We stayed 11-18 Oct 2022. We could not fault one thing. From reception to cleaning staff, chef to bar/waitresses/waiters, outstanding. Staff a credit to the company and made our holiday, we felt so looked after. The food exceeded our expectations. The facilities wonderful: spa; rooftop lounge/pool. The location was perfect, near sandy beach, clear clean sea with lifeguard even in October, shops, restaurants, chemist, delicatessen, information bureau etc. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families (we are oldies) ; the beach is gently sloping so ideal for little ones and could see how staff at the hotel were accommodating and appreciative of little ones.
There's alot to like about Hotel Honucai. The hotel is generally clean and modern. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. WiFi is decent. Breakfast offers reasonable variety, although the quality varies. The rooftop pool area was nice but it is only a plunge pool. Attention to detail and levels of customer service could be improved. Check-in was slow, service at the restaurant (Salicornia) was horrible and our bathroom wasn't that clean when we arrived. Our room (107) also felt constantly damp. Hotel Honucai sells itself on luxury but ultimately it felt a little overpriced for what was offered
We stayed 5 nights in a lateral sea room. The hotel overall was just beautiful, spotlessly clean and stylish. The room was great with comfy beds with everything you need. The rooftop pool and bar is so fantastic with amazing views of the harbour. Highly recommend getting up for sunrise. The breakfast was good. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect. On the main promenade with restaurants on the doorstep. The beaches were fantastic, our favourite was just around the bay with snorkelling from the beach. There is also a beach bar serving food and drink. The town was charming and authentic with a great choice of places to eat and drink. We loved everything about Hotel Honucai and will definitely visit again!
We spend 1 week at hotel Honucai in Sept 2021. Hotel is excellenty located on the main boulevard of Sant Jordi with lots of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Check in was clear and helpful, our rooms on the 1st floor were ok, nothing more, nothing less. Everything you need is provided (closet, minibar, shower products, etc) but the room did feel a little small. Also, noise isolation isn't that good and on some occasions a bad smell came from the AC. Nothing dramatic, but not really up to the 4 stars standard in my opninion. Breakfast was good, large choice but unfortunately it was the exact same assortment throughout the week. The breakfast area is well decorated and created a really cosy vibe. We had drinks on the rooftop bar once, service there was a little slow but the great views make up for this ! We rented a car and there is enough (free) parking space in the streets surrounding the hotel. All in all hotel was good value for money if you want to stay in the area !…
Let me put it this way: we had an absolutely great stay in the hotel since we had a perfect price benefit-ratio, got obviously upgraded without telling us and we experienced a perfect stay in the hotel. However, there are some cons and I will come back to them later. The check-in was quickly done and we got access to our room even before check-in time, just perfect. We booked the lowest category of rooms with view backyards, but we got a partial sea view room even we were not informed about that. We were absolutely fine with that of course. The room was cozy, the bed comfortable and all was absolutely clean. There was no noise from outside, neither from the corridor. The room was in good shape, the bathroom clean and everything was well working except some minor issues with the vault which we got fixed by the maintenance guy. The bathroom accessories were of high quality also. The roof top is amazing. An absolute perfect view to the town. A nice bar, combined with a small pool and some sun-beds invite you for a cozy afternoon. Since only few sun-beds and sun-umbrellas are available, this might cause some issues if more people are in the hotel. The breakfast was great, good choice. The minor issue: it was each day the same choice of vegetables, bread, sausage, cheese etc. Some lack of having a better idea on how to make the breakfast more interesting. Warm dishes were made a la minute, free choice. Same for hot beverages and cold drinks. The major issue we experienced was an absolute bad Wi-Fi. No Wi-Fi at the pool and a bad connection in the rooms. Maybe due to Corona the maintenance suffered a little bit. However, we recommend to visit this very nice hotel.…
Well worth a visit . Three friends just spent a relaxing weekend at this beautiful immaculate clean hotel . Location and beach perfect , lots of restaurants to choose from , reception staff made us feel so welcome .. We didn’t want to leave , will definitely be visiting again sooner rather than later .
My girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel for 8 nights and we really enjoyed the place. The staff was very friendly, kind and always ready to help when needed. We also really enjoyed the stay because the room were fresh and clean, with a white summery vibe. They also provided fresh towels for the beach (which is something I didn't expect) and guided us with cool things to do on the Island. My girlfriend appreciated a lot the restaurant interior and the terrace at breakfast time. We felt as ease and we will definetely come back. We really reccomend this Hotel!
We were looking for a more upscale, not too big hotel far from the crowds but not isolated and found it here. The whole place is tastefully decorated and has a beautiful view directly onto the harbour. There was a good mix of couples, groups of friends and families, no either-or. The staff are very hospitable and always helpful. Especially liked the hotel's own restaurant Salicornia. Selected, varied dishes, great fish and pleasant portions (class instead of mass). The service team was very polite, friendly reserved, courteous and had everything in view. If you liked, you could also have a nice short chat, so you felt welcome but not rushed. Charming, beautiful hotel - we had a relaxing time.
Loved this little boutique hotel. Friendly from the moment you walked in, clean, smart and fab location, right on the front. Rooms are small for the price but this is made up by the experience and facilities, like the rooftop pool. Breakfast is in the smart restaurant downstairs and is really nice experience, with doors opened up. The fresh juice was amazing. A little expensive compared to other hotels but enjoyed the location and experience.
Nice and cute hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are clean, cute and have a nice fresh modern beachy athmospere. The room has nice details like bathrobes, bathslippers, mandala drawing set to relax, lovely minibar, free welcoming water bottle, showergels and many more. The room we had was small, but I still really enjoyed it. We spend out last night in another room and that one was more spacious, so that’s just luck. Unfortunately there was one thing bothering us and that was the bad WiFi connection. First room was okay but the second was not even connecting at all. So that’s really a thing. I’ve seen this in some other reviews from the hotel also. The spa is not big, but just enough to relax a little bit. Looks great and clean. The restaurant attached to it is a very nice one. Very kind and helpfull staff. We got the fish and chips by recommandation of the waiter and that was just amazing. Made with DAILY fresh catched fish and well priced for that kind of quality. As they buy the fish fresh everyday you have the chance it’s sold out because they ran out of fish. Also the chicken croquettes from the snack menu were amazing. It has a kind of indian curry flavour. …
