Another relaxing and enjoyable stay at OD Port Portals. Although only staying as working locally the welcoming bar area is perfect for a catch up after a long day. Breakfast is served from 0800 although cold choices and coffee are available well before that time. There are an abundance of bars and restaurants just a short walk away. Next year couldn’t come too soon.

On arrival, first outside impressions were amazing however when going to reception to check in, the reception staff were abrupt, rude and unhelpful. It seemed like an effort to even acknowledge us arriving at the hotel. Baring in mind, this hotel relies heavily on the U.K. tourism / British people staying at this hotel. It felt we were being an inconvenience, which no customer should feel. The staff didn’t inform us of the facilities available, nearby locations of beaches/ shops, or bank holidays, this is also poor customer service. This is also pivotal information every customer staying at the hotel should be informed of. When staying at this hotel, a public music event had been held on the rooftop bar. This * which this information was never informed when on arrival. ) Public from the outside attending the event, were occupying the lifts for several hours, with loud music blaring out. A guest shouldn’t have to wait for a lift to their room, for sake of people attending the event which don’t stay at the hotel… absolutely unacceptable. Not only this … the hotel had turned off air conditioning to compensate of holding this event with awful music. Absolute nightmare to sleep in heat with no air con ! I had also sat in the restaurant in the evening to have a meal, and the service.. quite frankly a joke. It took over 45 minutes for a toasted sandwich to arrive, there was absolutely no one in the restaurant, this isn’t excusable. This made a whole lot worse by a waitress taking further 10 minutes for our bill and didn’t apologise for us waiting a considerable amount of time already. I absolutely loved this location, the beach was a 5 minute walk, with also several lovely eateries by the beach. The hotel has beautiful interior, and the cleanliness is 10/10 however when you pay for a “ top hotel in a top location” you expect top service. I won’t be returning to hotel when visiting Mallorca again. Their saving grace of this hotel, is the lovely, friendly and helpful staff which work in the breakfast buffet… with also the very nice lady working at the bar… Absolute credit. They should definitely be on the front desk. Reception desk staff are pivotal in first impressions of a hotel.…

We stayed here in July 2021 as a couple for a short break. Most guests were couples although there were a few families. The positives are that the room was nice, and very clean, with air con that worked well. Breakfast was also good and the couple of times we had some lunch food was great. However, the blonde girl on reception seriously needs some customer service training and we literally avoided her at all cost! Also, the steps to the pool have been added as an after thought and were not easy to use. Its about a 10 min stroll down to the marina but on the way back its uphill!! Make no mistake this is a converted apartment block and really not a 'new build hotel' as billed. One recommendation - pre-book restaurants in port portals or you could get caught out.

The hotel was completely redesigned and refurbished before its opening in April 2014. Indeed, it always used to be a hotel before, not an apartment block. The design of the pool is inspired in the sandy beaches of the island and its colors. We regret the steps seemed difficult to use, but we asure they comply with all regulations. Future guests will appreciate your recommendation of pre-booking restaurants, and also beach clubs in advance. July and August is peak season and the marina and surroundings are very popular. Our Front Desk staff do their utmost to arrange the bookings for our guests, but during the busiest season is not always easy. Thank you once again for sharing your experience. Zero atmosphere in this hotel, rooftop bar NOT OPEN. Such a shame as with customer service this place could be great, receptionist was the most miserable person we have ever met and she is representing your whole hotel. There are zero people in the bar at any time which should say a lot about how a place is run. Again such a shame as looks great but no personality at all

Stayed at OD for the second time in July (I’d previously stayed last year) the hotel is well designed and a good location to head down to Puerto Portals, which is way we chose it. It’s not a cheap place to stay and service really lacks in my opinion. Our Air Con didn’t work so the first night we slept in an oven, we managed to get this fixed for the second night and the General Manager was helpful and discounted the room. I think the hotel has some way to go for its price point considering other hotels on the island offer much better service.

We spent 2 weeks at this hotel over Christmas and New Year and really enjoyed out stay there. The staff are nearly all quite young but friendly and professional. The rooms are excellent and the hotel is very well run. Breakfast is excellent, unfortunately at that time of the year the restaurant is only open for special events. We will certainly be going back.

Lovely modern boutique hotel with super friendly staff. Really convenient for Palma and all other areas. Ideal for golfers and easy to walk into Portals marina. Bedrooms cleverly designed and very comfortable. Lovely bar and great breakfast. Cannot fault it.

A 3 day stay for work in nearby Port Adriano, OD Port Portals is a mere 15 minute cab journey. Attentive staff both at reception, restaurant and bar make this such a pleasure to stay. Breakfasts available until midday ensures those who enjoy their slumber can make it in time. A hearty choice of both cold and hot (cooked to order) choices. A prawn caesar salad for an afternoon snack was just right. The rooms are spacious with shower deceptively placed adjacent to the balcony. The marina is a short 10 minute maximum walk and there are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. OD Port Portals is certainly doing something right,

Stayed here over the NewYears break in 2017/18 and loved it! So decided to try a summer break here. Wasn’t disappointed, it’s a modern hotel which is geared more for adults than families ( that said there was people with children there). It has a great swimming pool with waiter service for drink snacks etc. Nice cabanas you can really chill out on plus a ‘quiet area’ away from the music of the pool. The breakfasts are lovely, big choice with orders on omelettes,eggs etc if required. The rooftop bar and restaurant are great. Amazing views and good choice of drinks and food. We did book a table one night to eat but it was cancelled as high winds. During our stay there was a Gin Fest night! Fabulous ! Lots of beautiful people, lots of gin and snacks to have if required. And a DJ playing good music. Bonus, the hotel is 10 mins walk away from the Marina. We love this hotel and will def be back …

Albeit this isn't a 5 star hotel (so please note this when reading or booking), it really is lovely and great choice of location for walking to the marina and UM Beach House. This isn't a hotel with vast grounds and pool scene but what they do have , they do well. It's an adult orientated hotel, very cool and quite cosmopolitan . The pool area and sunbeds are clean and comfy, they did run out of towels once but never mind., it was soon rectified The pool /lunchtime menu is lovely! The food was absolutely gorgeous and tasty - with some Rose Wine! The rooms have everything you can think of ! We were a group of 7 , we had a mixture of Junior Suites and Twin Bedrooms - if you can afford the Junior Suite, it really is worth it as it has just that bit more room and storage ! That said the, twin sinks with eye level mirrors and full length mirrors to the other side of each are a dream when three girls are trying to get ready at the same time! The mini bar is well stocked, you will find lots of little extras like a travel plug, herbal drinks for a hangover, sweets, chocolates,(all at an extra charge) great Nespresso machine. Fluffy towels, bath robes, docking speaker station. The room was made up everyday and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is great as it's made to order and served until 12pm , Continental breakfast is a buffet and as for breakfast drinks,, there are around 15 types of tea! The sky bar looked amazing but we went out to the marina bars every night - fabulous fun. You must visit UM Beach house if you would like a chilled out day with good music and food, worth every single penny, on the door step and we were spoilt!
