We had an absolutely fantastic two week holiday in this hotel. We stayed in a sea view suite and our two sons stayed in a twin room. Everything is brand new and works perfectly, the whole place is immaculate with a visible cleaning regime. In this period of Covid it was very comforting that our whole room including the terrace was deep cleaned on a daily basis. The breakfast room is delightful with opened windows making it bright and breezy. We used the top floor terrace for various dinners and lunches, they have an extensive tapas menu and live music most evenings. The view from the top floor is spectacular particularly at sunset. With two pools, a large one on the ground floor terrace and a new plunge pool on the roof, it never felt crowded. All the staff are very friendly and efficient. We would recommend this hotel for families and couples. The location is ideal for the beach and easy walking distance to the town centre and restaurants. Brilliant, we'll be back next year hopefully

This was our second visit to the Villa Chiquita, after two years, and we liked more tan ever.
It is a very easy place to stay. The hotel is flexible and the staff are universally friendly and helpful – Luis on reception and Carme the General Manager stood out from a very high general standard. The place is absolutely gorgeous with plenty of space and places to sit and relax. The rooms are large and very confortable. There is a big pool with plenty of sun loungers on the ground floor, an other one covered in the spa and an amazing infinity pool with astonishing views to “Es Trenc” beach on their new rooftop.
A very special THANK YOU to Philipp and Saskia who got the ability to make every one feeling special at the rooftop bar. Their care and kindness towards us and other guests it was very very special. Always there to help and suggest and always with a big smile on his face (obviusly behind the mask) they made us a feel very welcomed.
Even the other guests were friendly and interesting.
The food is Delicious utilizing fresh ingredients with many Mallorca traditions in mind. From starters to dessert, the presentation is artistic while everything is mouthwatering and memorable. The selection of wines are also impressive and the attentive waiters -special mention to Esther- make wonderful suggestions if you want them. The breakfast setting is absolute beautiful, you can enjoy fresh fruit, breads, local honeys and jam, cheeses, meats and so much more.
Maybe, one of the most important thing nowadays is the cleanless of the common areas and rooms, you can feel the security and desinfection of every single space. The location of the hotel could not be better, in a very paceful area and next to the best beaches in the south of the island.
A fabulous, extremely clean and safe place for when you just need to get away for a bit of sun and relax.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic week at Hotel Villa Chiquita. After lengthy Covid travel restrictions we wanted a week in the sunshine with safe, quality accommodation. After a thorough search of the island we decided on Chiquita and we were not disappointed. We had a junior suite on the 1st floor, it was well equipped (fridge, Nespresso machine, bottled water etc) and had lots of storage for our belongings including a very large number of clothes hangers in the his and hers wardrobes which were very welcome.
The bathroom had two large basins, a great shower and plenty of soap gel.
The hotel practices very strong Covid precautions with QR codes used in the bars and restaurant in place of physical menus. All staff wore masks at all times and there were many hand gel dispensers around the place. The hotel offers online check in to speed up arrival and also online checkout-something all hotels should employ
We took the half board option and enjoyed fantastic food every night. They have a super set menu of meat/veggie/vegan/fish dishes supplemented with daily chefs specials of traditional Mallorcan dishes. We tried many of the ever changing specials and enjoyed them all particularly the super fish dishes-monkfish, halibut, tuna and my favourite the octopus.
Restaurant staff were well trained, attentive and displayed great comradeship within the team. Special mention goes to Claudia, Laura and Reyes led by their manager Esther.
We enjoyed many fantastic Classic Mojitos up on the roof watching the sun set.
We are just booking our next visit to Chiquita (June 2022) and we can’t wait to return
The Estanys beach is 5 minutes walk from the hotel and is very good, gently shelving sand and gin clear water. It’s patrolled by lifeguards and has sun beds and parasols to rent for the day if you so wish. The hotel also has beach equipment for guests to borrow.

We went on our first post pandemic flight in October 2021 to Mallorca to see family but also to grab a few days to ourselves. We booked Hotel Villa Chiquita online as it looked like a beautiful boutique hotel and at great value. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice. What a great find! We booked a junior suite which as spacious and comfortable. It had duel balconies with views on opposite sides allowing you to see the sun setting over the sea on one side and the moon rising on the other! We were also lucky enough to see a ‘blood moon’ during our stay. The rooftop lounge with bar and dipping pool is great and offers spectacular views. A gorgeous beach with a large stretch of golden sand is about 5 minutes walk away and the centre of the town with port area and restaurants is an easy 20 minutes walk. Didn’t eat at the restaurant, but the food we ordered at the rooftop lounge and room service gave good indications of the kitchen. Breakfast was included in our rate and we were delighted to find it was not just the standard buffet, but also hot food cooked to order. One morning we woke late and missed breakfast by 10.30am. We emerged at about 11.30am and asked at reception if we could get some coffee before we headed to the beach. They kindly sat us at a table by the pool and brought us not only coffee, but juice and a plate of pastries! The single best feature of hotel is its staff who were always friendly, responsive and welcoming. Special mentions go to Phillip at the bar, Becky at reception, Andreu and Noelia at the restaurant. For those nervous about COVID, the hotel enforces mask wearing in public areas and employs lots of sensible precautions as well as plenty of sanitiser positioned around. If there were a few small issues it would be that none of the 3 pools were appropriately heated. Not an issue in the height of summer, but in October it would have been welcomed if at least one was (possibly the one on the rooftop?) We had a couple of minor room issues - the coffee machine didn’t work well and the air conditioning needed servicing as it wasn’t very effective (but we didn’t really need it in October). Both easily fixed. All in all an excellent stay and we look forward to returning in the future

The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful (especially appreciated Stephanie at the front desk). The Junior suite, sea view on the second floor was great, with a nice balcony. The bed (two twins pushed together) was firm and very comfortable; linens, robes, and towels were high quality; and the breakfast was especially good (first rate buffet and in addition, can order hot made-to-order dishes) and plentiful. The rooftop open air lounge was a wonderful place to grab a drink/meal and watch the glorious sunset over the water. The overall ambiance, contrary to most of the big hotels in the area, was of a large boutique hotel, and this was a fine choice for this area and would choose it again. Also, there is a wonderful long boardwalk that borders the area along the water, that is a fine for a relaxing (or safe for jogging) space to meander, especially near sunset, although you might want to use mosquito repellent at that time of day. HOWEVER, there are two issues worth noting. "Parking" is limited to under 10 spaces for over 40 units (and there is a daily charge if you can score one of their spaces) and otherwise, you may have to walk a bit to find a street parking space (this hotel is part of a cluster of hotels in the area). "Air conditioning" is an incomplete description. The room "thermostat" does not control the temperature in the room, only the speed of the air from the central air vent in the wall, and the air temperature itself is only somewhat cool. We were here in late May, early June, and the breeze at night through the open patio door was cool enough to make sleeping comfortable, but those who like it cooler than 74F or so, might have an issue.

First of all the staff at this hotel are all. Fantastic! We received a wonderful warm welcome on check in and nothing was ever too much trouble for any of them all throughout the hotel. Never have I stayed somewhere with more attentive, happy and friendly staff. Our junior suite was perfect, modern, clean, stylish and a nice view of the sea. Only criticism was that the air con never felt very cold despite us having it on the lowest setting. We did mention this and they said someone would take a look but not sure what was done as it didn't make any difference. Still it wasn't a deal breaker so.... Breakfast was lovely and we appreciated the cava to make us feel that bit special. Lots of lovely fresh pastries and fruit, cheese, meats and you could also order additional from the hot menu. The roof top sunset terrace is a must and we were lucky to catch some beautiful sunsets. The cocktails and food were good too. The beach was gorgeous with soft sand and clear turquoise water. We did walk along to es Trenc which was quite a hike but very beautiful. Shame no shuttle to take you there. Only a short walk to lots of shops, restaurants and bars and about 20 mins to the port. Only thing would suggest is to heat the downstairs pool and to clean/replace the tiles in it as some were a bit rusty looking... Very minor criticism however. This is a lovely hotel, situated in a beautiful part of the island. We treated ourselves to a Junior Suite, with a sea view and were not disappointed. The night light in the bathroom area is a very good idea and should be adopted by all hotels! “People make places.” All the staff at Villa Chiquita helped to make our stay enjoyable and memorable – they are a credit to themselves and the hotel. We did not expect English to be spoken – certainly not with fluency and humour. Behind the scenes staff are also to be complimented. The quality and presentation of the food we received was excellent. We were also pleased with the thorough cleaning of our rooms’ and changing of linens, which made us feel safe. We are looking forward to returning next year.

I came to Villa Chiquita to celebrate my 10 year wedding anniversary with my husband and I had a wonderful very romantic time. I definitely recommend this Hotel. Firstly, the location is great. It is situated in my favourite part of the Colonia saint Jordi, which is quiet and only 5 minutes walk to a beautiful and unspoiled white-sand beach. The hotel is facing west, so it has one the most spectacular sunsets and views of the see I have ever seen. This definitely makes up for the fact that It is a little far from the port (15 minute walk) and most restaurants (10 minutes). However this is really not a problem as the food in the hotel is good and there is a small supermarket and a few restaurants nearby. The feel of the hotel is very modern, clean and stylish. My room was also very nice. It had a see view and the views were stunning. The service was excellent and the staff friendly and very helpful. The rooftop bar with its small pool is amazing and very cool at anytime of the day. The serve really good cocktails. I will definitely would like to come back to Villa Chiquita.

Villa Chiquita is a relatively small hotel - it has very individual feel and it’s accommodation is immaculate. We had a wonderful, restful stay! In the current climate of concern around coronavirus, the hotel is well-organised and it has made every effort to give customers the confidence they need to enjoy a restful break. Staff are friendly and helpful. You do of course have to accept that some things are different and may take longer. For example, breakfast is no longer a self-service event but there is still good choice and I have to say, there is far less waste. Dinner is limited to a set menu but there is also the choice of simpler meals on the hotel’s stunning sunset roof bar. We couldn’t get enough of the views here. The ambience of this hotel is wonderful and to be recommended to those who favour a quiet restful break! Definitely going again!

Villa Chiquita unfortunately does not live up to the expectations set by all the glowing reviews on Trip Advisor. It is a perfectly pleasant, hotel with average facilities. It is located around a ten minute walk from the centre of the town and a twenty minute walk from the port where a lot of restaurants are to be found. Fortunately they do have bicycles that they hire out that significantly reduce the time to get to both the town and the port.
My wife and I stayed in a Junior Suite with a sea view. The room was a reasonable size, but looked in need of bring up to the 21st century. Everything was quite basic, there was no sense of luxury. The bed was comfortable. The shower had good pressure. The air-conditioning was ineffective. When I discussed this with the front office, I was told that this was because their air-conditioning unit didn't have sufficient capacity to cool all the rooms in the hotel and that I could try opening the window.
The breakfast was unexceptional. The service to the table was slow and unreliable. The coffee was from a Nespresso machine rather than an espresso machine.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We just arrived home after a month long holiday. If you call the hotel, they will put you in contact with the shuttle service they have confidence in. We rented a car through Sixt.
There are more places to choose from in the Colonia de Sant Jordi area.
