On one side the hotel looks refurbished recently and the decoration is clear and relaxing in light blue/green colors. The best part was the 3rd floor which has a terrace with many sunbeds, two jacuzzis, a sauna and great views of the sea. The pool area on the ground-floor is also pretty big and the waiter was very kindful. We liked a lot the wall-long sofa at the bar, perfect for chilling with a gin-tonic. On the other side we came upon many deficiencies. The room (the double one) was way too small, the bathroom door would only open 45º because it hits the toilet and it has the lavatory in front leaving just a small gap to enter. The aircon was another thing, we lowered the thermostat to the minimum and put the fan at max but despite that it was too hot to sleep. In any ways the worst thing of the room, sleeping wise, was that it was located next to a pub's terrace and we could hear all the conversations, people shouting, singing, hitting the tables, etc. We called reception for it and they told us they will notice the pub's staff but everything remained the same until the pub closed. That is unacceptable for what we paid for a room. The room must had a proper soundproofing. A few more remarkable things are that one of the jacuzzis of the 3rd floor was broken and the other one was almost all the time full. Also that you have to pay by cash the 10€ towel deposit. And that you cannot charge to the room your orders on the bar, you have to pay them right there (but they accept cards).…
Perfect service from reception team. Great service from Argentinian waitress in the bar. Comfortable room and bed. Well maintained pool & pool area. Good overall hotel cleanliness (room, restaurant, public toilets, reception, etc). Short walking distance to shops, free carparks and beach. Nice rooftop area with jacuzzis. Small fitness room. The negatives: Food offer it's very basic for the price paid, drinks not included in half board.
Clean, modern hotel. Staff were very friendly, helpful and really work hard to ensure you enjoy your stay. We asked to change rooms as I did not like our first room , room 4 is on ground floor and rather noisy and dark. We had to stay there the first night as we arrived late but lovely receptionist changed us to a much better, brighter room as soon as it was possible the next day. Rooms are basic but clean and modern. Drinks are fairly priced. Lobby area is modern and comfortable. Pool area is attractive. Hot tub and Bali beds on roof are clean and great views. Location is fantastic, so near to beach and main strip. Overall a good value for money, modern and clean hotel. Good for price and typical of a decent 3 star. Food was adequate and plenty of choice. Well done to all the lovely staff who are fab!…
Very very lovely hotel ! Great for couples, lot's of stuff to do and to enyoj. The food is just amazing, the people very very kind and helpful. Never had a experience like this. The only negative thing for me was the little room, it should have at least a door for the toilet.
Had a lovely holiday. I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff in the hotel, as nothing was to much trouble. I was disappointed with the room when we arrived and the receptionist did offer us another room but unfortunately was so much smaller, so we decided to keep the room we were offered. The toilet proved to be a problem as my husband and I felt we had to use the reception toilet several times as having a toilet in the room isn’t something we are used to. Often the food in the restaurant was cold so did eat out several times which seemed unfair as we had paid for half board. I do like a coffee before I go to bed and unfortunately the hotel doesn’t serve hot drinks after ten in the evening. On a more positive note roof top terrace is amazing can always get a sunbed. Staff amazing and cocktails great. Location close to everything. If I were asked if I would return to the hotel it would be yes but would need a better room and would only go bed and breakfast.…
This is written from a disabled perspective, it was not the hotels fault but Jet2 failed to notify the hotel that I was disabled and had a number of issues. Consequently I was placed in the most claustrophobic room possible to imagine. On my third day I was moved to a more suitable room. I must say that in the 10 days I was at the Cupido the staff were amazing and very helpful as best as they could be. If you have mobility problems or have to make use of a wheel chair or walker then this hotel IS NOT FOR YOU. There are numerous small flights of stairs right through this hotel. To get to the swimming pool you have to negotiate 3 small sets of stairs and then there is a ramp???? Down to the swimming pool Getting into the lift was problematic because it is very narrow, it is quite old and somewhat temperamental ...BEWARE!!! The rooms are quite small compared to all other rooms I have experienced over the years. The sliding door over the shower is the only means that there is any privacy when using the toilet!! This apart the room was very clean with house service every day. Again the cleaning staff were very pleasant and kept the room tidy The dining room was clean and tidy the staff helpful and very pleasant. There was a huge selection of fare to choose from and I was not disappointed in all the 10 days of my holiday. Again from a disabled point of view and having to use a walker to help me walk, I found it difficult to navigate from my table both getting into the dinning room and to negotiate to all the pick up points to pick up food. The tables were very close to the pick up points, what with people waiting I had difficulty moving about the room. Again the staff were magnificent. The jacuzzi on the roof was a joke both exits were either too small or blocked with gym apparatus then trying to get up to the jacuzzi one has to climb 2 foot “steps” with a small handrail. The pool I tried once, nice steps going down and then I was out of my depth. I am 5 foot 5 inches and couldn’t touch bottom. ROOM # 115. The room I was initially given. It was clean. That’s all have to say good about it. My “Room” was 10 foot by 7 foot and it house a single bed. A 2 drawer dressing table, a chair a very small 3 foot square and high wardrobe. When I brought my walker into this room I couldn’t get it any further. The toilet and very small shower was through a doorway which I had to walk sideways because the sink encroached into the doorway. The first night my bed turned over whilst I was asleep. After I got up (not easy for me) and looked under the bed the feet were set too far in and it was easy to turn the bed over. The view from my window looked out on a small courtyard of ducting and cables for the rest of the hotel. No sea view no pool view it was miserable. Why a gave three stars was this room should only be used as a box storage. If I were management I would be ashamed to offer this room in any capacity. The staff were brilliant, the hotel clean and tidy. The food superb BUT this is not a hotel for you if you are disabled And as for ROOM #115 Shesh My address is pamfaye1948@gmail.com Regards Pam…
A perfect place to Paguera, great view from top roof and very cozy hotel. Great breakfast, nice swimming pool, lovely lounge and great cocktails. Wonderful area and friendly staff. Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. I love it
A typical low-quality hotel that pretends to be better because of its low refurbishment. Staff is nice and helpful, the hotel is clean, however, the rooms very small, and the scandal is that they offer to couples single rooms with one narrow bed at the wall and toilet directly in the room. Everywhere you see a cost-effective approach to the customer, no water in the room after arrival, no soap in the dispenser... No good restaurant in the area, only fast food or greasy food from the microwaves for the occupying area German turists . Loudly, the typical city beach deprived of the spirit of Majorca, often old blocks around. You have to rent a car to see the real charms of Majorca.
Great hotel, very friendly staff and always happy to help. Felt very safe and comfortable here and really enjoyed sitting outside the front on the sofas with a drink, and very close to the beach! Breakfast had good variety and changed daily. Only slight issue was the small room with awkward bathroom and no closing door that we were first put in, quickly sorted and didn’t affect our stay. Would 100% revisit.
Very nice place to stay, close to beach, close to bulvare, near bus station. Very frendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms, nice swimmingpool and terase. Possibility to rent s car, that was the best idea how to see beauty od Mallorka.
