Often it was only lukewarm. Presentation was not very good, which made it less appealing. Some guests were even going out for dinner as they could not find anything to suit them. There is supposed to be a certain dress code in the restaurant, but some nights men were going in for dinner wearing only swim trunks and bear chested. Is this hygienic? It certainly put me off my food. Also there is an eating area outside which is nice, but some nights people were still using the pool near to where people were eating. This should surely be stopped at 7 o,clock when dinner starts.
The location is lovely and very peaceful and relaxing, if you are lucky to get guests who are like minded and do not want to spoil it for everyone else.

This hotel surprised me in a good way. The location is in a peaceful area with a lot of amenities; there are pools, tennis courts, gym, spa, sauna and beautiful views everywhere from a terrace. The evening concerts (every 2-3 nights) were quite nice animation. The room is average, nice and clean however there are 'paper walls' so you might often hear a noise from your neighbors. The hotel is located on a coast with a lovely sea view however the entrance to the sea directly at the hotel is not that comfortable (straight stairs). The nearest beach is approx. 500m walking distance and I highly recommend to visit it (Cala Marcal - just turn left at Spar and keep walking). The food and drinks were good, there was always a choice even I am vegetarian.
I recommend to book this hotel directly via their website right after becoming a JS member; it should give you a nice discount even in a peak season (the difference in a price compared to booking was more than 20% for my stay plus the cancelation policy was applied).
I can recommend this hotel, it was a great stay for a valuable price.

We didn’t go here with high expectations after seeing some mixed reviews however it was excellent.
The hotel foyer was clean and welcoming, the room was basic but clean and the balcony was a good size. The air con in the room was great and wasn’t too noisy like you find at some hotels. The little fridge was ideal for storing some bottles of water.
Both pools were great and nice and clean. There was the usual of people reserving sun beds first thing and there was also sun beds with towels on but no one on them for hours which is frustrating.
The steps down to the sea in the cove was great and there was always a few people swimming in the sea which was nice and warm.
The gym was brilliant for a hotel gym and the views were amazing. I believe the opening hours were 8am-7pm, it would be great if it opened a little earlier so you can train and shower before going for breakfast.
All of the food was hot and fresh and there was always different dishes and the coffee from the machine was actually drinkable.
The alcoholic drinks on offer were great and I highly recommend the strawberry daiquiri.
The staff were all lovely, dirty plates were always removed quickly and service at the bar was quick.
We only saw entertainment on one evening due to only staying 3 nights but the performers were good.
The nearest beach was a short walk away where we hired a double kayak which was lots of fun.
We would love to return here in the future.

As many say the location cannot be beaten. We loved waking up to the sunrise over the sea and having cocktails by moonlight. The staff are all fantastic, so hard working and always cheerful despite being incredibly busy.
Relaxation: we loved the lack of music and can’t understand why people complain about it. If people want to listen to music bring your own and use headphones. We have no desire to be subjected to other peoples noise. Also evening entertainment. We can’t understand why people want to listen to fifth rate karaoke. If people find it boring they could read a book, watch the stars, even talk to the people they go on holiday with or the other guests from different coun
We would pass on these points to the management ( who were always visible around the hotel) Could you label food with a V so we don’t have to ask each night if dishes have meat or fish. Also the internet was weak at best and often dropped. Oh and please keep the no music policy!!
Thanks to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable

Having done a few adult only AI spa hotel holidays I was expecting more than I got at this hotel especially since I paid more or less the same as all the others. So here goes yes the transfer can take about 1.5 hours but we knew that before booking. Was disappointed they offered no snacks when we got there especially as it was 11.40pm. Also there was no bottled water in the room fridge so we couldn't even have a drink till morning. We had a decent size room but it did smell musty. Room very basic, lack of plugs especially where the dressing table was, mirror above dressing table too high, can only see the top of your head when sat on the chair!! Whilst there is a fridge in the room there is no kettle so you have to go down to breakfast to get your first cuppa of the day. The balcony of our room was quite ridiculous it was the width of a plastic chair, we were overlooking the street so needless to say we didn't use the balcony. On a positive note though there are plenty of sun loungers and they are quite comfy not those hard plastic ones. Views from the lounger area are stunning makes the transfer time worth it. 2 swimming pools, one is really good for doing some proper swimming. Not too cold either. There are also steps down into the sea from the hotel too. On the top floor is a gym with decent equipment, air conditioning a bit poor up there. Views spectacular though. There is a jacuzzi (which was freezing whdn i tried it) up there and a sauna and steam room that bever seemed to be on. There are a couple of loungers and chairs up there too. Food has been pretty good although there was a lot of the same stuff on each day. Disappointed that there was only evening entertainment on 3 out of the 7 nights we were there especially since the whole resort is really quiet so it's not as though you can head out of the hotel to find some entertainment elsewhere. In terms of holiday makers mainly Brits and Germans, quite a few singles there too. The beach and a few shops and bars is a 15 minute walk to your left as you exit the hotel. To the right you can head to the old town and harbour. Take insect repellent with you. I don't normally get bitten but leave with 7 bites. Room was cleaned every day but for some reason only the hand towels were changed daily I had to ask for fresh bath towels half way into the holiday. Staff were pleasant and friendly. To sum up this holiday it has been the most peaceful resort I have ever been to, the only noise is the sound of the waves. It is definitely a place to relax as there is very little else to do. Only a few shops and most of the bars are restaurants. Whilst we have enjoyed our week here mainly because we needed a relaxing holiday it is not a resort I would return to.

We stayed for 5 nights, 12 - 17th July. First time holidaying at adults only. Easy check-in, arrived just before lunch, room clean and tidy, plenty of storage. Bed was comfy. Lovely large balcony, side sea view (first floor). The higher up the better the views. Visit the 6th floor, if only for the far reaching views... we had a dip in the hot tub (38°), so not for long! The location has to be the best thing about Cape Colom, perched on a cliff overlooking the beautiful sea, accessible via a steps then a ladder directly into the sea. I'm not a great swimmer but I ventured in, beautiful, just floating on the water. The grounds are spread accross various levels, sunbeds dotted around, no issues getting one unless you want a specific spot. We spent our time around the Olympic sized pool. Great for cooling off on the very hot days. Views from every angle. The food was great, plenty of choice for the size of hotel. Salads, meats, fruit, bread, desserts and choices of mains. There is a cooking station at each mealtime, freshly cooked omelette and fried eggs... burgers & pizza, fresh meat. I'm a fussy eater but never went hungry. There's a small bar area for drinks all day. Indoor and outdoor seating areas. All the staff are lovely, nothing too much for anyone, all very friendly. We had entertainment on 3 nights, singers, all different but good.
If you venture out it is quiet, few shops, the spar has a lovely bakery. You can be sat on the beach in under 10 minutes, worth a visit, sunbeds (€14 for 2 beds & parasol)bars, beach shop, toilets, water activities all there. The sea is clear and shallow for quite a way out. The harbour is also 10 minutes walk, few bars and restaurants. If you want a relaxing break, peace and quiet and just chill. This Hotel is worth a visit. We met some lovely couples and singletons. We didn't feel any negatives about the hotel but could see bits that could push it to a 4 star but nothing that impacted on our stay.

Lovely located hotel
Modern updated common areas just need to improve rooms
Food variety small selection but always something you could eat. Stops overindulgence.
We were there for eight days and only had a singer three times as entertainment so not nightly as stated on website. I understand that covid has a large part to play but a man and his amp standing next to the waste bin on the patio? Think that location needs to be rethought
We were put into a lesser room on a late arrival which we hadn’t booked and we told reception who next morning the manager rectified and even gave us complimentary rewards which we were grateful for
Overall fantastic location. Nice little hotel could do with improvements here and there which could easily increase their rating

Yes, we had a late flight home. Room to keep your suitcases in, next door is a shower room. I'd recommend using the showers on the top floor (spa/gym). We ate and drank on our last day without restriction.
Are there restrictions on all inclusive drinks in this hotel i.e. 3 drinks with lunch/dinner?
Thanks
Not at this hotel and the AI goes on until 23.30! 😄
Use Hoppa to book and choose Avanti cabs used them twice. Picj up on way home has always been on time.
There was a small market down near the marina but cannot remember what day..was the usual clothes jewellery handbags a fruit and veg stall and was quite busy.. I’m sure the staff will be able to tell you. You can ge a taxi to neighbouring towns, villages to their markets, again reception staff can arrange taxis..
