Following the Covid restrictions, this was a much anticipated family holiday, first holiday in two years. We were six adults, three children and a baby. I realise that reviews such as these are subjective, so let me point out that we are a working class family, on just about average income. We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff are so friendly, professional and helpful. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough for a proper family holiday. Absolutely no complaints or negative comments!

We had a fantastic holiday at this hotel. The room was great, comfy bed, powerful shower, plenty of tv channels, fridge was really handy and the rooftop terrace was simply superb. Brilliant maid service every day. The food was extremely tasty, varied and there was a different carvery option every night. The hotel is perfect for children, particularly younger children. It’s in a great location for the shops and the beach is beautiful. They have some really super staff that make such a difference particularly Tete, Enrique and Francisco! Thank you for a great holiday!

Best family hotel we have ever stayed in. We booked a swim up suite was a lovely treat but our boys never used it they preferred the pool with the bubble which was a big hit with our whole family. Room was 1st class, was worried about pools being cold as I had read alot of reviews about them being cold but they were fine. Hotel staff 1st class. Food 1st class. Location great few minutes walk from beach! Park great. Onsite shop great! Entertainment was great for the whole family and all over by 10pm at night & No noise after in that hotel! We are booking to come back next year again! Only 1 thing as a suggestion maybe more of a games rooms for kids was 1 pool table in foyer could do with some more games. If you want a family hotel with a bit of class zafiro is the way to go! Roll on next year to we get back again 🙂

We have just returned from a week at Zafiro Palmanova. It our first family holiday (kids 7 and 2 years old) and had a very good time overall. Positives: Our pool view room was cleaned daily and was really spacious (we had a corner room which I believe has a bigger area than others). Food in the buffet restaurant was varied every night and always hot. I liked that we were served drinks at the buffet and all came in glass bottles, not draught. It just gave the hotel a slightly more upmarket feel rather than self service machines. Be warned though, they buffet can be pretty hectic at times and with toddlers running about. The restaurant feels slightly small for the numbers. Pool area was a decent size with plenty of sun beds and our 7 year old daughter spent ours on the inflatable bubble! The pirate ship pool was always very cold until it temperature really increased late afternoon. Negatives: The biggest let down for us was the Mini Club. Firstly, the activities were very poor from playing board games to "medal games" e.g. throwing a ping pong ball at paper cups to see how many they can knock over, throwing hoops over cones, just very poor. These activities are advertised as Mini/Maxi club but what older child would want to do anything like that?! I should say my daughter at 7 was by far and away the oldest at the Mini Club but is it any wonder with activities like this on offer... BUT the biggest disappointment of the Mini Club was the staff. We found them to lack any sort of personality and to be quite honest they looked very fed up and uninterested. Usually staff that run kids clubs are very welcoming and bubbly but that wasn't the case here, they barely spoke or even smiled. Overall we did have a really good holiday but I think for the price we paid for 1 week All Inclusive there are much better options out there.

Hotel was great, rooms clean and food ok but pool bar was really bad: warm beer from paper cups, no food and only few ice creams for children. Aircon located in top of the beds so you can not keep it running at night if you don´t want to be sick :( Also pool towels where always "no have" and most of the sunbeds where taken, although everywhere read that the chairs can be reserved for only 40min after which the towels are removed.

We had a little break for 5 nights not been away for a couple of years “covid”we come for my birthday we did self catering but the rooms were amazing staff were lovely, I’ve not got one complaint they even came with a bottle of wine to our room for my birthday I didn’t tell them they must of checked on my booking. It’s the little touches that count and they did that for me, first time any hotel has ever done that. The kids loved it, would definitely recommend it.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at this hotel. We were all inclusive with a pool view room. The food in all restaurants was delicious & they were very accommodating for young children (it was our first holiday with our 1 year old). Pools were very clean & lots of sun beds to choose from - we never had any issues getting sun beds. Room was lovely & spacious with a nice balcony. Staff were 5 star! Nothing was any trouble, they were all so kind & sweet with our daughter. The staff work so hard and we couldn’t fault them. Booking restaurants was initially a bit of a chore (we had to have dinner at the buffet restaurant on our first night as all others were already fully booked or only had tables available at 9pm) however we did find later in the week the managers at the al a carte restaurants were able to change the time of our bookings to suit our 1 year old. More staff are definitely needed at bars during the day & in the evenings as we always had to wait. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would recommend to other young families.

My family and I have recently returned from the hotel and could not fault our stay. The hotel is beautiful and very clean, all staff including lifeguards were pleasant. Plenty of activities for kids. Pools were amazing, our 3 year old spent hours climbing on the inflatable dome and jumping in the pool. Park and bouncy castle were fab! Relaxed environment. No issues! The only downsite was our room location which backed out another hotel or bar and was extremely noisy BUT the noise often stopped at about 2230-2300 ( which isnt late at all, its just our child goes to bed early) so wasn't a big issue.. our room faced onto grass which I liked as it was private however I could not believe how loud the crickets in the grass were at night, usually I'm that exhausted I would sleep straight away but the buzzing was so loud I struggled to sleep- this said it's not a fault with the hotel and nothing they can change, I would request a pool view next time. Overall great for kids and we will certainly be back.
