Deia is a remarkable hill village in the mountains of Mallorca . Villa Verde is a traditional hostal right in the middle of this ancient place. The theme is very traditional, our room was full of lovely old furniture , in fact the four poster bed was very like the one in the museum in Lluc Monastery! Breakfast is taken...

Room with dark bathroom, no balcony. Very hot at night . No fan. Arrived at 8pm. Not a particularly friendly reception and confusion over booking. I stayed before, 5 years ago, and it seemed better then. Breakfast is basic and set out on self service trays with no fresh ingredients other than apples or bananas. No choice of yoghurt. Bread...

The stay was for 6 nights and this Hostal was used as the base for trips to Sa Foradada, Cap de Formentor, Pollenca, Soller, Fornalutx and of course Cala de Deia. The Hostal is on a narrow road so it's best to drive up to the church, keep it on your right and drive down with the Hostal on the...

The Hostal is very nice! Not luxurious but enough to spend a few days in this beautiful village we fell in love with. The big plus of this Hostal is definitely the terrace and the outstanding view on the mountains. Breakfast is fine and the rooms are ok too. Great quality price for high season!

POSITIVES: Location in Deia perfect Building beautiful inside and out Bedroom pretty and rustic The added bonus of a private terrace with an incredible view which we weren't expecting - I think it was room 14. NEGATIVES Breakfast was basic, would be nice to introduce more varied, good quality, local produce and good coffee Tap in bedroom didn't work properly...

We stumbled on the shaded terrace of this hostel and had delicious coffee and almond cake sitting under the gnarled old olive trees that provide the shade from the scorching sun. The children had sorbet served in hollowed out lemons. Wonderful place!

Words cannot express how much we loved this hotel - views, generosity, peace, host ethics, can do attitude, at your service. SUBLIME. Only regret is not sampling the sumptuous sangria on offer. Could do with air con..... Sad to have left, we really left a piece of our hearts at the villa verde Goodbye, for now

We stayed for one week in a nice apartment. Actually we practically stayed for one week on the balcony .. the view was so amazing! The apartment had everything we wanted/needed. Maybe except for an air-condition, but we managed fine with the available fan. The host couple was very friendly and made an excellent sangria. They sensed our wish for...

Stayed for 1 night B&B when we hired a car for 2 says to explore the mountains. Amazing views, beautiful setting, crisp clean linen, good breakfast. Friendly, reasonable price... Would have rated it 5 but in August it needed a fan in the room as it was hot overnight. Much nicer than the hotel we were based in on the...

Excellent location and amazing views. We were pleasantly surprised with our room - no. 5. Walked in and there was a small kitchen and a sizeable terrace to sit outside and take in the fantastic scenery. The only thing that would make this perfect would be air conditioning! It did get extremely hot during the night. Would definitely return.
