We spent 2 weeks at this hotel over Christmas and New Year and really enjoyed out stay there. The staff are nearly all quite young but friendly and professional. The rooms are excellent and the hotel is very well run. Breakfast is excellent, unfortunately at that time of the year the restaurant is only open for special events. We will certainly be going back.

Another relaxing and enjoyable stay at OD Port Portals. Although only staying as working locally the welcoming bar area is perfect for a catch up after a long day. Breakfast is served from 0800 although cold choices and coffee are available well before that time. There are an abundance of bars and restaurants just a short walk away. Next year couldn’t come too soon.

Stayed at OD for the second time in July (I’d previously stayed last year) the hotel is well designed and a good location to head down to Puerto Portals, which is way we chose it.

It’s not a cheap place to stay and service really lacks in my opinion.

Our Air Con didn’t work so the first night we slept in an oven, we managed to get this fixed for the second night and the General Manager was helpful and discounted the room.

I think the hotel has some way to go for its price point considering other hotels on the island offer much better service.

Dear JoshuaA865, Thank you very much for your review. We regret your second stay was spoiled somehow due to the air con issue, and we do apologise for it once again. Hopefully there will be a new chance to prove you we can do it better. The reopening in July was not as smooth as we wished it to be. Send you kindest regards, Mar Soler General Manager

Not a 4* hotel. Rooms small, bathroom floods, shower runs cold then luke warm then boiling so you’re playing Russian roulette to get third degree burns.

Cleaners play bumper cars against the doors at silly o’clock in the morning.

Reception were pointless and rude. Don’t ask them to get you a taxi, it won’t show up.

Everything is over priced at €6 for a san Miguel and €14 for a frozen pizza.

Pool area is nice enough though, sun beds are comfy albeit right next to a busy road though so music is loud during the day.

For the price paid, definitely wouldn’t return.

On the 31st of October Majorcan hoteliers seem to think the season should be over and shut up shop for the winter. Well done for keeping the hotel open but there are some obvious restrictions on what’s being offered.
First the positives the staff at this hotel are exceptional and I mean exceptional .
The breakfast is fine I’ve had better I’ve had worse .
The Wi-Fi is okay.
However that’s about where it stops .
The rooms are fine but the two either side of the lifts were noisy.
The rooftop swimming pool and bar was closed long before we arrived.
. The downstairs swimming pool is also closed and there is no indoor pool.
There is no gym .
There is no spa..
There is no room service in fact there is nothing to serve apart from breakfast as the restaurant is closed.
We were told the bar was closing whilst we were there on our golf trip but thankfully someone talked the management out of it.
The traffic on the busy road over the hedge from the pool edge is still very noisy as it is on the roundabout nearby and the road leading up from there. The buses are a regular feature nice to have if you want one but not all the time.
Would I return to the hotel at the same time of the year … no way. Might be nice to try it in the summer but to be honest portals nous doesn’t do much for me I could never really understand why people are interested in a load of floating fibreglass down on the marina and the beach did not look up to much.

I have just arrived home from a lovely weekend at the Leonardo Boutique hotel.
The hotel is very modern and designed to a very high spec. Our room was on the small side and we didn’t have a balcony but if I returned I would book a room with a balcony. We did have a small issue with a mirror in our room which was fixed asap.
The rooms don’t come with an iron or ironing board but when we asked at reception house keeping delivered one to our door right away.
The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you.
The food/snacks were well presented and very tasty.
Although the pool was small it wasn’t overcrowded. The music was pleasant & the ambiance was relaxed.
We couldn’t keep our room on, on the last day but we was offered baggage hold and courtesy room to shower in, which was clean and very convenient.
Overall an amazing weekend. We would definitely return.

We spent four nights at this friendly hotel. Our room (701) was small but had everything we needed and a good sea view. The shower was great but the bathroom flooded dreadfully every time we used it, we reported it to reception and they were clearly aware that it is an ongoing issue.

The pool area was lovely and the loungers comfier than those we’ve experienced in true 5* hotels. There is some road noise but the background music helps a lot with this.

Breakfast was fairly basic but again everything we needed, the coffee needs upgrading for sure!

It’s a gentle 10 minute walk downhill to the harbour and then a tougher uphill walk back!

Bus service from Marinelands was excellent.

We stayed here in July 2021 as a couple for a short break. Most guests were couples although there were a few families. The positives are that the room was nice, and very clean, with air con that worked well. Breakfast was also good and the couple of times we had some lunch food was great. However, the blonde girl on reception seriously needs some customer service training and we literally avoided her at all cost! Also, the steps to the pool have been added as an after thought and were not easy to use. Its about a 10 min stroll down to the marina but on the way back its uphill!! Make no mistake this is a converted apartment block and really not a 'new build hotel' as billed. One recommendation - pre-book restaurants in port portals or you could get caught out.

Dear JudithChalmers1970, Thank you very much for your review and for your compliments to the rooms comfort and food. The hotel was completely redesigned and refurbished before its opening in April 2014. Indeed, it always used to be a hotel before, not an apartment block. The design of the pool is inspired in the sandy beaches of the island and its colors. We regret the steps seemed difficult to use, but we asure they comply with all regulations. Future guests will appreciate your recommendation of pre-booking restaurants, and also beach clubs in advance. July and August is peak season and the marina and surroundings are very popular. Our Front Desk staff do their utmost to arrange the bookings for our guests, but during the busiest season is not always easy. Thank you once again for sharing your experience. Kindest regards, Mar Soler General Manager Ocean Drive Port Portals

Zero atmosphere in this hotel, rooftop bar NOT OPEN. Such a shame as with customer service this place could be great, receptionist was the most miserable person we have ever met and she is representing your whole hotel. There are zero people in the bar at any time which should say a lot about how a place is run. Again such a shame as looks great but no personality at all

Dear Rebecca, As Winifred S mentioned, it is easy to get a taxi at the airport. It is aprox, 35€. From the hotel, we could arrange a private pick up transport and it is 78€ each way. The hotel is close to 3 beaches, the nearest, it is not more than a 10-minute walk. The farthest is in 20 minutes aprox. Kindest regards Mar Soler Directora, OD Port Portals
