This was in stark contrast to the interior facilities which were impressive, as was the hotel in general, with first class food and excellent service, but the room with no view was a let down. We made a few attempts to be moved but were told, apologetically, that the hotel was full and 'we had a pleasant garden!' We would highly recommend the hotel - its staff, food, attention to detail were faultless - but beware of the room with no view.

A fantastic family hotel in which we felt like extended family. A la carte menu was the best we have had whilst on holiday ANYWHERE. You must go half board if you can, it's absolutely worth the extra. No fuss, no frills just excellent service throughout. Close to the beach which is 100 metres away. Most clients are returning holidaymakers. We will definitely be in that bracket. Couldn't find fault anywhere. Just book and enjoy.

The whole hotel is perfectly organized. You can tell that everything is planned with love and reason. The employees are happy at work, you can tell. We spent 5 nights in October in this beautiful, luxurious hotel. The booked junior suite, the garden area and all rooms convince. We can confirm everything, top hotel, with empathetic staff.
All under the management of a Swiss family, in which the next generation has taken over the precision of the parents.
There was live music in the form of a piano player in the evenings in the bar by the fireplace. Hikes were offered. There was also the new SPA area, which we were happy to use because of the bad weather.
The free wine tasting surprised us. A large selection and a very informative explanation by the house sommelier. He takes every guest into account. Small tapas too. We have never experienced anything like it in a hotel.

A truly wonderful small hotel and one we feel very lucky to have found. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the pool area is peaceful and delightful and the food was really very special. What really makes it is the staff. Always with a smile and a helpful manner, they couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast is outstanding (the buffet comes to you! My idea of heaven) and the dinners were just fabulous. A great selection of fresh, original dishes all made to perfection. I get the point some others have made about it being a very German dominated hotel. It was! But it really wasn’t an issue. Every member of staff switched to English for us and the owner was just as happy to chat to us as to the other clientele (who were all very pleasant). It’s a very quiet, relaxed place in a quiet and peaceful part of the island. For us, for a short break, it couldn’t have been better. Oh and the spa. What a lovely delight that was too. We visited this hotel restaurant for an anniversary meal whilst staying nearby. The kind & friendly receptionist had obviously told the restaurant staff, as our table was decorated with flowers & we were made to feel very special. Wonderful attentive service & superb, tasty food….we loved it and would welcome a chance to return (and maybe stay a night or two next time!) We visited the hotel mid July and stayed for almost 2 weeks. The service was one of the best, food at restaurant is delicious and they provided gluten free options. They were flexible as we needed early breakfast for the children.
Enjoyed pre-dinner drinks by the pool side, great selection of Spanish wines, whilst listening to the pianist.
They took care to ensure the safety of their guests over Covid period. It's a beautiful hotel, well located and close to the beach and the town centre. I highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I arrived here on Sunday evening 05 June. We are having a lovely relaxing holiday in this beautiful hotel. Very few English speaking guests/staff but the staff are exceptional. On Sunday 12 June my husband sadly fell down the stairs from the roof top terrace. He missed his footing and landed in a heap knocking himself unconscious, thankfully only for a few moments. He was dazed and with the help of a kind guest and also Jurgeon, a very kind and reassuring member of staff we got him to our room. The staff called three times within the evening to inquire how he was and also how I was. Nothing too much trouble. They sent us a beautiful basket of fruit and when the Dr came, one of the lovely receptionists came to our room to translate for us. The food is delicious. We are well travelled and cannot remember such a delightful breakfast being served to us. Every member of staff who we have seen asks how my husband is feeling. We are overwhelmed by their kindness towards us. Tonight we had dinner and it was also delicious and beautifully presented. A memorable meal. We will be very happy to return and recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, classy and luxury hotel Only negative is the amount of mosquitoes. Perhaps this is due to the current heatwave ….
