Great location at the front of the beach . Service is a bit slow . We both had simple food the wife option for the ceaser salad which was pretty tasteless . No dressing and a few strips of chicken on the top . I had melon and ham so nothing could really go wrong with that . Definitely better for cool off drinks for us rather than food
Beautiful island. The hotel facilities were good (rooms, pools and the food and drinks). Pablo and along with his entertainment team Alex and Cyril really made the trip fun and one to remember. Would definitely go back.
I have just come back from a girls holiday to this hotel (for a week) and overall had a nice holiday. Here is a list of my views on the positives and negatives... 1. Facilities: Lovely pool areas - there is a large pool with a few children's slides and down the steps there are a couple of lovely pools overlooking the most beautiful view of the sea. They have done this really nicely as the other two pools are away from the main part so very quiet and more for adults. Staff: Lovely staff members throughout, especially reception! Food: Great variety of tasty food in the buffet area (even though it is always cold- but this didn't really put me off and you can always warm it up!) The main amazing part about this ...is the homemade pizza!! Which is the best pizza I have EVER eaten! 5*! It would be nice if it was a bit more formal, rather than just a cafeteria feel but still very good and quick service. The all inclusive is great, there is food/snacks all day up until around 10pm - which is great!! Drinks: This is the main thing that annoyed me...all drinks from the bar are served in small flimsy plastic glasses and you are only allowed 2 drinks per person each time. I felt like I spent my whole holiday going to and from the bar, as the cups were soooo small! It would be nice to at least have larger hard plastic glasses and then they would also use less alcohol and we would not have to keep going to the bar! This also brings me to the water...you get one big bottle of water in your fridge which you keep having to fill up! There are water dispensers around but again it is just a real faff and would be much better to have lots of small bottles from a fridge! You are also very lucky if you can have a full drink around the pool areas before they are covered in wasps! BIG negative...the bar for all inclusive closes at 10.30, which is really bad! As soon as the evening show is over, it is as though the whole place just closes very quickly! Rooms: The rooms are VERY basic but a nice size - the cleaning however is not the best, they seem to mop the floors and make the beds but that is about it...we didn't have fresh cups each day and the sides were not cleaned etc. Beds were comfortable and great pillows! Entertainment: The entertainment team are great but I feel they have a very hard job, as they come round the pool areas asking if we want to join archery, darts etc which I feel are not things that us adults want to join in on a relaxing holiday! They play small games around the pool, like higher or lower etc but the prize is a bottle of cava...which is already included in the all inclusive package, so didn't really make sense to me. The evening entertainment is a bit hit and miss! The shows where they hire professionals eg. spanish dancers, magician are really good but the other ones not so great! Again no reflection on the entertainment staff themselves, as they really are great but I think they have just been given a bit of a taxing job! Location: Nice quiet location with lots of shops and a few bars opposite the hotel. There is also a beautiful beach around a 5 minute walk from the hotel, with lovely clear water. Just for some extra info... 1. The wifi is not free and to me seems quite expensive! 2. The beach towels require a 10 euros deposit but you get this back when you bring the towels back at the end of the holiday. 3. Don't forget the bedroom tax, it was around 12 euros each for the week. Not expensive at all but just a reminder. 4. Transfers - pay for a private transfer or a 4 stop shuttle. When I came in June we paid for a normal shuttle (says takes around 1 hour 1/2 - which is a big lie) Took 3 1/2 hours and ruined the first part of the holiday. This time I used sun transfers (maximum of 4 stops) and would highly recommend! Took around 1 hr 15 mins and a nice bus :) 5. Pay for a sea view room if you can, as the views are absolutely stunning! In comparison to other 4* hotels, this seems to me more of a 3* but still great. Overall we had a lovely stay and would probably return.…
Yes, this is a hotel and cafe that fronts onto the Avenida Peguera and backs onto Palmira beach, Peguera. Nothing particularly special to look at (note that some of the photos posted here are from a similar named hotel on the east of the island!! An error with assigning, i guess), but the view over the beach is great, day or night. We just snacked and had coffee but it was very clear that the locals came here for their break. Good to trust where the locals choose. The service was very friendly and efficient. Worth a visit, even if just for a quick respite drink.
Had a lovely stay here in september 2016 with my 3 children. The food was lovely with a variety to choose from, staff were lovely and hotel too. The only thing i woud say would be to get a little more going on for children as the entertainment wasn't that great. Overall though we enjoyed our holiday and would come back again x
