We stayed here for a week with our daughter, her husband and our twin grandsons who were 11 months old. We booked a swim up room for them and a premium room for us and were allocated rooms almost opposite each other, which was very convenient. The additional cost of the swim up room was easily justified by the ease of access to the almost private swimming lane which was so convenient with the twins, and this room had a huge veranda for us all to sit on and the twins to play. Staff in the restaurant were amazing, very helpful and attentive, they simply couldn’t do enough for us, a big thank you to Oscar, Tete, and the rest of the team. We were on an all-inclusive package and enjoyed the food, particularly the a la carte lunch menu as buffet food, even with freshly cooked main courses can get a bit boring after a week. Bar service was very good, I’d recommend drinking the Menorcan gin, Xoriguer, rather than your usual UK brand, and the chilled rose Spanish wine was refreshing. All in all a great family holiday

Hotel's Favorite
Stayed here with family in February and everything was just great; the royal terrace room (high floor), the overall cleanliness, the AI-selection and the stuff, who gladly went that extra mile for their customers. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will stay here again.

Very helpful staff, adhering to covid rules, printing locator firms and arranging on site testing. Rooms cleaned on daily basis, fabulous swim up room, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Short walk to all amenities, supermarket on site.

Stayed 30th August for 7 nights on AI basis. Arrived into Palma and weather was horrific. Arrived at the hotel and I must say….. please ignore all negative reviews. The hotel is 30% populated and the staff can’t do enough for you. Spotlessly clean in all areas. We originally had pool view 4215 but upgraded to roof top 4317. All of the staff are polite and can’t do enough for you. The food was well above average and the drinks of decent quality. In very strange times this was a welcome break for me and my family. Will definitely return, Thank you Zafiro!

We weren’t aware that this hotel was basically made for kids, else we definitely would not have booked it. We were literally the only couple without kids, until our friends joined us for one night, thank god. We found a pool around the corner that was a bit quieter, but this should be made adults only area in our opinions. It was probably the wrong time of year, we forgot it was kids holiday! Big mistake! Thankfully we only booked 3 nights else we actually wouldn’t have stayed. Anyway. Apart from that, the food was very average, but the drinks were amazing….we definitely made the most of the drinks! Also the staff were really lovely, and cannot fault the cleanliness, or the rooms, apart from the air con was a bit rubbish.

Response from Zafiro Hotels, Owner at Zafiro Palmanova
Responded 2 weeks ago
Dear ejgirling1, Thank you very much for having chosen our hotel for you recent holiday, and for sharing your opinion here. It is of great help for us to know how our guests have enjoyed their stay with us. I am pleased to read your compliments about our staff and of course I will pass them on to them. I will also take you other comments in consideration for future improvements. It is true that our hotel is very suitable for family holidays, but we also receive many couples and groups of friends or sports teams. Depending on the time of the season you fill find more of one or the other. Maybe if you could consider giving us another chance outside the summer holidays, you would get another impression. I promise you the staff will be just as lovely then! Kind regards, Marco Heitinga General Manager Zafiro Palmanova
