Every year we go to Tres Playas at Colonia de San Jordi ! Beautiful and the service is excellent ! They make you feel really at home ! We are not considered as a number ! The owner of this paradisiatic hotel should be very proud of Mr. Christophe the Director of the hotel and his excellent employees ! The food is delicious with their excellent chief! Alexandra and her ladies at reception are always helpful and smiling ! Luis and Manuel with their equipe are fabulous and serving us always with a smile in their faces and caring if everything is okay ! The Chief in the kitchen considered to be for us like Chevrier in Europe with his personnel are excellent ! After having a delicious dinner one feels so light ! The excellent barman with his excellent drinks as Pinã Colada ! Carmen the housekeeping chief is always making your room shine with her excellent ladies! BRAVO ! Best regards from Said and Karen 😘…
Since 4 years we Come back to this Hotel. The view is fantastic from the balcony. The Dinner is fantastic outside near the Beach and while You are having Dinner, You See the Sunset. This is one of the Main reason why we go there yearly. You feel an internal Peace while You are having a wonderful Dinner. We cant describe How nice It is. Since 15 years, we always go to Colònia St Jordi but to differents Hotels. This is the best one. The Second reason that we go to this area is the Sand Beach. Only 5 min by Walking. Until last year, they had 2 very good chiringuitos Where You could had a wonderful lunch. Unfortunately, they are not there anymore. Only 1 Kiosk for Sandwich and a new Italien Restaurant 5Illes. Very unfreundly People and the spanish paella we ordered, was horrible. Now there is no Place to have a nice lunch. What a Pity …
If you are or speak German or Swiss you are welcome. If you "belong to the club" you are welcome. The "manager, director or whatever (failed utterly in the politeness to present himself)" did not even try English as a communication language. But that was only him. Everybody else tried as much as they could to speak English and communicate with us. The staff was great and helpful, rooms very clean and comfortable. No Internet to talk about (even if you get a password at check in). Breakfast is buffet with various choices. Many bread types and cookies, boiled eggs (only hard boiled) or scrambled eggs, cheese , ham and salami and dried fruits and nuts for the yoghurt. On request only you could get fried eggs (if you found out it is possible and ordered). Missing totally and surprisingly were the fresh vegetables. Tomatoes, cucumbers and onion were fresh and some fruits. No fresh vegetables on the plates in the evening either. Canned carrots, haricots vert etc. felt strange in the middle of the summer in Mallorca. No fresh (orange) juice either. All juice from the pack or bottle. Dinner is "a la carte" and most German and north European cuisine. Not so much Spanish. Impeccably served and presented. In general a good, quiet and clean hotel with a great view. Few days per week shows are organized for the guests. …
This hotel offers a good restaurant which is rare in Mallorca for an hotel. The continental breakfast offers a large choice of various food. Croissants, various cheeses, various breads, eggs, bacon, cakes, fruits, cereals, hams, etc. For people having chosen half-board, the breakfast gives the opportunity taking a real and varied meal. The diner is served outside on the terrasse / garden. The first dish is a buffet of various vegetables, the 3 other dishes are served on table. The staff of the restaurant and at reception is very efficient and particularly plaisant. For people where an internet connection is important, this hotel should be avoid. There are 2 PCs on duty at the reception. The wifi is not working anywhere you are located on the floors or on any of the 3 buildings. Even at reception, the wifi is not working which is for a 4 stars hotel something I would say unacceptable. The hotel is very quiet and well located. The rooms are simple with flat TV, a king size bed with 2 matresses, safe (additional fees). The room furnitures are very simple and "austere" without any particularly originality. The bathroom is small and the plumbing deserves to be refreshed. A nice garden is surrounding the hotel. Some beach chairs and parasols are offered to the clients when the customers decide to stay at the hotel and to swimm at the swimming pools or in front of the hotel on the rocks. Chairs and parasols at the hotel are not included and additional fees will be billed. A pianist or sometimes a band will accompany the diner in the garden. The hotel owns 2 swimming pools. A salt swimming pool inside the hotel and a large swimming pool in the garden in front of the sea. The hotel is located very near from the famous "Es Trenc" beach, probably the most beautiful and wild beach in Mallorca (no buildings, no roads, no parkings and a wild reserve behind the beach). After a short walk from the hotel (less than 5 minutes) you'll arrive at a first beach where the sea is quiet but unhappily very populated. By following this first beach, and after a 15 to 20 minutes walk you'll arrive to the "Es Trenc" beach. A 3 km long beach of white sand where the sea is as blue as a swimmingpool.…
