This is the best run Hotel I have ever stayed in . The food, service and cleanliness was out of this world. All the staff are so friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this hotels to family's with small children and babies and they have incredible facilities. The food and beverage options are fantastic and they use premium products . The hotel operates as self catered , half board and all inclusive . I had the fully inclusive package and was totally satisfied with everything. Each room has a cooktop, toaster, fridge and cutlery/glasses ... The hotel is located only a 5 minute walk from Aldi and also has a small supermarket on site. I recommended going half board as the food is so good though even bed a breakfast works with all the facilities and restaurants within a short walk of the premises. Flawless 8 day stay.

Hotel's Favorite
Stayed here with family in February and everything was just great; the royal terrace room (high floor), the overall cleanliness, the AI-selection and the stuff, who gladly went that extra mile for their customers. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will stay here again.

We are now forever looking at Tripadvisor in search of the perfect Hotel with 5* reviews but not willing to pay over the odds. I know it’s human nature but perfection rarely exists. I did it when looking at this hotel and nearly discarded it from the reviews I read here and I’m glad I didn’t. This is not a 5* hotel, this isn’t a 5* review but that’s not a bad thing. I’ve stayed at 5* hotels that are barely that and in my experience, it’s better to stay in a very good 4*. Your expectations are much more managed. Anyway, quick positives and negatives: Positives - The staff - generally the most at tentative and friendly staff I’ve experienced - Rooms cleaned daily and throughly - Buffet Restaurant - my son has a severe nut allergy and had plenty to eat. Head chef was happy to talk to us before each meal to say what he could and couldn’t eat and even what they could make him specially (breads, deserts or even full meals). They went above and beyond what I expected and made what is sometimes even hardwork in the UK, effortless. The buffet isn’t the largest but everything is cooked fresh in front of you so food isn’t sitting around on a hot plate for hours which is reassuring - Close to the beach - (it’s literally across the road) and lots of restaurants and an Aldi supermarket The negatives - The kids pool with the pirate ship and slides isnt heated and is probably the coldest swimming pool I’ve ever been in. I knew that prior to booking but it’s even colder than I imagined. Even in 30 degree heat it would be too cold - They have a pool bar which has a good choice of drinks during the day but you have to really hunt for snacks between meals and bottles of water after 6pm can only be ordered from the main bar so is a little bit of a faff. I get this is because there are some people who aren’t AI, but it’s water not a soft drink - Entertainment - a little hit and miss. More activities for toddlers/small children would be very welcome. The main entertainment everyday is at 9pm which for small children is a little late especially as they are usually the first ones in for dinner so there is a lot of waiting. Mr.Bubbles was great and of course, Yzzy. Tips - if you have a small child, try and book a pool view room as you’d be able to watch the entertainment from your balcony if your little ones sleep early - You can order from the ala carte at lunch times for free and you get 1 free meal there in the evening (this wasn’t very clear on arrival) - You have to pay €4 a night for a cot bed and for the safe in the room. You can get a portable safe from Amazon and attach the cable on the back of the TV in the bedroom which I thought was much better value

Ideal for families, not recommended for couples unless you are ok with lots of screaming babies and loud kids. One heated pool which gets packed. Other pools freezing cold. Swim up suites would be nice but when anyone can swim in the same pool it’s not very private and certainly not worth paying the extra for. Suites excellent and hotel spotlessly clean. Good choice of food but often barely warm. Food in a la carte restaurant which we ordered was horrible. Beds had towels on the early am and staff did not remove them as they said they would. Wouldn’t visit again unless it became more adult friendly and the pools and food were warmer.

This hotel was ideal for travelling with a young baby. The apartment-style rooms mean you have the flexibility to cook or warm up baby food if needed, and you have a separate living room/bedroom which makes all the difference when your baby needs a nap - plus a balcony to sit on when they do go down. The restaurant offers a wide selection of buffet options. The pool/entertainment and children’s park are all fantastic for young ones. The whole hotel is kept spotlessly clean. I can only say good things about the hotel, however Palmanova is an unremarkable town and appears to exist mainly for tourism. If you are looking for a “Spanish” / cultural holiday destination, consider looking elsewhere. However, if you want sun, beach and a lovely hotel with entertainment for your kids, look no further. This hotel is well located - a 5 minute walk to the beach.
