Stayed here with my partner for 11 days. I have such a mixed review of my stay in this hotel we did only go bed and breakfast so I cannot comment on the food. Pros- amazing cleansers couldn’t help us enough always made sure our room was spotless. Pool staff and bar staff were very active and friendly they couldn’t do enough for you and always encouraged you to get involved with diffferent activities during the day. Much space around all the pools for both adults and children. Breakfast has a variety of options however waiting time was not the best had to wait for Eggs and toast most days. The location of this hotel is great not a far walked from many great restaurants and the beach and not close enough to the strip to disturb you. Air conditioning was a life saver and the bathrooms were up to great standard with a huge shower. Negatives- this hotel needs to decide whether it is for families and those who are not there to party such as myself or adults wanting to get drunk and party as personally we booked this hotel as the location was not as close to the strip in hopes we would have a more relaxed holiday. However sleepless nights due to young adults screaming , swearing running up and down and he corridors early hours in the morning with children in this hotel it is not acceptable and nothing was done. Lots of stag and hen parties which was overpowering when trying to relax I understand everyone is there to have a good time however when groups are disturbing children and families while doing dares it can be too much. The entertainment at night was not the best especially if you have children so if that is what you are looking for this is not the hotel for you. My final issue is that the key cards never worked for our room we had to get our keys changed multiple times each day for 11 days once I asked the receptionist about this he become very rude blaming me for having it in the sun or next to my phone when this was never the case he was sarcastic and waved goodbye at me when I asked for another card, the reception team were not helpful and need looking into.…
Been here a few times as a group of mixed age friends and have never had an issue. Excited to return after the pandemic. Was open minded to how it would be due to the fact the Hotel only now reopened. Will not be returning which is a shame as have fond memories. Totally not worth the money 🤑 Pros - very spacious communal areas and pool. Plenty of sunbeds each day. Beds made and swept each day. Staff a bit hit and miss, some helpful Excellent location if you want to be 5 minutes away from beach and nightlife. Safe broke, phone didn't work, walked down to reception, had to wait 30 minutes to speak to someone as new people arrived. Only then 15 minutes and fixed. Air con worked well Cons - Food is cold, very sporadic locations of food. There is a variety of food but you spend most of the time looking for what goes with what. Breakfast you have to wait in a que whilst eggs are fried to death individually. Evenings meals are a disappointment , food is cold, I like vegetables with a bit of a crunch but not half raw ! Lived off the fresh pasta but the same option night after night. For a change one night I had a cheese sandwich ! The cheese there always empty, saw a block at the back of a counter so cut myself some with the bread knife. The last night of our stay they had someone in there taking photos of the food and must admit the food was ok that night except for the raw potatoes lol. Pool - the best pool but needing attention, tiles commming off, jacuzzi in the middle not working. Lifeguards pleasant but make up rules as they go. They have activities for kids and seemed very child friendly. A lot of teenagers end of week, a bit like a 18/30 hotel at times with families trying to cope. They do need to decide are they families or party hotel. A lot complained about the noise at night, to be honest I didn't hear a thing really. Cleaners pleasant, I think all they did in our room was replenish towels and make beds. Rooms small, no room to place anything, covered in bruises from bumping into fridge / lecturn thing squashed between wall and bed to patio. Holidays are what you make, but paid top dollar 💰 for hotel and just not up to 4 * Won't be going back…
We have stayed at this hotel number of times but I’m afraid last week will be our last!! The Pro’s The hotel itself is in an ideal position, it’s away from the main strip and party pubs but there are still some places to go around the hotel at night for a drink/ entertainment. There is also a number of supermarkets close to the hotel. 1 opposite the main entrance and 1 outside the back gate that guests of the hotel can use. The pool area is clean and tidy and well maintained. We never had problems finding a sun bed when we returned after a stroll. The pool is very easy to get into in places and at one end there is even a chair hoist to use if required. The Cons The food!!! Breakfast is fine as it is mostly cooked to order or it’s a continental breakfast or fresh fruit etc. The evening meal is a massive disappointment. Like other reviews have said the food is cold and not replenished very often. The choice seems very hit & miss but you would be very hard pressed to find food that is hot enough to eat that isn’t cooked in front of you. (If it hadn’t been for the pasta station I would have struggled to eat an evening meal). The rooms aren’t massive but are kept clean and if anything is reported as faulty they will send someone up in the next 15 mins to check it out or repair. We had an issue with the safe but it was dealt with very quickly. The main issue we had was the noise from 3am onwards. It was horrendous. Party animals from all countries but mostly British running up and down corridors screaming and banging on doors trying to find their friends or a party to go to. Shouting and swearing and playing loud music continued for a good 2 hrs every night for our 7 day stay. The hotel reception seemed to think this was acceptable behaviour when this was pointed out. I’m sure the phones in the room have been disconnected so we are unable to phone reception and report this behaviour. It’s more like a 18-20 holiday hotel now. I know people do like to go out to enjoy themselves as we did on out stay but I’m afraid the teenagers do not understand that other guests do not want to hear about their conquests the previous night like we had to endure. I understand that the Covid lockdown has affected the hotels/island massively with the lack of traveler’s /holiday makers but I honestly think this hotel has totally lost its way. On one hand they are offering children’s activities in the day and encourage families to stay at this hotel and then they are filling it with lively drunken groups of teenagers who want to use it as a party venue every night. I know Magaluf is known for party animals but there are hotels designed for this behaviour and to have it forced upon you when staying at this hotel is not acceptable. The hotel needs to decide if they want to be known as a party hotel or a family hotel as the families I have spoken to that have used this hotel a number of times will not be returning and that’s a shame with what they have been through.…
Hotel was extremely nice, very good facilities. Never had a problem finding sun lounges. Decent breakfast, great location to go to the strip but far enough away that you don’t hear it. Also a 2 minute walk to the beach. However the cleaners were rude, on multiple occasions they would barge into the room without knocking and not leave if we said we didn’t want the room cleaning. On one occasion we had a pair of AirPod pros that we’re taken from the room that we only got back when we chased them down and showed that Find My IPhone said the cleaner had them at this point she returned them. The same cleaner also called a couple of us pigs and snorted at us. But apart from this the trip was fantastic and would use this hotel again.
Overall a positive stay. The staff are friendly, food decent, rooms tidy and clean. Sadly main let down is the guests, obnoxious loud brits (I’m British fyi) in the corridors (shouting, playing music in the actual corridor) at all hours making it impossible to get a decent nights sleep. Not suitable for kids.
What a lovely hotel! Friendly, pleasant staff. Check in was straight forward, staff member did have to ask his boss to clarify something but wasn't a problem... We have all been new in a job before! Entertainment staff - the most dedicated staff I have ever came across, so happy, friendly and so good with the children! They work so hard all day everyday! They honestly made my daughters holiday, she is usually so shy and not confident when joining in with others but she really came out of her shell on this holiday due to how the staff were with her! She got to do amazing activities while at kids club such as Olympic games, water activities, Indian night, making dinosaur eggs, treasure hunts, writing her name in hieroglyphs.... The list goes on! ❤️ She loved the water carpet very much too! I cannot praise the entertainment staff enough! Another thing I loved about the entertainment staff was that they really got to know the children and called them all by their name, just a little thing but made my daughter feel special. I wish I could put into words properly how they made our holiday so special! The room - we could not believe it when we stepped in our room, it was so big!! It was very clean on arrival and cleaned every day thereafter. Towels were also changed every day too. The food - we were bed and breakfast but paid to eat our evening meal there a few nights. My daughter is fussy when it comes to food but there was always something for her. The only thing I would change about the food is more vegetarian options, my son is a vegetarian but it wasn't really a problem as he always got something to fill up on. Maybe put beans on at breakfast too but that's just me 😂 The snack bar food was lovely! Overall a fantastic stay for my children (12 & 8) and I! We loved it that much that we have already booked for next year because of our experience this year! My daughter hopes that the entertainment staff are still the same.... And I do too because Happy children = happy Mam! ❤️…
I had read a few reviews before staying and always take them with a pinch of salt but upon staying here it seems like I will be echoing previous reviews. Pros The location is great- not too close to nightlife for it to be noisy when travelling with kids / older relatives. 5 minute walk from the beach and lots of supermarkets / restaurants and bars near by. Food - we were half board and while the food could sometimes be luke warm it was quite good. Food cooked fresh in front of you and plenty of choice. Entertainment - they worked so hard and really made everyone feel welcome. Only criticism is that they didn't really stick to planned activities or times, so kids/adults were never quite sure if the activities would even happen. Cons Rooms - I have never ever stayed in a hotel room that was so small. The twin room with extra bed was tiny! Could hardly get on the balcony without climbing over the put up bed. We ended up doing some furniture rearranging to make it half manageable and don't get me started on the room keys that never ever worked and this issue was for nearly every guest we spoke to! The main pool- jacuzzi that doesnt work with tiles falling off all over the pool. Lifeguards that make their own rules up as the week went on. No Inflatables or ball games - but it's OK if you are certain nationalities! Staff - noone seems to understand customer service. They just seem so miserable and that's staff all over the hotel. Would not return here or recommend. Stayed in so many lovely hotels in palma nova and magaluff and unfortunately this is not one of them.…
Where do I start? When we arrived, it was bedlam. The reception area is open plan with the bar, entrance to pool area and restaurant. There were large groups of people everywhere who were REALLY noisy. I assumed they were drunk but, as we settled in, we realised they were groups of teenagers. They were noisy throughout the evening but were only there our first night luckily. Anyway, the check in at reception was incredibly slow and I thought the staff were quite rude. They’d stop checking us in to deal with others/talk to each other. A regular interruption seemed to be people paying a 20€ deposit to use the iron (something perhaps you’d expect in a 4 star room). Anyway, when we were finally checked in, the first impressions were that the room was clean but INCREDIBLY small. I understand there is usually some sort of sofa bed for the third person but never been at a hotel where having this out literally blocks the balcony door. You had to climb over the bed to get to the balcony. Also, on the balcony, there were only two chairs so no chance of all three of us sitting out. I went to reception to discuss the room. The initial guy dealing with us understood and was trying to help but then an incredibly rude guy called Miguel interfered and said all rooms are the same unless we pay a 60€ supplement PER DAY to upgrade. Of course I refused. Beyond the size of the room, we were disappointed there were no extra blankets as the kids got cold in the night with air con (but having it off made room stuffy). There were also hardly any plugs or surface space to put things. This included the shower area which had nowhere to put soap or shower gel etc. Whilst the room appeared clean at the start, we weren’t impressed with the cleaning during our stay. Bins were done and towels changed (although they regularly forgot we had three in our room as we had to request a third towel) but the floor wasn’t always swept. Also, our beds were made but never with clean sheets. After our second night, I questioned this and Miguel, in reception, was incredibly rude again. However, I told him one of the kids had an accident the night before so he said he’d get clean sheets. We went out but they never did this! It was too late when we got back to sort so I had to ask AGAIN on the next day. Beyond rooms, we had breakfast included and the restaurant was average. Some nice food but a bit hit and miss. Most of it luke warm and not much of it labelled. The staff need more training as they either don’t clear plates or try to clear while you’re still eating. At the serving stations, we saw staff flick food off plates and leave them there rather than remove them and staff touching food with hands. The pool was large and clean. The kids loved this. I was shocked when they were swimming one day and a member of staff asked them to collect a glass from an island in middle of pool. I intervened and said no as didn’t want them swimming with glass. There was a kids club and entertainment in the evenings. However, there were no boards or welcome books in the rooms advertising programmes or start times so you never knew what was on or when. This meant we missed most of it. It’s a shame as the hotel is in a great location but the customer service is dire and the hotel feels like it’s open as a building but nobody really knows what’s going on. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.…
A friend and I stayed here last week for 5 nights on arrival the checkin was chaos people waiting to be served the staff not really knowing what rooms were ready etc, when finally getting into our room we had no complaints it was lovely, we weren’t given any program of any entertainment so we didn’t see anything the pool/ bar area was packed with lots of dirty tables, the evenings were like other people have said very noisey with groups of teenage children running up and down corridors and shouting slamming doors etc, what I will say is that the cleaning ladies did a grand job and they looked exhausted as they were short staffed well done ladies, would go back there but I think it wasn’t ready to open just yet.
4 star hotel but 2 star treatment. My friend and I chose to stay at this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights, we booked the sol pool view room. Our easyjet flight was delayed and we were supposed to arrive for 9pm, when we arrived it was around 11pm and we had missed dinner due to the restaurant closing at 9:30pm. We couldn't call to inform the hotel of this due to our phones having no signal, as we paid for half board and missed dinner that day we had asked if we could have lunch on our final day as compensation to which we were told we couldn't and there was nothing they could do, we felt there was no sense of sympathy or customer care from the hotel staff and felt they had a rude attitude towards us in general. On top of this, when we arrived our room had a very bad smell so we complained, asking for a room change. We were told we couldn't change it and to come back tomorrow to see if there were checkouts. We came back the next day and were told the hotel was at full capacity and that again, there was absolutely nothing they could do to help us. Later, we believed this was a lie as we searched to see if we could book a room online and we could, we could also see by number of guests at the restaurant, the number of checkouts & the empty sun-beds that the hotel was definitely not at full capacity. We were very frustrated at their lack of sympathy or willingness to help us compared to the nicer treatment of other guests we noticed. We asked to see the guest manager multiple times and with each time were told to come back later until finally being told he is not here and that "he has a life", all we wanted was to change rooms and instead of granting us with a simple room change we were treated poorly, rudely and were given no alternatives. We went to reception a third time and finally a receptionist said she would send a technician up - but when I asked a few hours later if he was sent up, we realised she hadn't even logged the complaint the whole time and only when I asked again did the technician finally get sent up to then do a 5 minute job of putting bleach down the toilet to get rid of the horrible smell. The hotel description also mentions a jacuzzi in the pool - this was not the case, it was a normal pool. Additionally, lifts stopped working for a while and there were noisy guests from multiple school groups arriving. Aside from these issues, the food was generally okay, the room was fairly nice and the entertainment was very good, it is just a shame that the staff were not treating us with respect, we felt we were not being taken seriously.…
