To start off, I dont get paid for this ;-) We were at another apartment hotel in Paguera. Supposedly 4 star. we didnt like it there though, so we left after 2 nights and found the Novo Mar. The staff was really helpful in accomodating us. The view in the upper floors are really breathtaking. The balconies/terrace are huge. The place had been renovated some years ago, so it looks clean and new. Breakfast was really nice. Good selection of bread, scrambled eggs, cereals etc. What made the stay really perfect were the small things from the staff. They give away free sun umbrellas, so you dont need to buy one or rent one at the beach. We stayed at the place 2 times during our time in Mallorca and checked 4 different rooms. The staff was always supportive in finding the right room for us. They also helped us to order taxis etc. Location is superb as well. Just 3 minutes to the beach and just 2 minutes to the Bulevar- the street where all the shops and restaurants are. Just opposite you also have a small supermarket with the typical selection of soft drinks, beers etc. To sum it up, this was a perfect stay in Paguera. We will most likely come back again.…
Suite was very modern and clean, We were on the top floor with excellent views from the large balcony. Food was not brilliant and no kettle in room. Coffee and toiletry supplies never replenished which we thought was poor for price paid. Most hotels replenish daily. No pool towels. Only 1 English channel on the TV (CNBC). Free parking was a bonus.
We had a great apartment. It was very clean with modern design and sober👍 We liked it a lot. The food was OK, but could have been better. The staff was polite and the cleaning was OK. So we had a nice stay.
Lovely modern and recently refitted apartment which was quiet, clean and bright. Charging points in the bedside cabinets was a great and very useful feature. The chaps on reception were both so friendly and couldn't be more helpful Breakfasts were amazing, so much choice and again a bright and clean room Our 4 day stay was not long enough!
We were visiting family that live nearby and needed a hotel close enough but with family friendly facilities. This hotel does not look special at first glance but it certainly grows on you. The staff are very attentive and helpful the kid you'd expect in a 5 star hotel. We had a very grumpy 3 year old dining with us and the receptionist recognised our pain at meal times....she brought colouring pencils from her own home for us the following day! The food quality is excellent, so much so my brother in law paid to join us for breakfast each day. The hotel rooms are basic but very clean. The bathroom have all been refurbished and look great.
We stayed here to race the Challenge Paguera 70.3 triathlon. Convenient location, huge balcony with amazing views towards the sea. Wide choice of food at breakfast and dinner, very accommodating and helpful staff, and extremely clean and well maintained apartments. Handy to be able to make coffee in your room and have the additional living room space. Would come back!
Had a recent holiday to the Novo Mar which I found to quiet excellent I am from Scotland and found the place to be spotless friendly and near to all local amenities Would like to thank all the staff who made our stay most welcome Stayed with my son the first week then wife came over second week Hotel is no palace but offered what is needed on a holiday and that is cleanliness friendship and fun Food was great in restaurant and although not the biggest range was great I would highly recommend this hotel Simple but Fantastic Stayed in room 512 1st August 15th August Thanks for making our holiday so great
just back from a great 10 day stay at Apt Novo Mar in peguera. It was a great find and offered comfort and space despite being a small complex of only77 apartments.. that is positive. Check in was easy relaxed and so personal. The receptionist Manuel made it effortless and directed us to our apartment. There are two lifts so you rarely wait. The apartment was immaculately clean spacious with a small kitchenette and a lovely living area. The balcony was again very spacious and can easily fit 4 people. There is a TV (BBC World service). throughout our stay the apartment was cleaned daily with clean sheets n towels every second day. There was no kettle in apartment due mainly that the bookings included breakfast in restaurant which was bright spacious never a queue. The breakfasts were buffet style from fresh fruits to cereal to cold meats to hot food too. There was ALWAYS ample supply of food at all times.Dinner could also be avaiiled of at a knock down price of 12 euros menu changed daily There is a pool in the complex small at the front on first floor level with decking and never full. The local beach Playa Toro is only a two minute walk away and has a lovely feel to it from cove like to sunbeds and umbrellas *(they are costly at 4,50 a day for bed and 4.50 for umbrella).Showers on beach and local toilets immaculately cleaned are nearby also. What I liked about Novo mar was its personal touch.. the staff knew our names, are competent in English German and other languages, they quickly followed up on any requests we had (extra pillows straight away) the apartment complex is right beside the main avenue of shops and restaurants that makes up Paguera but was never loud or noisy. The AC in the rooms was spot on and adjustable. In sghort this was a great choice of venue so near the beach, and restaurants of which they are many. If I was to name three it would be Fantastic KItchen Asian, try the Mongolian beef skewers (Calle de Pins) Sa Finca on main Boulevard, try the Plata mallorcan or Felicianos which is away from the main Boulevard, turn left as you leave the complex less than a 5 min walk on left hand side. In all a great choice. well worth a visit and plenty of day trip options too if you are not a beach person. Note there is a lift from main street to first floor of apartment block. Apart from 5 steps into reception area everywhere else is accessible.…
We booked the Novomar independently by email, the process was very efficient. We have just returned from an 11 night stay which went very smoothly. You should be aware that the resort (and Novomar) must be 95% German but this should not affect your holiday. On not a single occasion were towels placed over sun beds !!! around the pool which was only sparsely used throughout our stay. The aparthotel is spotless and the reception staff of Manuel, Angel and Juan are most friendly and very helpful. The location is ideal, only 10 metres or so from the Boulevard, the main focus of the resort, full of quality shops and restaurants, and midway between the Palmira and Tora beaches, both reachable within 5 minutes. Both are outstanding beaches. We had an apartment on the 6th floor (the hotel has 7 floors). We had a superb view across to Playa Tora, and sun through the day on the balcony until about 5/6pm. Couple of tips - no kettle provided in your room, and a shop on the boulevard rents sunbeds and parasols at 2e and 0.75e per day. Easy access to local resorts Santa Ponsa, Magaluf, and Palma Nova (bus 104), and Port Andratx - beautiful, and Palma (direct bus 102).…
Staying in Novo Mar for almost a week by now, we must say we enjoyed everything - the location, service, and breakfast. There was always a very friendly and helpful professional available behind the reception desk. The breakfast was well prepared, variable, and tasty. A chef made sure the bacon, eggs and omelette, among other things, were fesh and nicely served for you. The same staff attitude - keeping the customer happy at all times - was shared by the cleaning staff. Additional pros: excellent view from the spacious, sunny balcony; very quite and tidy rooms.
