Trying to find the correct balance to write this review as I want to be fair and honest. Overall we enjoyed our 2 week stay here, as the location is perfect and we met some really nice people which made it more enjoyable. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful and our room on the 3rd floor overlooked the pool area. Hanging space in the wardrobe is very limited, as the safe is located on top of a shelf area, making any space above this unusable. Tip: take cheap plastic hangers as there are never enough. Food in the restaurant was plentiful and a fair amount of variety, but not always hot and sometimes dried up or overcooked. There are plenty of lovely restaurants Inearby for an alternative. The pool is rather small, but was sufficient for cooling off - the second pool is really only a dip pool and would be better changed into a jacuzzi. Not too many sunbeds and these were usually taken soon after the pool opened at 9am but during the day, people went off and vacated the sunbeds so not really a problem. The sun disappears from the pool area from around 4pm so a lot went to the beach. No music is allowed around the pool at all which I found very strange - and yes there was an almost constant barking of dogs from the residential homes on the adjacent street but only during the day. Couple of plastic drains broken next to pool which need urgent attention before they cause serous injury. Spa, jacuzzi and gym located downstairs through entertainment room but didn't visit so can't comment. Entertainment was rubbish, despite this being advertised as available through the day and night. We were only made aware there was an actual animation guy on the 4 th day when I asked about the lack of activities. He had not made himself known to any of the guests around the pool so not many knew of his existence. There was a programme of entertainment posted up in the reception area which consisted of the usual rifle shooting, pool knockout, darts, stretching exercises, etc but we had seen none of this. When questioned, he informed me the hotel was currently 70% occupied by French who had asked him to do other activities indoors and rifle shooting was not popular anyway and no-one wanted to do it. The fact is that no-one knew he was there to participate so how could he make that decision! After that, I announced the rifle shooting to guests, who were pleased to take part and we had good banter between British, French and other nationalities. I didn't push for any other events and therefore none took place. The evening entertainment which we were told by Tui would consist of bingo, quizzes, shows, discos etc turned out to be a disco every night and an alternative flamenco show or acrobat show once per week. I think the animation guy was just lazy and getting paid to do as little as possible. The all inclusive was available until midnight and you can help yourself to tea, coffee, slush, water and juice, but I was once again dismayed to see people re-filling water bottles and therefore contaminating the spouts with bottles which had been in mouths! This was openly allowed but I am still puzzled as to why people do this in normal times, let alone during a pandemic! We go to all the trouble of wearing masks indoors and sanitize hands on entry, then actively swap spit? Don't get it. Anyway, as I've said, I have tried to give an honest review and I would visit this hotel again, but maybe a couple of things need addressing? .

Myself and grandson arrived at our room,we checked out the balcony, unfortunately the balcony door didn't lock.We waited an hour for a chap to try to fix it.I then asked for another room. The second room was dated and shabby, but clean. In the morning I was called to reception to be asked to move again.I didn't want to as I'd unpacked and put washing bits on the line.I was asked to sign a document to say I was happy with the room, which is odd,I did.I enjoyed the rest of my stay. The food was good, the drinks were flowing. My grandson loved helping himself to red and blue slushes.First time I've encountered a hotel that uses reusable plastic cups. The cups were more like a glass, good quality and importantly saving so much plastic going to lwaste.Happy holidaying...

Just returned from this hotel, where do i start! We landed at the airport and was left waiting for a taxi for over half an hour in the blistering sun. When we finally got picked up, the taxi dropped us 3 streets away and pointed us in a direction towards the hotel! 40 minutes later we found this place, up a dingy side street! The hotel is completely overlooked by flats, and there is constant noise from dogs barking, people shouting and cars driving up the street, nothing like the photos, thats without the aeroplanes taking off every 10 minutes. The following day we had a thunder storm, the roof leaks and it was pouring through the lights! The food was ok, if you are from germany. Entertainment is non-existent and to top it all, we had to guess what time we were being picked up at the end of the street to come home! No tui rep in sight! Bar staff work really hard but the receptionist was downright rude!

Good afternoon We deeply regret not meeting your expectations. We do not coordinate TUI transfers, the hotel has no responsibility in this situation The hotel is located in a residential area, surrounded by houses. It is normal for people on the street going to the port or the beach and cars passing by on the street. We have daily and nightly entertainment every day of the week, with different activities and at night live music and an external show The transfer pick-up time is sent 24 hours before departure and the reception panels have all the information. We appreciate your comments to the bar staff as they work very hard to be able to give a good service to our customers as well as all the other departments a cordial greeting

Just returned from this hotel, this time as a solo 50+ female. From the moment I walked in the receptionist was so friendly and welcoming, all of the reception staff throughout my stay were friendly and welcoming. Spotless hotel in all areas. Lovely room with wonderful comfy bed , excellent shower fridge etc, had a pool view. All the housekeeping staff work really hard and real friendly. Bar staff all superb same staff as 3 years ago. Great choice of drinks etc, excellent snacks throughout the day. Restaurant food I really enjoyed always spoilt for choice and again great staff and service.Nightime entertainment a flamenco one night, and every night a disco.Throughout my stay never felt uncomfortable being a solo female. Reason only 4 stars would have liked more evening entertainment and perhaps some music round the pool. Anyway hoping to return and of Sept (government permiting).Thank you illusion calma I had a wonderful chilled holiday see you soon.
