This is absolutely not a 5 star hotel. The staff were rude and unhelpful, there was no mini bar in the room (not even any water to brush our teeth), plus the breakfast was inedible (we were served ‘eggs benedict’ with mayonnaise squirted all over the top). Lots of things were broken and we didn’t even have any WiFi in our room. Overall it was very messy, tired and outdated, which is a shame considering the potential of the property. It’s definitely not good value for money and hence I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

This is a beautiful hotel in an AMAZING location. We couldn’t fault the hotel - the hotel staff could not do enough for you, excellent service and nothing was a problem. The food was fantastic and we ate in the snack bar ( chicken focaccia was delicious) everyday over looking the cove. We had the adults infinite pool to ourselves with amazing views. The rooms were cleaned everyday to a good standard, the beds were huge and good quality linen that you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The balcony area was amazing with a central view over the coves/ beach. Although some reviews say the hotel is dated, it is in some areas but the quality of the furniture is traditional and in keeping with the hotel and classic Mallorca. We would highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back! On our last evening we will be eating in the hotel restaurant to finish our stay nicely! Thank you

This place has the ULTIMATE location. The most beautiful cove I’ve found in all my travels. So, it really is a must visit. However, you don’t need to be staying at the hotel to visit the cove and this is hotel is relying on its location to keep its rooms filled. We paid around €1000 for a 3 night stay and also upgraded to a Grand Suite, which advertised a large terrace with sun loungers and an open plan suite. Instead, we got quite a depressing room with a regular size balcony (the view albeit great, but not the panoramic one we paid extra for), but it was still in the Grand Suite section separate to the main hotel. The rooms are very dated, like really dated. The phone didn’t work, some lights didn’t work, there were empty display shelves, hooks on the wall where pictures have once been and a couple of random TV sets like what you would get in a student apartment. The toilet flush didn’t work properly and the panel fell off the wall. The balcony wall is also wobbly and will soon be dangerous. The fridge was not restocked once we had finished our 2 x 0.25 litres of complimentary water so we had to go to reception and pay €8 for two litres. Couldn’t order room service. We had to walk about 1 mile over the hill to the store to buy hair conditioner and extra water. Every morning at 8am, the cleaners drag heavy wheelie bins down the stairs right outside the room waking us up each morning. The owners seem to live on site so we had the dogs barking, and the usual family shouting at kids and back and forth, banging about upstairs etc. I’ve paid less money to stay in places with a MUCH better hotel experience. Across the bay you can see the Secrets Villamil Resort and Spa which is a true 5 star experience. The gardens and view here are awesome, but I would stay away from the upgraded rooms as it’s not worth the extra cost.

I find this a difficult one! The hotel sits in a pretty bay accompanied by two larger resorts. It’s small with under 40 rooms with some lovely pool areas. But overall it felt like a place stuck in a time warp. The overall feeling is old fashioned. The balcony on our room had a lovely view but the bizarre dual mirrored external walls and iron work made it feel like something from the 1970s. The public areas are generous ....but then you come across the residents lounge which I hate to say reminded me of a care home This could be a hotel with wow factor with a little modernisation to public areas, room balconies and the bathroom. There is nothing to fault the location or the food but for me it did not feel like a 5 star hotel

Not for everyone, but for those, who love an idyllic place, tucked away in Cala Fornells, overlooking a wonderful bay, a quiet and peaceful hotel. 6 swimming pools, built into a rock, upstairs and downstairs, good for your legs and melting away the calories that the good cuisine delivers. I enjoyed the breakfast and dinner, absolutely lovely service staff, the hotel has its flair and as I found out a good amount of returning guests. I have not been on this island since 20 years, I booked and flew over, the hotel was a very good decision. You have access to 2 public beaches with a crystal clear water, just wonderful. Exactly my taste for a couple of days.
