Having used Hilton hotels in most parts of the world I was disappointed with the “5-star Hilton Galatzo”. It’s not a 5-star Hilton!! Location is OK but you need transport if you can’t manage the 40 minute walk to the nearest town Paguera, with its restaurants and bars. The thing is this trip advisor rating is based predominantly on the hôtel’s previous existence as the 4-star Maratim Galatzo which Hilton took over in July 2022. Unfortunately the upgrade from 4-star to 5-star just isn’t there. Note - Paguera is a lively resort with a very wide range of restaurants, from the excellent La Hacienda Steak House to the not so excellent WurstLand curry wurst restaurant (perhaps they should call it WorstLand). The majority of bars and restaurants are aimed at German tourists who have been coming here for many years.…

I was surprised to see some negative reviews on here as it's not reflected of our experience or what I saw during our stay here. The hotel is brilliant, the staff really go out their way to make sure you're having a good time and have everything you need. The facilities are clean and modern. The location won't be for everyone but it ticked the boxes we wanted. If you're put off by the walk into the town there's an hourly shuttle bus in the day and the staff have no issue ringing a taxi if required. Getting a taxi back from Peguera is easy and only around 5euro. Thanks to Alberto who went out his way on an occasion when we couldn't get a taxi to take us in the shuttle to the town. It's little touches like that that can really make a stay. Big shout out to the kitchen staff for being accommodating with food allergies and explaining the ingredients in items. Overall I'd have no issues in recommending this hotel and thank everyone for their superb hospitality.…

I'm not suggesting that the Hotel wasn't good and I did enjoy my stay but I am having a very bad experience with my return of deposit three months later. I paid Euro 250 on the 2nd August and a separate tourist tax on checkout on the 8th. I was due a full refund of deposit on leaving. I have been in constant contact with a manager called Lucila who isn't being very effective . I'm still owed the money 3 months late and she's not helpful. I think this is a way that they take more money from you. Be very careful

Staff doesn’t care to improve your stay…. we were woken up in the middle of the nights by the same loud guests under our room 4 nights in a row and the hotel staff/manager did nothing to prevent this occurring again… They repeated “it’s not our responsibility”… They continued to tolerate this behavior, did not offer a change in room (for us or the other), did checked proactively during night, … They even recognized having seen this guest living the hotel bar completely drunk and loud (night 4) and did nothing to prevent that this guest would wake us several times between midnight and 3 am!!!!!! Note that this is not the first stay at this hotel (4 times this year), and we had a similar experience the stay before this: a big privat party was organized in the garden until 23h30 without pre informing other guest! The rooms and infrastructure are great but the staff and especially the management is from fare not at the level you could expect!…

We loved staying at this hotel. Our room was very big, the bedroom separated from the living room. Gorgeous view of the sea, and nice balcony. The service was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was huge, with many fresh choices. Everyone was very friendly at hotel, and most spoke English. Great Old Fashion cocktail at the bar. We enjoyed the food at the poolside bar. I had the hamburger and my husband had the Power Bowl. Very tasty. Rent a car because nothing is close by. Netty helped us book an awesome sunset cruise on a catamaran. Highly recommend this hotel!

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel for my birthday. We had the best time. The hotel is nice and clean. The grounds are gorgeous! Friendly and helpful staff. Netty was able to book our spa appointments. We stayed in the beautiful King suite! Comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Wash cloths are available on request. We ate at the pool restaurant which has a delicious Caesar salad. We also ate at Cotton club for dinner which was delicious. The hotel is situated on a beautiful hill with the best views! Spa, restaurant, lobby bar, and gym helped to make out trip worth coming back.

This hotel charged me money for no reason. The customer service is absolutely awful. If you are an English speaker, good luck, because no one at the hotel speaks decent English. Avoid at all cost.

Stayed at this hotel for one week with my husband. We both loved our stay here, the staff are really friendly and pleasant. We had a room in the main building and got a free upgrade to a lovely room with a veranda that had two sunbeds which was nice and private. Breakfast was really nice with a very good selection of different foods e.g. cheese meats, cereals, breads and fruits. It was amazing. Our room was kept really clean and tidy by housekeeping. We think they did a brilliant job. The bar staff are really friendly and also reception staff. Don’t be put off with some of the negative reviews about this hotel. We would definitely go and stay here again.

Subject: Urgent Complaint - Reservation #3421673146 - Hilton Mallorca Galatzo Dear Hilton Customer Support, I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding my recent stay at the Hilton Mallorca Galatzo, where I checked in on September 6th, 2023. I had made a reservation for a King Suite, and upon arrival, I requested two connected rooms, which unfortunately were not accommodated. This initial disappointment set the tone for my stay, but it was only the beginning of my grievances. Upon checking into King Suite #2506, I immediately noticed that the air conditioning was not functioning correctly. Despite bringing this issue to the attention of your staff on multiple occasions, regrettably, no one responded to our requests for assistance. My reservation number is #3421673146, and I am scheduled to check out tomorrow. However, due to the unbearable conditions and lack of resolution to the AC problem, I am left with no choice but to seek alternative accommodations during my stay in Mallorca. I understand that my initial booking was non-refundable. However, in exceptional circumstances and as a gesture of goodwill and customer service, I believe it is only reasonable to request a refund for the remaining nights that I will not be staying at the Hilton Mallorca Galatzo. I approached the Front Office Team with this request, but unfortunately, my plea fell on deaf ears. I would like to emphasize that my intention is not to demand a full refund but to seek a fair resolution given the circumstances. It is my belief that Hilton, as a renowned and respected hospitality brand, should consider and attend to such requests as a matter of courtesy and respect for its guests. I urge you to look into this matter urgently and address my concerns regarding the unsatisfactory stay and the unresponsive staff.
