Ilusion Calma & SPA is praised for its welcoming atmosphere and exceptional cleanliness, with guests consistently noting the immaculate rooms and public spaces. The staff's friendliness is acknowledged, although there have been some reports of service inconsistencies. Despite some noise complaints and occasional issues with room features, the hotel is considered a good value, largely due to its convenient location near the airport and beach. Amenities like the beach access and diverse food options are popular, though some guests find the pool area overpopulated and the entertainment lacking in variety.

Just back from a jet 2 holiday today spent week here nice hotel pool freezing though. They have a pool down stairs and jacuzzi sauna steam room and gym but this cost u €10 a time.
We went full board plus (all inclusive ) local lager and soft drinks were included tea coffee ect.
Bar staff were brill always helpful. Reception staff were great although there was a young lad who was not people friendly at all he let the side down.
Canteen was Repetitive with the food same stuff almost every day just given a diff name IE: carbonara one night would have same but with extra cheese they called it cheese grateenie they had fish on every night breakfast was nice we had bacon one day that was a bonus
Waiters were brilliant they work so hard
Rooms cleaned every day housekeeping were brill. As we went off season not really any entertainment other than karaoke bingo there was a singer on frid but oh my god the cats could sing better.
Although comments we would return to this hotel again.
Just hope there open will go during peak times though

Arrived back yesterday and for what we paid I could not be happier.
Check in was smooth. The man on reception was friendly, the room wasn’t ready until 2 but we got our All Inclusive wrist bands straight away so we were able to get drinks and have lunch which was great.
As there were 3 of us we were given room 409 which had 4 beds, it was huge. The balcony was lovely overlooking the side street with the sea and boats in the back ground. The sun was on it all the time.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all nice, we all found something to eat every time.
The drinks were good and the bar staff were so nice, they all made me smile every day.
The gym and spa were excellent. We went in every day, most times we had it all to ourselves which was amazing, so relaxing.
The hotel itself is ideally situated for everything. 2 minutes literally to the beach and promenade. Obviously we were out of season so a lot of places weren’t open.
The bus stop was only again minutes away, it was only 4 euros return each to Palma which was absolutely beautiful.
I cannot praise this place enough. I was telling the girl on reception yesterday before we left, I have never stayed in a hotel before where everybody was so nice and friendly. The staff, the other guests, everyone. It was just a lovely lovely place and I already can’t wait to go back.
Thank you to everyone at Illusion Calma!:)

My third visit in a year (November 2019)For the money, well worth it. You get a lot more than expected but don’t expect luxury. Always welcomed and looking forward to visiting when everything back to normal. I use this hotel as a base for visiting the rest of Majorca and consequently don’t use the spa facilities (or lunch). The staff I’ve come across are all very efficient and friendly, in particular Sam on reception, Miguel in the bar and Yuri and his entertainment artists.
All meals are sufficiently good and diverse choice for all. This is not top-class catering, but everything is plentiful and well cooked. You will not go hungry or thirsty, but don’t expect fine dining. I went all inclusive as most do. I cannot complain about any of the food, drink or facilities. I can only compliment the hotel for unbelievable value for money.
The bedrooms are clean and comfortable though a little basic, but perfectly reasonable for a good nights sleep. Breakfast is also very acceptable, huge choice, maybe not the highest quality, but you can have as much as you like. The service staff are all multi-lingual, and friendly if you’re the sort of person who willingly engages with them. The evening entertainment is good with Yuri and his team of visiting artists perfectly acceptable. With such a diverse group of British, German, French and Spanish visitors not an easy feat, but every effort is made to engage all especially in singing Karaoke and dancing. The Bar service is excellent value for money, and for health and safety reasons, served in plastic glasses to avoid breakages near the pool. The Hotel is ideally suited near the airport and the airport bus only costs 5 euros. Local tobacconists sell ‘ten use local bus passes’ similar to Oyster Cards. The bus routes are plentiful and get you into Palma in less than half an hour at most. From Palma you can visit all parts of the island, all at a reasonable price from the Placa d’España central bus, coach and rail station.
Overall I’m totally satisfied by my three visits last year as this hotel suits my needs for visiting this idyllic island nearly always out of season. The only negative is that you have to pay for Wi-fi which is reasonable but I’d prefer it to be part of the package. Grateful thanks to all the management and staff who do a fantastic job, highly recommended.

The hotel is shoe horned into a side street of one of the busiest areas, nowhere to park a hire car as the spaces are bumper to bumper full 24/7.
The hotel itself looks modern but small when you arrive, check in was quick but then we got to the room.
8 hangers in the single wardrobe with 2 cubes and a safe underneath, so unless your a very tiny person nothing hangs it just rests on top of the safe. Absolutely no drawers or storage space in the room, patio doors wouldn’t lock so they repaired them, then we couldn’t open them. Only two working plug sockets by the bed, the shower head wouldn’t stay up so we had to jam a water bottle under it to take a shower, no baths in the rooms whereas Tui states shower over the bath. Air con is a con, it’s no better than a waiter blowing out of his mouth. One plus is the bed is comfortable and clean. The balcony was a joke, if you are happy to sit and stare at your neighbours it’s fine but no privacy at all. Hairdryer useless bring your own, no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms.
The restaurant was a joke, food cold, veg overcooked, lots of stuff rehashed from the previous day, they even peeled the hot dogs at breakfast because the skins had gone hard, the only plus about the restaurant is the coffee from the machine was ok.
The pool looks ok but small but has a green sludge all round the top of the tiles, after our first day I noticed the lining of my costume was going green, same thing the next day so we didn’t go in it again, never saw anyone cleaning it, nor the sun beds which desperately need replacing along with the filthy sun shades.
The bar, the bar staff are amazing and what makes this hotel, the drinks are ok, would be nice to be trusted with a glass at night though.
Snack bar, Luke warm buffet and covered in flies all day. Nice little pots of ice cream though.
The spa was good, it was nice to have a jacuzzi, sauna and dip in the pool after a long day outside.
Entertainment - there is none, there is a guy who plays some music from his laptop at night and then tells you to leave at midnight.
Tui rep - didn’t see one, no Tui information in the hotel got more help from the Jet2 rep.
Overall we spent a lot of money eating out and getting away from the hotel, if it was self catering and just a base then it would be okish

We have just come back from 5 days here. It is 5 minutes from the airport, we booked a transfer but I wouldn't bother next time and would just get the bus which stops at the end of the street the hotel is on.

The location is perfect for this hotel. 2 minutes walk in either direction to the beach, shops and restaurants. 5 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from Palma and 5 minutes walk along the beach to Palma Aquarium.

The food is good, plenty of choice and very European. There is always a freshly cooked fish and meat at dinner and freshly cooked eggs and pancakes at breakfast.

The rooms are big and all have a balcony. Ours also had a fridge in it.

The staff are amazing. A particular shout out to Ricardo on the bar who went above and beyond to give us recommendations for the local area and attempting to teach us Spanish.

It's €1.50 to get the bus into Palma which stopped right outside the cathedral.

We would definitely recommend and will certainly be back.

We stayed a week on an all inclusive basis at the hotel, and were really pleased by the staff and facilities.
Considering the price we paid for the hotel we were blown away by its location, the variety of food and all inclusive drinks. I can see why some picky eaters may find food a little difficult as there were no chips or plainer pasta dishes for most nights that we stayed, but we never struggled to find food to eat. The snack bar was also open from lunch time every day with chips, burgers, hotdogs etc.
The entertainment staff are so lovely and although the actual activities and night time entertainment isn’t fantastic it was good considering the size of the hotel. We often liked to go out after our night time meal for a wander to the beach and bars surrounding anyway so it wasnt an issue, but enjoyed a bingo night, quiz night and parrot show at the hotel which was a good laugh and a great atmosphere.
The room was big enough for the two of us (a young couple) and we were also pleasantly surprised by the road view. After reading reviews about not such a nice view we worried that we may be looking over another roof but no complaints here - it was a lovely street to look onto, quiet and could see the sea from our balcony. Another bonus was that once the pool area started to be cooler and shaded towards tea time we were able to move to our balcony which caught sunlight until very late on.
We never struggled for a sunbed around the pool, even when we went down at 2pm some days we managed to find two beds somewhere. And two drinks each at a time seemed more than enough for us, especially when you could help yourself to slushes, we asked for a shot of alcohol put into those and they lasted much better when we were around the pool.
The only complaint i can have is a small one about the room - the shower did overflow onto the bathroom floor due to it being raised but with no lip at the end, so there was nothing we could do to prevent overflowing water but lay a towel on the floor and mop up after each shower.
Overall can’t really fault the hotel. The staff were super helpful whenever we had any queries, the location is so close to the beach, shops and bars/restaurants and all inclusive we definitely got our moneys worth with! C’an pastilla is a lovely area and would definitely recommend a trip into Palma for the day - only €2 each way on the bus.

We have just returned from a week at this hotel & cannot fault it at all. We arrived late at night about 11.30pm, check in was quick & we were advised we could go to the restaurant for some food, there was some meats, cheese’s salad & bread rolls. Our room was on the 3rd floor with a balcony facing some local apartments, it was spotlessly clean & the maids came in everyday to change the beds & towels if that’s what you wanted. The food was lovely there was always loads to choose from at breakfast, lunch & dinner, we never struggled to find something we both liked. The pool area is nice & kept very clean, plenty sun beds (doesn’t matter what time we arrived we always got a bed) my partner used the gym everyday & said it was ideal for a wee holiday workout. The staff were always friendly & helpful & the bar/reception area was a good size for all the guests, it never felt too busy. The local area is nice with plenty shops, bars, restaurants & a lovely beach in one direction & a nice marina & coastal walk the other. We will definitely be returning in future.

Stayed here for one week all inclusive
First was tourist tax then price of a safe then price of an iron. Anyway we got a room on second floor we opened the door and in we went straight away we opened the doors to the balcony the view that met us was a large green tin roof with bits and pieces of junk thrown onto it, so back down to reception to see about changing the room after trying to charge us an extra 70 euros for a pool view which we declined the gave us another room further along the corridor. After settling in we decided to go down to the bar for a drink I asked for a beer which arrived in a tiny plastic tumbler maybe for safety reasons near the pool I think they held approx quarter of a pint you were only allowed two of these at a time tumblers could do with being half pint ones snacks were same every day, pools were very small and always packed main meals start off quite good but quickly go to same old same old air con in the room blows less than a cheap fan but the fridge keeps your room warm as it seems to get hot inside the unit it's in thank god for the beach and restaurant's near by as this is where most of our time was spent cleaning staff were hard working and cleaned every day all in all if you like going to bed early and you're not to bothered about the food, pool and entertainment this will be right up your street

Dear sttevej Thank you very much for choosing the for your stay and for taking the time to give us your opinion. We are very sorry that we were not able to fully meet your expectations Thank you very much for choosing the for your stay and for taking the time to give us your opinion. We are very sorry that we were not able to fully meet your expectations and we assure you that we will continue to work hard for your next visit. the tourist tax is a tax that is paid in all hotels in the Balearic Islands imposed by the government, if you look at your reservation you can see that it is paid directly at the hotel, in the hotel information you can see that the safe has an extra cost, and the iron a deposit of 10 € which is returned when you give it to us. We are sorry you did not like the room you were assigned, but as you say, 2 options were offered, one to change to another room of the same category or a change of category which has an extra cost, as other customers pay for that category of room, Drinks are served in polycarbonate cups for safety in the swimming pool. We are sorry about the air conditioning failure, but it has been solved. We will take note of your comments to continue improving day by day. kind regards
