We are here now on a 10 day break and it's one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Staff in particular have all been cheerful, efficient and polite. Food has been plentiful, varied and tasty covering a range of nationalities. Hotel is immaculately clean everywhere. I saw a comment that rooms were dated which I disagree with. I think the rooms are very modern and well equipped (although no tea/coffee making facilities). I think it is the colour choice of bedding that dates it. See pictures, beds are spotless white bottom and top sheets with a soft caramel throw and pale gold throw on top. Maybe different colour rather than caramel would look less dated but all very very clean. Bathrooms equipped with hairdryer which is a plus. Some rooms have bath, shower toiled and bidet, others have just toilet & shower cubicle but all very clean. Hotel location is a 90 minute bus journey from Palma but bus from St Jordi to change for Palma at Campos are hourly and only a 5 minute walk away. Total cost for one person one way was 10.50 euros. Hotel has breathtaking views across the bay from all rooms, no need to peep between buildings due to hotel being on the tip of the shore. Pic of view from balcony uploaded. All rooms have large balconies with glass fronts so no view is spoilt. I like the quirky low envelope windows as you walk up the stairs that enable you to see out across the bay. The hotel is surrounded by a rocky outcrop with lots of rock pools and metal steps for you to get into the sea safely. There is sea front 'boardwalk' which if followed in either direction will lead you to a beautiful sandy cove with shops and restaurants. Local shops for holiday gifts, supermarkets & restaurants / cafes are on Primavera only 5 mins walk away. Car/ motorbike cycle hire on Primavera (main Street) One day car hire with insurance was 53 euros. Very recommended.

Had a lovely stay here at the end of May and start of June. The whole team created a friendly and relaxed vibe even though the hotel was busy.
On arrival my case was safely stored until check-in time with everything ready for me at 2pm.
The room was a reasonable size with a full bathroom and plenty of storage space. Towels for the pool area were in the wardrobe with decent sized towels also provided in the bathroom. Soap, body wash and shampoo were provided.
There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room with some water provided on arrival. The fridge was useful to store my own water and other drinks.
I slept comfortably each night and was able to manage the temperature in the room either by opening the window or by setting the air conditioning to a temperature that suited me.
Wifi was good throughout the hotel which is not always the case in larger hotels.
The breakfast buffet was excellent and set us up for the day. It was busy but with the trays of food regularly refreshed and an "egg" chef on duty there was plenty of choice whether you got down early at 8am or waited till later in the service which finished at 10.30.
The bar and pool areas are pleasant and friendly. There is a ladder into the sea that is easily accessed from the rocks. Stay out of the puddles on the rocks to avoid slipping.
The location of the hotel suited us well with easy access to the boardwalk or into town or local beaches via numerous routes.
The hotel rooms all have sea views with glass panelled balconies and furniture where you can enjoy the colours at sunset or sunrise as well as throughout the day.
The Transunion Shuttle service to and from Palma airport drops off and picks up passengers from the hotel so is a good option as long as you remember to book it in advance.
I will definitely be checking out availability for my next trip to CSJ and will happily recommend this hotel to friends.

If you are looking for fantastic sea views from every room and the sound of the sea 24/7 than you are in perfect place. It is quieter area in terms of entertainment and night time but we liked that. There is a decking walk for miles right around the shore and many people run, walk , cycle around here. We paid 300£ pp all in which is cheap and we cannot complain. Yes the room was small and perhaps not 4* and would do with some updating but no doubt would of been more expensive if nicer . Staff was super friendly and polite , food was delicious and great pool for families and adults. We booked excursion to Caves of Drach via hotel for 130 euros ( 2 adults, 1 child) , got picked up by minibus , driven an hour to caves giving us opportunity to see more of the inland Mallorca and had a great day out. You can easily walk within 15 min to lovely harbour for sheltered from the sea breeze sand beach and shops or the other way to another sand beach near by. Shops in town also short walk. There are few mosquitoes around so be prepared. Area in general is clean and looked after. If you are coming of season wetsuits are handy as bit chilly to swim but that’s normal giving the climate here in April. We would happily come again.

Hello I have just stayed at this hotel for a week from 28/5/22 to 4/6 me and my 2 friends believed we had booked a triple room ( through booking.com) to find we only had a small double with a 3rd bed crammed in. We were met by various unhelpful responses from the reception staff to be told they do not have any triple rooms so booking.com should not of booked you in.and you should of booked directly. Not helpful! We asked for several days to be moved or alternately to have a additional room. ( which we willing to pay for ) We were just told to try again tomorrow.on this went that we gave up after 3 days ( which is what they wanted to happen) The manager refused to come and speak to us and we were given very little help from the remaining staff. The only helpful member was Dennis who did try to help where he could. The room was cramped and dangerous with very little room to store our clothes that we were unable to unpack. Which meant the room could not cleaned fully ( although the cleaners did try there best) We had to request several times for a kettle which I was reassured would be provided through a communication made prior to our visit. When this did arrive it was difficult to access a plug safely to use. We also had to request for a outdoor chair fir the balcony as only 2 were available as it was only a double room NOT A TRIPLE There were barely enough room to open the door on entry and difficult to access the bathroom We paid for Bed and breakfast and on for our last day requested a breakfast to take away with us as we were leaving before open for breakfast as we had paid more for our holiday than originally quoted from booking.com. This request was refused Also on the day we were leaving there was only had 1 wet floor sign near the entrance which could not be seen from exiting the elevator. When a member of our group exited the sign could not be seen from the elevator causing her to slip and fall into the floor. When she stated that more wet floor signs were needed she was told there is one over there. Throughout the stay we were given off hand and inconsistent answers We have been refused any compensation even though the cost we were originally quoted had significantly increased. I have addressed this concern through. Booking.com to be met with no compensation is to be had and to just complete a review for future travelers. It is a shame as the hotel itself is lovely and in a great location. We were part of the swim festival as this is a recommended Hotel. The reason we chose it. If you do or are booked I suggest you book direct and no bigger than a double.

Where do I start? Majority of the bar staff are very rude and will serve any Spanish people before English visitors regardless of how long you’ve been waiting. Not only do they need more bar staff they need more entertainment during the day/evening (although there is a man there handling everything on his own Jordi, and he is AMAZING! We loved him! He made our stay bearable so huge credit to him!) The showers stopped working, and when they finally came back on after a day or so we had no hot water for the rest of our stay (4 days) we also had a horrid sewage smell coming from our bathroom which actually caused me to throw up multiple times due to how bad it was. When the house keeping would come into our rooms to “clean”, they would just make the beds. Our whole stay no one replenished our coffee, sugar, water or towels. The food was pretty much the same selection everyday (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and they were not very specific about what it was so I actually ended up unknowingly putting seafood in my mouth, and I absolutely hate seafood! Not to mention that a lot of the plates were actually filthy… And once again some of the staff were just rude. For a place that has literally nothing in the area (although you do state that there are plenty of things to do) you would expect there to be more things at the hotel for people and more entertainment. More annoying that we walked 10 minutes down the path to an all Spanish hotel where there was live music and entertainment every evening and places for the children to play… but all we had was a pool! And not to mention that in the pool you are strictly not allowed to do anything but swim (and the bottom was filthy). As for entertainment, I just want to emphasis on how much of an amazing job Jordi did all by himself trying to keep us all entertained. But for a “4*” hotel there should be a lot more! You also state that you have “gardens” and “a playground” and “multiple pools”… I did not see any of those so that is false advertisement. We spoke to a few families to came to stay when we were there and they explained how disappointed they were as you advertised this as a “family hotel” but their children were bored stiff and had to travel over an hour on public buses to take their kids out to keep them occupied, they couldn’t wait to go home… and we heard this from every family/young people that came. The beaches where subpar unless you’re willing to walk 45 minutes to actually get to any half decent area! We also heard a family mention that for one person at Marine world (which was over an hour away also) was one price for English and half price for anyone who is Spanish… and it was the same at the aquarium, and some shops too!- which not sure if it’s just me but that is discrimination and rather unfair! I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone and if you are reading this and thinking about booking… don’t. Unless you’re looking for a boring hotel with rude staff & residents and rubbish food.
I usually don’t write complaints and I am usually quite easily satisfied, but this holiday has left a very sour taste as we had been looking forward to this for months and it was just disappointing from start to finish.
Jordi is the only good thing about this hotel and we wish him very well and will miss him dearly.

Dear customer, First of all thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. We are glad to hear that Jordi the entertainer was charming and you enjoyed the entertainment at the hotel. In reference to your complaints, we are very sorry for what happened during your stay. However, under no circumstances do our staff cater for guests on and the first that arrives is the first who is served and not by the nationality of the client. Regarding to the water in the hotel had to be cut off one morning for maintenance work, we apologise for the three hours that it was out of order, after which it was restored. Regarding the cleaning, the maids clean daily unless you leave the do not disturb sign hanging on the door of your room. On the subject of the room, we would like to point out that the coffee and tea offered in the room are a welcome courtesy from the hotel, which means that if you want extra coffee or tea you have to pay for a refill. Also, regarding the Marine World issue, the hotel has nothing to do with Marine World, it is an external company and the issue of rates should be discussed with them. Finally, we would like to point out that none of our advertisements state that the hotel has multiple swimming pools, as it only has one pool. Yours sincerely,

Still here at the time of writing this review. We came as a family of 5 with another family of 4. We were all inclusive but when I say all inclusive there are issue. I can't go to the bar and order 5 drinks at a time only 1 if your lucky 2 at a time so if you've kids they need to go up to the bar. They will only have 1 member of staff working during busy times so you find it hard to get served. There's a pool but you're not allowed to have fun. No balls, inflatables or water guns. Even the kids can't be in the kids pool jumping in for toys that sink to the bottom. The bar staff are generally rude. Food is good and the entertainer is good fun but please you need to relax let families who have paid a lot of money enjoy their holiday !!!! If you want to talk Miguel come ans speak to me you'll know who I am

I visited the hotel as a solo traveller, check in smooth, v helpful and map of local area provided. After two days I requested a room move as 111 was right opposite the lift and on the front of the hotel and was a bit too noisy for me, reception happy to facilitate and I moved to 218 on the opposite side - great views, v quiet and a definite better option. Travelling solo is always an experience but the hotel and its staff made all the difference, I never struggled for a sun lounger and drinks are good and service whilst can be a bit slow is fine. Food for me was great, plenty of choice, always hot and restaurant staff friendly. Room decent size, shower powerful and oh to have a bath! Kettle provided with selection of tea and coffee Fridge and air con, housekeeping staff amazing and overall exceptionally clean. The pool gets the sun from early morning until gone 8pm, some families complained about lack of child facilities but when you do your research it’s clear what the hotel offers. Pool bar offers toasties, sandwiches, hot dogs, crisps and nuts but doesn’t advertise it! *tips to improve - add water machines for self service, extra coffee machines for self service, provide milk in the rooms, advertise snack menu at pool bar, extra staff needed at bar at peak times Thank-you to all that made my staff a v relaxing one and I will be back!

I had chosen this hotel convinced by the reviews but unfortunately I was very disappointed. Let's start with the positive things: the location (it is in front of the sea in Colonia Sant Jordi) and all the rooms have a sea view, good and airy breakfast, beautiful pool area (from there you can access the sea). Unfortunately the structure is old and a bit neglected. The signs of the times can be seen almost everywhere. The furnishings of both the rooms and the halls are old. The rooms are clean but there are signs of aging. As soon as I arrived I noticed that the chandelier in the room was not working but only the lampshades near the bed. I had to go to reception to have it replaced. The next day when I returned I found a used rag on the bedside table forgotten by the maid who hadn't even emptied the bins. I reported this to the reception who promptly acknowledged the matter and the room was subsequently looked after more. It's a shame because these "problems" shouldn't happen in a 4 star hotel

I normally book self catering when I come home to Mallorca as hotel good is usually undesirable. This year it was myself and my youngest son and we wanted some us time, so I searched for half board. This hotel is located in the most perfect spot and all the rooms have a sea view which is breathtaking. The rooms are in need of renovation, they are small and extremely basic and do not have a feel of more than a 2 star, with a teeny bathroom. However, they are very clean and the beds were changed and made daily. The pool area is very clean and spacious and the pool is extremely clean too. They check it every single morning. You are given hotel towels which you can exchange daily with the life guard on duty. The sun loungers are rattan style and the mattress do need to be changed as they are discoloured and some showed signs of mildew. None the less, very comfy. The food; what can I say. Every morning and evening there has been a huge selection of different items, from a massive salad buffet to meats and fish, pizza, rice, pasta and vegetarian options. Yummy desserts and pastries, cheeses fruits cereals breads and the list is endless. The head chef is a diamond who will cook you everything and anything you want and need. The staff are the friendliest and sweetest people ever. Approachable and helpful. Anything asked for they would do whatever to get it for you. All you need to do is be polite and voila!
Would I go back again? 100% I will. The area is lovely, everything was lovely.
Please renovate the rooms and sun loungers. Everything else is perfect! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!

The highlight of this hotel is really the location and the views. Being right on the seafront, every room has a fantastic view over the ocean and the boardwalk along the coast is absolutely lovely. The bus stop to Palma is also only a 10 min walk away.
Unfortunately, the other aspects of the hotel were a little less satisfactory. Firstly, the sheets were rather thin and the pillows were oddly shaped and not very comfortable. Instead of a proper duvet, we were given a very scratchy blanket in a weird material that looked like it was meant to be a bedspread. Luckily, I didn't even need a blanket at all because the air-conditioning was so weak. As the french windows get full sun all day, the room gets extremely hot during the day and you have to close the curtains fully to prevent the room from becoming a boiler. The central aircon doesn't do much and there is no individual temperature control in each room. As we went in late October, the room was an ok temperature at night but only because we slept in our shorts and without covers.
Secondly, we had a very unpleasant experience with reception staff on our last day. We checked out early at 6am on our last day as we were going on a half day kayaking trip before catching our flight in the evening. When we returned in the afternoon, we requested to borrow a shower room as we were soaked in sea water from the kayak trip (note that there are no showers at the hotel pool). The receptionist gave us the keycard for a room and told us that we could use it for a quick shower.
However, when we went to the room and opened the door, we were shocked to find that there were 2 half dressed men already in the room! We thought we had barged into another guest's room so we immediately apologised and closed the door. We went back to reception to ask if they had made a mistake, but instead the receptionist got upset and started to raise her voice at us. Apparently, we were meant to share the room with the other 2 men who were also having a shower after check out. I thought that this was very inappropriate especially as the receptionist did not tell us that there was other guests in the room before sending us up. We had to knock on the door again and explain the situation to the 2 other guests, then stand dripping wet in the corridor while waiting for them to finish their showers. I was also confused about why the receptionist got angry when we tried to confirm that we got the right room and loudly lectured us in the hotel lobby like it was our fault. I hope that the hotel can look into this matter so as to avoid future guests unexpectedly barging in on other half naked guests.
